Phantom Roxas
This card is possibly the only perfect counter against Dark Armed Dragon. Thoughts?
Guest Chaos Pudding
We already had a discussion on the matter, and have decided that PMD is far too slow to effectively counter DAD consistently. http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/showthread.php?tid=34740 Search moar. Exiro
And even if you get him out before DAD, DAD will still destroy PMD. Why? DAD can use his effect more times than the number of cards you have in your hand, most of the time.

The Dark One
DAD can run him over though, so the point is moot.
Cyber Altair
This card was originally created as a counter for DAD but it isn't effective, Dragons *Light* aren't quick, Dark monsters have support to make them quick. Also DAD can kill this easily. it will come out before you even realise that the duel has started.
Phantom Roxas
Okay, read the last effect. "When a card's effect to destroy a monster(s) is activated, you can send 1 card from your hand to the graveyard to negate its activation and destroy the card." This means that when DAD activates his effect, you can use this card's effect so DAD DOESN'T kill it and DAD is killed instead. Now, if you're talking about in battle, then yeah, PMD is screwed. Why yes, as a pro DAD player, I think I will attempt to use DAD's effect to kill Prime Material Dragon, instead of just clearing the backfield and then attacking it and killing it. It's a pro move. Phantom Roxas
Hey, I said you can attack it in battle. Does anyone really need to say that you should make sure the backfield is cleared?

Orochi
It creates an infinite loop. no, it doesn't... a non-oficial ruling (but posted on UDE's judge forum in spanish)... when one of the effects activates, the other activates in response (remember, continous effects don't start chains), and that action cannot be continued by the same cards... example: player activates "rain of mercy"- simochi activates and turns points into damage- PMD activates and turns damage into points... play resolves... player activates "ookazi"- PMD activates and turns damage into points- simochi activates and turns points into damage...play resolves... this is not official yet 'cause is still not included on official FAQs, but was posted on a judge forum, i will search the info and post it here... wilson91
I read somewhere that if an infinite loop occured, you retake the card back that caused the loop and add it to the owners hand.
tonisanoob
what happens if this card is used in conjunction with soulem judgement would it double your lp say you had 8000 or increase them by 4000
wilson91
I think it would add on 4000lp. So you would be on 12000.

That implies that there exists a DAD player that would use DAD's effect on PMD.

Also, I would never use DAD's effect on PMD, I would use DAD's effect to clear the backfield, then attack.
