Pendulum Effect:

You can only use the Pendulum Effect of “Zefratorah Grammaton” once per turn.

(1) During your Main Phase: You can take 1 “Zefra” Pendulum Monster in your Deck, and add it to your Extra Deck face-up, also this card’s Pendulum Scale becomes the same as that monster’s Pendulum Scale, until the end of this turn.

Monster Effect:

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (face-up from your Extra Deck) by Tributing all monsters you control, including at least 1 “Zefra” monster and at least 3 monsters total, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.

(1) During the turn this card is Special Summoned, you can Pendulum Summon only “Zefra” monsters, in addition to your Pendulum Summon per turn.

(2) Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster; Special Summon 1 “Zefra” monster from your Deck.

 

ADDITIONAL PENDULUM SUMMONING IS NOW A THING.

 

I always liked the lore and concept of Zefra but the lack of an "end goal" kind of made the deck unattractive to me. This along with the gazillion searchers they have won me over.

This and BIGGEST CORE MK-3 jumped out to me as far as "Damn, Konami is really trying to fix mistakes" when it came to the spoilers. I'm expecting the art to be magnificent.

 

The fact that in theory you can summon 3 of these in the same turn is hilarious (There's no hard OPT on the monster effect at all).

This is actually amazing. Variable scale, loads the Extra Deck, extra pendulum summons (probably summoning the monsters tributed to summon it) and Special Summons monsters from the deck, all in one stone cold, level 11 package.

Extra Pendulum Summoning is now something future cards can make use of. It's unlikely this will make a big splash, but its mere existence opens up many future opportunities.

After this, I'm really curious on what the heck Konami planned, and is planning, with Zefras. I mean, first they start with unimpressive members, with a few exceptions in Zefraniu and the Zefratellars to a certain extent, Then they give it generic-ish bland cards like a second searcher and Celestial Crusade. Now out the sudden they get this big monster that turned double Pendulum Summoning into a thing.

 

Flavor-wise...

 

I have no idea. From the name I thought it would be the Sacred Tree/Sephirot turned into a monster, but after looking at the artwork, it actually appears to be Shaddoll Zefracore in dragon form, and retaining its Rock type. How?

no restrictions on the scale makes me wanna award it the "literally only good zefra card" (searchers = extra copies of card) award

 

it does more than compensate as 2/3 pendulum summon requirements are fulfilled and you can always turn to yo bois metalfoes and zoodiacs to place it in the extra / grab other scales

 

im not familiar with zefra comboz but its likely they achievable now that this card exist

Can only control one though. You have to Tribute the one you have out to summon a new one.

There's a "you can only gain this once per turn" on the pendulum summon.

 

Also, implication is that this is Gem-Knight Lapis + Core + Shurit + I believe Exciton

Oh...my...god. This card is just the most silly thing I have seen all day. The fact that you basically aren't paying anything since you can just bring those monsters right back again is bloody amazing. The first effect also provides you with a lot of options, and makes it so it can have the scale you need at any time, so that's nice, and since it doesn't have the annoying restrictions, you could potentially put two of these up and just use the effect and be able to Pendulum Summon whatever you want.

It's subtley stronger than Infernoid Tierra.

Looks like they're finally fighting back.

 

To be fair though, their boss monster is Sophia, it's just that no one would ever be able to summon her because the deck concept is to take 5 different themes that have almost no overlap and mashing them together.
