Effect: Discard a certain number of cards from your hand to the graveyard, then banish the same number of discarded cards from the Graveyard or the Field of both players. The Banished Cards from your Field or Graveyard can return to your Deck paying 700 Life Points for each one, then your Deck is shuffled.

Hope you enjoy and say me if this card need to be added another thing ;3

  • IMO, very unbalanced. The option "from the Field or Graveyard" allows you to basically banish e.g. some spells from your graveyard of which you have no hope to get them back, anyway, but banish all of your opponent's monsters and/or Spell/Trap cards, ergo destroying their whole setup while just "emptying your trash".

To this adds that there is no limitation how often you can use the effect: Discarding any card and banishing anything from your graveyard is a relatively low cost for killing anything that gets in your way, over and over again (also, you could theoretically just banish the cards you've just discarded, and thus never have not enough cards to banish in your graveyard).

I guess you posted him in Experimental because he has two types. Is there any specific reason for that?

You can discard any number of cards; banish as many cards as possible from the field and Graveyard of both players, up to the number of cards discarded each. Each card banish by this effect can be returned to the Deck instead by having its owner pay 700 LP for each.

Probably still flawed, but that's some somewhat fixed up card grammar.

Any reason for it to be Spellcaster/Warrior? For coolsies? Card in Yugioh only have 1 base type, even if an effect gives them another type, but considering this is a single there seems to be no real reason for it have that experimental property.

But yeah, first effect having no OPT hurts, basically allowing you to either discard 1 card at a time or do it all at once. It doesn't target, so your opponent doesn't know what you are going to banish, and you choose the cards, so you could only banish cards from your Graveyard or only banish cards from your opponent's side of the field.

What were you intending when you made this card? I'm sure it can be improved on.

Just to be clear, thread was moved because of the dual Type thing. As Dova already mentioned, actual cards only have 1 printed Type; if you want it to have another one, you need to make that a separate effect.

In a nutshell, card is technically a more effort / payout version of Soul Release (remember this one?). If it just hit the Graveyard, then it's outclassed by Release, but here, it hits the field as well. In a way, this is similar to Brionac's bouncing but damages the opponent more; reminder that Brio is currently banned.
