This definitely has potential, since you can just use a Pendulum Effect, like Scout, then make an Xyz losing ideally 1 card. If you can Special Summon non-archetypal monsters, this becomes even easier. Some monsters are a very high level on purpose so that they can be activated in the Pendulum Scale, and this ignores that to make a free Synchro. Its LIGHT fairy typing means it can be used with counter fairies, summoning Guiding Ariadne or something like that, being in the graveyard for Archlord Krystia later.

By being a fairy, I guess. I was probably going more for agents, but Ariadne was the only Pendulum Fairy I could think of that it would have synergy with.

Though, as this is capable of Summoning any Pendulum Monster, I figured this could go with almost any Pendulum Deck.

Probably. You could play it in Qliphort to make level 6, 7, or 9 plays. I believe there's an FTK with Cloudcastle. 

 

You could also use it on an Xyz or Synchro Pendulum Monster to Special Summon it back to the field without negating its effects or destroying it during the End Phase.

So long as it was only 1 in your Pendulum Zone. Otherwise you can't Special Summon anything other than "Qli".

The simplistic (bull, there's no shame in simplicity) brevity of the effect makes me smile. Bringing out a Pendulum for free upon summoning is something Odd-Eyes Meteorburst can only aspire to-and you know what plays that opens in D.D.s.

 

Which is what brings me to the thing this will most likely enhance another Level: Synchro Monsters.

 

D.D.s run this, they get an easier pipeline to Siegfried and Cloudcastle. Magician Pendulums can laugh all the way to the Enlightenment/Nirvana High Paladin's bank, cause they're +1 for days! And lets not pretend anything with a Dracoslayer or a Wizard in it won't be cackling like crazy. Hell, I'd run this with Metalphosis (oh yeah, btw, that's the Deck I've invested in for this cycle) and sit pretty! Not like I'm impartial to another thing for One for One to bring out besides the Box of Friends. 

 

Rambling, sorry, moving on.

 

Anyways, bringing out Pendulums is good, bringing out Level 1s and Pendulums to work into Synchros and Xyz Summons is better, and doing it upon its own summon is phenomenal. Curious Etoile just reinvigorated my love of the succinct. Plus. That picture. Freya's met her match.

Thank you! I wanted to see more Synchro plays, as the game is pretty vapid with nothing but Xyz plays more than half the time.
