The Nyx Avatar Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2016 Did you have a specific deck in mind when making this card?Not in particular. I wanted to make sort of a banished card variant of Salvage. Though, any thoughts on the card? Should I remove the cost altogether? Should I add anything? Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted July 23, 2016 Report Share Posted July 23, 2016 Right now, only Deck I can think of that can actually use this card effectively are Frogs and I guess Banish Fish to an extent; mostly the former. Not sure how well they can use it at present (Frogs, given the banlist and whatnot), but I guess you can retrieve banished stuff from Ronintoadin to recycle stuff. If Tidal weren't banned at this time, could also use that to retrieve stuff you banished to summon it. Otherwise, I'm not really seeing a Deck that can use this effectively; let alone something that's competitive at this time. Don't think I missed any obvious ones, but I may be wrong. dustdevil9 Posted July 24, 2016 Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 If you played a Slushy deck that could work. But as for this card maybe using it as a painful choice type card to banish and add another to your hand. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Activate 1 of the following effects:● Target up to 2 of your banished WATER monsters; add them to your hand.● Banish 1 Level 4 or lower WATER monster, and if you do, add 1 monster with the same name from your Deck to your hand. Or what did you have in mind? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Nyx Avatar Posted July 24, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 24, 2016 That would actually be fine, except where are you banishing the water monster from?From the Deck, in similar fashion as the Painful Spell Cards. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dustdevil9 Posted July 25, 2016 Report Share Posted July 25, 2016 From the Deck, in similar fashion as the Painful Spell Cards.You didn't specify that, I wanted to make sure though, but yeah the effects are fine now, you'd probably see Frogs and Mermails play this. Hell I could see some onesplay it in Cloudian's (just because it would be fun) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted July 30, 2016 Report Share Posted July 30, 2016 Well this is an incredible card in any WATER deck. It's a Painful Decision, so if you draw it early on, you get a consistency boost. But let's say you draw a 3rd copy late game when there aren't so many monsters left in your deck. Well simply add the two monsters that you banished with the other 2 copies back to your hand. Nice. Conrad.Xtopia Posted July 30, 2016 Report Share Posted July 30, 2016 Back playing lots of duel portal I found an archetype called "Koi" they can rlly do damage with this card. You can search it up by using the search here and taking a look. I think the card doesn't have enough draw back tho but that's just personal preference. Maybe instead of "up to 2" change it to exactly 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
