Based off that E3 trailer, I'm extremely hyped for this game, course I'm impartial cause I love the whole Tekken series. This is a post where we can talk about everything new, old, what we like, what we don't like, what we want to see, what should be left out and everything else. I'll post what Katsuhiro Harada said the story of the game is about and I'll also post the characters, new and old, as well as pictures of their looks cause some of them have changed since Tekken 6.

Will be released Worldwide early 2017 on PS4, XBox One and PC

[spoiler=Story According to Harada]

The game will serve as the last chapter of the Mishima clan saga. It will apparently answer why Heihachi is trying to kill his grandson Jin, why Heihachi threw his son Kazuya off a cliff when he was a child and the origins of the Devil Gene, among other Tekken mysteries. Katsuhiro Harada also said that the game's story will be much darker than ever before.

[spoiler=Alisa Bosconovitch]

Biography

Deep in the forests of Russia is a heavily guarded research facility, the Bosconovich Laboratory. This facility was highly valued by the Mishima Zaibatsu as a hub for the organization's military equipment development.

The lowest level of the Bosconovich Lab houses a top-secret area in which a young girl was found sleeping in a clear capsule. Her name was Alisa Bosconovich, her surname an homage to the Lab's founder and the facility's mysterious effects on her development. There are no other details on her...

[spoiler=Bob]

Biography

Bob had always been very serious about his training. He was hailed as a master of martial arts from a very young age, and he garnered many fans with his chiseled body and good looks. However, he could not defeat opponents who were larger than him. He vanished from the martial arts scene and dedicated himself to a special training regimen that increased his power and weight while maintaining his agility.

After several years in seclusion, Bob returned to the fighting world a changed man.

Those who know Bob were astonished by his transformation. His handsome looks were gone and he gained a disproportionate amount of weight. Bob paid no attention to his critics, and relied on the benefits of his training: speed, power and unyielding weight. He decided that he was ready to return to competition; he joined The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to test his martial arts abilities once again.

After the Tournament, Feng spent his days traveling the globe and fighting against warriors of various martial arts styles. One day he heard rumors of The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. Seeking to expand his power, he headed for Japan to join the competition once again.

The Mishima Zaibatsu swept across the globe, taking over nation after nation. But as the war continued, new opposing forces slowly began to show their presence. Jin learned that Kazuya Mishima was controlling the first and most powerful opposition, the G Corporation. When the G Corporation put a price on his head, Jin announced The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, as if he had been waiting the G Corporation to make its move.

At this point, the G Corporation was praised by the nations of the world for its heroic actions.

When the G Corporation's public influence had become great enough, Kazuya used it to announce a hefty bounty for anyone who could capture Jin alive. In reply, the Mishima Zaibatsu announced The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6. This was just as Kazuya had predicted, and it put a satisfied smile on his face.

[spoiler=Lars Alexandersson]

Biography

The Mishima Zaibatsu started a war against the world. The rise of the G Corporation opposition resulted in a global trail of carnage. In the fray, a large portion of the Zaibatsu's special military unit, the Tekken Force, defected from the organization.

Lars Alexandersson led the coup d'tat and became a ranking officer in the Tekken Force at a fairly young age due, in part, to his renowned physical and mental ability. Despite this high rank, Lars often fought on the front lines, which made him quite popular among his subordinates.

Only he knew the fact that he drew the Mishima bloodline through his father, Heihachi. Even Heihachi was not aware of this piece of information.

He secretly arranged an investigation into the changes that had occurred within the G Corporation and discovered that Kazuya was at the helm, behind the scenes. Upon learning that Kazuya would participate in The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, Lee used his G Corporation stockholder's complementary ticket to enter the tournament to get closer to Kazuya.

During Leo's own investigation, the G Corporation's Kazuya Mishima materialized as a person of interest. The G Corporation was popularized at the time as a world hero, making it difficult to get close to Kazuya, and it looked as though Leo's quest had reached an insurmountable impasse. It was at this time that news of the Mishima Zaibatsu-sponsored The King of Iron Fist Tournament began to spread. Leo learned that Kazuya Mishima was scheduled to appear in person at the event. Realizing that this may be the only chance to take revenge against Kazuya, Leo decided to enter the contest.

Never seen Tekken b4. Got a few questions.

1. Why is there no personality descriptions? Are they just not out yet? If they are you could at least put them out.

2. Is King's head oddity a natural part of him or just something he wears? (Personally cant tell)

3. Isnt really a question, but something you point out. You forgot the [ in the [ /img ] bracket for Ling's TK7 pic.

4. What is the theme with Lucky Chole? Detailed idea of what it is is a bit vague.

5. Most of all (the above ones were really nitpicks) what kind of a game is this in terms of gameplay? Would you reccomend it to me given that it's not rated M or higher?

1. I will add the ones I can, the new ones probably won't be up until closer to the game's release.

2. King's head is just a mask

3. Thank you, fixed it

4. By theme, you mean like Fighting Style? if so, it's a "Freestyle Dance" fighting style

5. It's a fighting game, and it's normally rated T. If you've played Street Fighter (where Akuma is from) it's essentially that but it's based around a tournament called King of the Iron Fist. It's a very intriguing game series, Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, of which the majority of the returning characters were in, are among the greatest video games of all time. The series as a whole is the best selling fighting game series of all time, even better than MK and Street Fighter.

Yeah, something like that, but I also meant the appearance theme. (What's the appearance theme really? (Felt like Elder Goran didn't get that part I was trying to convey so I'm editing it in)) :P I guess I'm not an expert at first glancing

most I can say is that they've definitely made Alisa and Dragunov feel better to use, and all the Mishimas are as good as ever. Alisa's new d+3 finisher ties in nicely with the new screw mechanic, allowing you to follow up any screw attack (d+4, 1+2/b+2, 4) with d+3 into backup+1. Dragunov has insane combo potential as Nobi shows in EVO15 vs Saint and his rage drive is actually the best thing. just remember that you can't 4, 3B! -> f+3,df anymore, use b+3, 4 in place of 4, 3.
