It's an okay Xyz Monster. Not necessarily something Spellcasters would want or could use, though. I think you could make its materials generic (2 Level 4 monsters, as opposed to 2 Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters), as the extent of its effect is destruction protection, and it limits you to control only one. Plus, a Life Point gain of 1000 won't give you too much advantage or hurt your opponent.

 

Quick fixes to the text:

 

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; gain 1000 LP. Once per turn, during either players turn, if a monster you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect: You can discard 1 card; it is not destroyed. You can only control 1 face-up "Nurse Magician".

What happens if your opponent plays Raigeki? Do you discard a card for each one of those monsters? Or do you discard only 1 to save them all?
