Flash Flyer - Sakura
Moved to Casual Singles because a Ritual Spell / Monster are treated as a single card; there's some exceptions to the 2+ card rule that I did state in the rulebook if you looked. Call of General WinterThis card is used to Ritual Summon "Ivan Braginski: The Smiling Demon". You must Tribute all monsters from your hand (min. 1). Ivan Braginski: The Smiling Demon You can Ritual Summon this card with "Call of General Winter". This monster's ATK and DEF is equal to the combined original ATK and DEF of the Tributed monsters used to Ritual Summon this card. -----To be fair, the Ritual Spell does break several conventions; namely the fact that the Tributed monsters do not have to equal or exceed 12, but rather that all monsters you have in hand need to be Tributed. Other than that, it's just a generic Ritual Spell. The monster itself can go two ways; either you have powerful monsters that can be Tributed and this becomes a literal beatstick, or you get a low powered monster. I want to say change the Ritual requirements to require at least 12 Levels or more and allow monsters you control, which would require you to devote more effort (and chances are that you'll have enough), but give you more options. However, the Ritual itself is just that; a beatstick. This is one of your first cards, yes, but right now, it's an old-style Ritual Monster. Sleepy
I agree that the conditions to Ritual Summon are a bit awkward. For one, I wonder if you'd need to reveal all your hand to prove that you indeed Tributed all the monsters you had.You can make it a conventional Ritual in terms of requirements and just make it so that it only gains the ATK of the Tributes that were used from the hand. That way you have the same effect but with a bit more options. After that, it'd be good to weight out the possibilities between making it require exact Levels or the option to go past the exact Levels (example: that total 12 or more). Then you could give it pretty much any Level accordingly. Examples of combinations of what I mean are along the lines of: - A Level 1 monster that requires a total Tribute Level of 1 or more. So you'd be able to Tribute as much or as little as you want with no limits.- A Level 12 monster that requires a total Tribute of exactly 12. So you'd be able to use quite a bit, but it'd have a natural cap to its potential.- A Level 6 that requires a total Tribute of exactly 6. So you would have a low-ish Level monster and therefore a cap to its Tributes, but you could make it up by going the same route as the card "Great Maju Garzet" that actually doubles the amount of the Tribute used. Or some other perks like that.-A Level 12 monster that requires a total Tribute of 12 or more. So you would again have no cap and it wouldn't need to be too precise on its Tributes, but it'd still require an expensive minimum of 12. ^Though just gaining ATK is a little bit bland, so if you wanted to give it another use, the above can help it measure up appropriately. Right about now let's see... Trying to think on flavor. He is a cold feared assassin. inciting fear in the hearts of his enemies because of the history he carries behind him, making him a demonic-ranked legend that his enemies despair on.His reputation as a killer is its victims AKA Ritual Tributes, which gave him experience that made him stronger.I have an idea but it might be a bit overpowered. I hope somebody will call on to me if it is too outlandish. Here comes. Call of General Winter[Ritual Spell]You can discard 1 card, then, your opponent must reveal monsters from their Extra Deck (their choice) with an exact total Level/Rank of 12, and if they do, use them as Tributes for the Ritual Summon of "Ivan Braginski: The Smiling Demon". If they cannot, you can Tribute monsters from your hand/field with an exact total Level of 12 instead. If "Ivan Braginski: The Smiling Demon" was Ritual Summoned by this card: It gains the ATK and DEF of 1 of its Tributes. Ivan Braginski: The Smiling DemonWATER Level 12 [Fiend/Ritual/Effect] ?/?You can Ritual Summon this card with "Call of General Winter". This card gains the ATK and DEF of 1 of its Tributes. If this card would be destroyed, you can shuffle 1 Ritual Spell Card from any Graveyard into the Deck instead. ^Now he only gains the ATK of 2 monsters used, but it can gain the ATK of the same Tribute used twice (1 for his own, and 1 for the Spell) essentially doubling it. It also can protect himself a little bit. And finally, the usage of your opponent's Extra Deck to dodge the cost of Levels for its Ritual Summon. This can blow up in your face if your opponent has an Extra Deck monster that floats or wants in the Graveyard, be little more than a nuisance if they filled it up with Pendulums instead of the regular core Extra Deck, be impossible if your opponent runs no Extra Deck, or be impossible from your opponent not running any Extra Deck combinations that add up to exactly 12. Plus, it is their choice on what they offer to you. Treat this as an assassination upon entrance. The protection is also meant to laugh at opponents using Ritual Spells that do something in the Graveyard, like Machine Angel Ritual which protects monsters if banished. Or it can be just used to recycle your spell. It's just a suggestion, and an example of what you can do with this idea. Good luck~
