The cast of Power Rangers Ninja Steel was unveiled in the Power Morphicon 2016 event. 

 

The series will star:

• Will Shewfelt as Brody, Ninja Steel Red
• Peter Sudarso as Preston, Ninja Steel Blue
• Chantz Simpson as Calvin, Ninja Steel Yellow
• Chrystiane Lopes as Sarah, Ninja Steel Pink
• Zoe Robins as Hayley, Ninja Steel White 

Fun fact, Peter Sudarso is the younger brother of actor Yoshi Sudarso, who currently plays Koda aka Dino Charge Blue in Power Rangers Dino Charge and in Power Rangers Dino Super Charge. 

In addition, seen below is a look at the show's villain, Galvanax, the champion of an intergalactic game show "Galaxy Warriors" and sends his best warrior contestants to Earth to steal the mythical Power Stars. Lastly, seen below is the show's teaser trailer as seen in this year's Power Morphicon.

 

Stopping Galvanax and his warriors are a new team of Power Rangers with mystical ninja powers and equipped with weapons and Zords made of legendary Ninja Steel. They are the Power Rangers Ninja Steel!

Long-time Power Rangers producer and current Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge producer Judd "Chip" Lynn returns as this show's executive producer. The series is set for a 2017 premiere on Nickelodeon.

It looks like we'll be getting 2 black actors on a single team for the first time.

 

It seems since Dino Charge, white actors have been pushed to the background somewhat in favor of putting POC (of which 5 out of the 10 rangers this season are) in the spotlight, which is a nice, subtle change.

 

Also, the toys look awesome.

To those who didn't know, the Yellow Ranger was recasted during filming. Not sure what the reason is, but remember that the Thuy Trang was actually a recast for Audry DuBois who filmed the pilot with the other castmembers.

The guy, Nico Greetham, was actually part of So You Think You Can Dance Season 10, so it's interesting to see somewhat from the mainstream be cast.

Really weird seeing Galvanax have so much attention since his sentai counter part didn't even show up until the last 5 episodes or so. Thank you original footage for maybe salvaging a pretty bad main village. Lynn staying around has me hopeful since Ninnin was a pretty weak series.

 

Side from that weird seeing the trailer showcase stuff that they won't be getting until half way or so into the shows run.

 

Personally, I just want the show to keep the 6th morpher.
