Toffee.
___ Discobot Funkytown Scale 1 Pendulum: You can Destroy this card: Take 2 "Discobot" monsters from your Deck, and Special Special Summon 1 of them and add the other to your hand. The monster Summoned by this effect cannot be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Material. This effect of "Discobot Funkytown" can only be activated once per turn. Monster: The infamous Funkytown units are mass production models that require minimal energy and were designed by the evil Dr.Greenberg. They originated in Minneapolis and were set out to invade New York. Due to the efficiency of these machines, you could almost say they could keep on movin', keep on groovin', with little energy.Discobot Groove Thing Scale 1 Pendulum: Once, while this card is face-up on the field, you can: Add from your Deck to your hand 1 "Disco" monster card. Monster: Groove Thing was finally completed by co-builders 'Peaches' and 'Herb', after it's construction was put on hiatus for about 7 years. When it was finally built, it was entered into that year's national "Robotic Dance Championship", and took home every 1st place trophy. This would ensure it's fame for the next 22 weeks. ___ Discobot Heart of Glass Scale 11 Pendulum: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Disco" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can target 1 or 2 "Discobot" monsters you control: Destroy this card, and if you do, increase the Levels of the target(s) by 2. Then, Draw 1 card. This effect of "Discobot Heart of Glass" can only be activated once per turn. Monster: This machine was originally used as part of an idea to demonstration the fundamentals of using transparent components to potentially offer better camouflage for stealth oriented missions. Heart of Glass was merely an earlier prototype, and it wouldn't be optimized until 3 years later. During which, it received a substantial increase in speed and made it far more imposing.Discobot Le Freak Scale 1 Pendulum: You can Discard 1 card: Special Summon 1 "Discobot" monster from your Deck. This effect of "Discobot Le Freak" can only be activated once per turn. Monster: Le Freak was built at, and specifically for, Studio 54; an intergalactic convention that is known for it's highly original robot designs. Le Freak quickly rose to be the most popular mascot for the con, and because of this, the ticket sales alone rose to well over 7 million. People ranging from engineers, to hobbyists, to just fans of robots, come from across the galaxy to see this techno-organic marvel in action. ___ Discobot Night Fever Scale 11 Pendulum: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Disco" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can: Tribute monsters from your side of the field whose total Levels equal 10, then Ritual Summon 1 "Disco Inferno" from your hand. When you Ritual Summon a "Disco Inferno", your opponent cannot activate cards/card effects. Monster: One Saturday night, his owner Barry came into the local chop shop when his fellow workers were fine tuning a muscle car, and pitched the idea to his friends for a fighting robot. After a few years worth of work, Night Fever came into existence. Night Fever is the current reigning champion of the tri-weekly competitive "Saturday Night Robogames" for the longest running streak of 57 victories without a single loss.Disco Inferno Scale 11 Pendulum: You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Disco" monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can destroy this card: Add from your Deck to your hand up to 5 different "Discobot" monsters. You can only activate this effect of "Disco Inferno" once per turn. Monster: If this card in your Monster Zone would leave the field, you can return it to your hand instead. Can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of a "Disco" card. You can only Ritual Summon "Disco Inferno" once per turn. If this card is Ritual Summoned, you can roll a number of dice equal to the number of different "Discobot" monsters you Tributed, then apply each corresponding effect for each result of the dice: @1: You can destroy 1 card on the field. @2: Draw 1 card. @3: This card gains 1000 ATK. @4: Inflict 1000 damage to your Opponent. @5: Look at your opponent's hand and shuffle 1 card from it into the Deck. @6: Look at your opponent's Extra Deck, and Banish a card from it._________________ These were honestly fun to make. This started as an idea that I pitched to Sleepy, and then later mentioned to Voltex and Kingdom Neos. Originally I had all of these as FIRE/Pyro with a more fire oriented theme, but after a stroke of genius I had, they would then go on to become the 'Disobots' they are now. The names of the 5 Normal Monsters are all disco songs with the flavor text being a reference to the song itself. They are all Level 2 with 400/400, because all 5 of them together equal Inferno's Level 10 with 2000/2000. Speaking of which... Disco Inferno is basically Crazy Box cranked up to 11(oh hey, a random music related joke)- Basically the Discobots are meant to let you roll 5 dice at once with Inferno, and then all hell breaks lose because of what Inferno is potentially capable of doing. After all, the club cant even handle it... Heh... And before you ask, yes, Inferno's effect will apply multiple instances of the same effect, if you get duplicate results; That's the point. Darj
I'm posting mainly to highlight the importance of that sneaky Tuner in the archetype. Unlike other Pendulum Tuners, it doesn't have any restrictions or drawbacks that limit your Synchro Summoning options, nor prevent you from Pendulum Summoning it along other monsters to Synchro Summon potentially every turn; and that's quite the big deal and takes the archetype to a deceptively higher level IMO. Then, as Level 2s, you should easily have access to the Synchro 4 and 6 pools, and a monster I consider particularly important from those pools is "Herald of Arc Light", whose floating effect can assist you with searching for the Ritual Monster boss. Hastorr should be a cute and feasible option, as well.In addition, the level modulation effect of "Heart of Glass" can grant you access to Synchro monsters of higher Levels, specifically the Synchro8 pool, which has useful options, namely the Stardust Dragons, that Scarlight Red Dragon, PSY-Framelord Omega, and so on. Summoning Leoh is also a possibility with 3 Discbots, but in theory it should be too impractical to warrant a spot in the Extra Deck; it may be worth it if the meta calls for it, though. Sleepy
Honestly, I like the concept, but I think you made it too easy to assemble everything. It is like Nekroz + untouched PePe in levels of consistency. You just need to Normal Summon a Manju/Senju or already have the Ritual in hand and you can already go nuts. Put Inferno as a Scale from your hand and destroy it to search for a second Ritual and 4 other cards >Put Goove Thing as a Scale and search for Funky > Put Funky as a Scale and destroy it to search and Summon something else >Machine Dupe your Summon from the Deck (recommend it to be Le Freak > At this stage either get Heart of Glass or Night Fever into your second Scale. >If you went for Heart of Glass, you can now have 3 Level 4 monsters and a Level 2 or 2 of each Level. Xyz into whatever you want.>If you went for Night Fever, you realize you have a 4 monster field, a full Scale ready to work, at least 1 Extra Deck monster to Pendulum Summon, and a 9 card hand. You can use the 3 Funkys on the field for the Ritual Summon and 2 from the hand, reducing your hand to 6 cards in the process and maximizing the effects of Inferno. Then you can still Pendulum Summon, and one of the monsters you searched is a Tuner so you can go for any Level 4/6/8/10 right there. THEN you realize most of your archetype can be retrieved in multiples from your Graveyard with Dark Factory of Mass Production and Tri-Wight. I think it needs a few fixes there.
