Hello, fine peoples!

 

So my little bro made up this card in a fake duel and it was a concept that I'd never thought about. For clarification, "X" is just a placeholder for his archetype name as that doesn't matter in regards to its effect.

 

X Archer

EARTH *

Warrior/Effect

If you control an "X" monster, you can send this card from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "X Archer" once per turn.

Umm..... nice card. But it is in Experimental... again.

Anyways, I do not think this would work in the first place, since cards cannot resolve inside the Deck.

Try discarding it instead.

That's the whole point. It's in Experimental because there really isn't anything like it. However, there are a few cards that can activate in the deck: Serpentine Princess and Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon, just to name a couple.

Actually, there are cards that can resolve inside the deck. I forget the name, (and Google crashes when I try ti searh anything) but there was one in particular i had in one of my decks on YGOChrome that could summon itself from the deck with its own effect.

Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon / Metalzoa are some of them, but yeah there are cards that resolve in the Deck. Cannot really check at the moment either because Yugioh Wikia sucks at specific strings of text, and not on YGOPro where I have full access to said cards.
