so, my biological dad passed away. we weren't exactly on good terms, and i don't think i'll be going to the funeral.

 

either way, it's kinda shaken me up some. i feel really... closed off at the moment, except to a few people. i don't like it.

 

so i'm gonna do an AMA. original I know. But for serious questions, I plan on actually trying to put in some depth and thought into the questions.

 

Cause I really don't want to shut people out again. I don't want to go back to that.

Why is Kyoko best girl, in your opinion?

 

It's...

 

It's really difficult to explain. I'm naturally attracted to characters who have a bit... Of a sadistic streak. Something I inherited from mom, I guess. She's the same way. Kyoko starting off like that? Even if it was meant to turn people away from her, it only makes me more interested in where that character is going to go.

 

If it winds up like Sergey, where there's basically no growth, then I slowly lose interest.

 

Kyoko very clearly didn't go that route. She grew, remembered things about herself, made connections again. I'm naturally attracted to characters like her. Brash, outspoken, strong, but still... Still human. Humans want to hurt others sometimes. Or they say things to try and intimidate others. It doesn't immediately make them monsters, and I like it when fiction shows that.

Sayaka. She's a tragic, tragic character, and while it HURT so much to see her go through what she did, it was pretty well done, and I cared about her more than I cared about a lot of characters recently. Pre-movie, Homura was a close, close third. Post-movie, Homura wasn't even close.

Um... I'm set to appear offline a lot of the time, especially this past week. It's been a rough couple of months though, so my appearances on Skype have been kinda spotty, yeah.

 

The weather SUCKS. It's too hot and humid all the time, it makes going outside suck even more than it already did. >~<

 

That's a good question that I don't know the answer too! Part of the reason I always felt like I had trouble fitting in on YCM is because I didn't really share interests with most people. And even if I did share an interest, it wasn't something I was really able to talk about in detail, like some people can with card design or different TCG's or more competitive gameplay things...

That said, we wouldn't be good friends anyway. I'm the teasey kinda person, which... Judging from the Discord chat, doesn't go over well. I do that to everyone I talk to in some capacity.

I get that we are never going to be best friends. I highly doubt I'll have any sort of best friend in my life given how different my interests are. I don't look for best friends anyway for that reason, but eh.

 

And I don't like it when the primary communication is people teasing and nothing else really. I can handle it for a bit, but then I start feeling like a piece of sheet and think the other person thinks so too even if it isn't the case. I already have bad memories from 2011 as it is. When people do that, the worst tends to come out. >>
