The Killer 687
Continuous Spell CardOnce per turn, you can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by revealing the Fusion Materials in your hand and/or by having them in your possession (Reveal the face-down Fusion Material monsters). You lose 800 LP for each Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of "Temporal Fusion" once per turn. Yes, this card allows you to Fusion Summon without sending the monsters to the Graveyard. Sleepy
It sounds powerful but it costs a lot of LP, it doesn't have any support like regular Polymerization does, and it blocks the monster in the future for the rest of the duel. Plus there are monsters that actually wanna be used as materials or at the very least touch the Graveyard. In that sense, this card is actually not as powerful as it tries to sell itself as. Yes it is a good +0 boss drop, but I think it doesn't deserve the eternal block for the monsters it's brought out once. Rather, it'd be fine without the "once per duel" bits and without the LP cost, and rather just put on a once per turn restriction (the hard OPT one) and it'd be fine. I don't think the Fusion is treated as actually having used those materials so even something like Frightfur Tiger/Wolf wouldn't really abuse this card. It has some pretty amusing plays but I don't think it'd break the game right now."Temporal" kind of implies something time-related, like a Fusion that comes out with a delay (like Future Fusion did) or that only stays on the field for a limited time (like Neos Fusions or Flash Fusion did.... but maybe not as bad). "Once per Duel" just implied it won't come back, but while it is on, it is not really a given that it'll go away to begin with.... so that as the flavor is iffy. I like the concept overall though.
