Guest BGMCANN0N
Artifact Armory[Field Spell] When this card is activated: Add 1 "Artifact" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once, during your opponent's turn: You can destroy 1 Set Card you control in your Spell & Trap Zones. You can only activate 1 "Artifact Armory" per turn. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Artifact
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Artifacts needed a searcher to find stuff they want, and this does just that. Also alleviates the need to run stuff like Double Cyclone / Twin Twisters or even waste your own MST on blowing up your own stuff. Haven't tested Artifacts for a while (well, at least since they got Vajra), but this does a lot of things that I've found them to be lacking in at times. Don't know if this will push them to competitive status again, but it definitely helps them.
The Nyx Avatar
Being a Field Spell, it's a Terraforming target, so it'd be easy to use this in a Hand Artifact Traptrix Deck, or perhaps a pure Artifact Deck. It's capable of setting up Morraltach and Scythe plays fairly easily. A little too easily, as you just add and wait next turn to make plays. In fact, this card's reminiscent of The Hidden City, as not only does it add upon activation, but it makes Subterror plays as well (flipping them face-up to trigger their FLIP effects). Was that card an inspiration for this card?

(yeah I played the Deck and got frustrated with a few starting hands I got) So the inspiration was more based on their general needs, than anything, but yeah I guess you could say the modern day Field Spell trend (search when activated, then does things that help the archetype directly) kind of played a role there.
