Tuning Magician

Recommended Posts

Well, it is still reliant on Magician Scales and thus inferior to the "1-card" Startime Magician card (which would be its evolved form).

Then again ... you do raise an interesting point, considering pure Magicians do not like Noble Dragon Magician all too much, so this is clearly the best mill (outside of milling the last Magician to complete Zarc), on top of that it is an easy way for Crystal Wing access.

You would definitely be right about it being rather interesting/ at the very least worth testing (though I propably would not, due to my ridiculous fixation on consistency).

Edit: It also allows rather easy Trishula access, considering the new magician's focus on level 4.

V-HERO Vyon? How? Can you please elaborate on that? I mean, sure, I could look it up myself, but after quick searches I have not found anything about plays with Vyon and this, while you already have the answer, so... yeah, would be nice to discuss about that.

NS/PS V-HERO Vyon

Pitch E-HERO Shadow Mist

Search D-HERO Malicious

Vyon, banish Mist, search Polymerization

Poly Mali + ??? Dark (prob. Vyon) into D-HERO Deadlyguy.

Malicious becomes anotehr copy.

Mali + Deadly = Beatrice

Beatrice, detach 1, send ??? (Plague, Tuning Magician, etc.).

1-card Beatrice wheeee

why would you compare this to tune magician other than being the same character =x

I mean, you'll play Nobledragon because it's an easy way to access Meteorburst, who is an insanely good card, and it synergizes well with this, to go into Omega/Crystal Wing. Omega is more relevant early on.

I've been testing, and it's definitely a good option to have. Not like you have any ways to further increase consistency, anyway, and ygo isn't about absurd consistency atm.

So it's a combo with HEROes finishing in milling this card, rather than it getting involved in a combo with Vyon. Thank you.

You named it, also both are tuners for the archtype.

True, however right now I was talking about Magicians without Odd-Eyes monsters, though I do agree on Meteorburst being amazing (preventing any kind of protection and/or floating).

I do enjoy consistency more than I should, so I was never stating it to be a relevant/sane reason not to play this.

And...?

If you changed the art on one of them, there'd be absolutely nothing to compare. Level 4 Pendulum Tuner that only works with Pendulum "Magicians" vs. Level 1 Tuner that works by reviving or comign down from proper scales.

Not even remotely.

I'm not running any Odd-Eyes bar Meteorburst and meme tech Vortex. Meteorburst is just a generally good card.

I was refering to them being tuners for the same archtype (and one being the pendulumfied form of the other one), which eventually leads to the being compared, even if they are doing completely different things.

I did state it is an amazing card, in fact I was refering to Noble Dragon Magician losing most of its value if one does not play main deck Odd-Eyes monsters.
