Caleb felt like a dog being taken on a walk. But not just any walk. One of those let's-get-ready-for-a-marathon kinda walks. The young art student Noreen had energy to compete with the Leviathan children. She wanted to show the wonderdog everything she could of the city. All along the way she'd take pictures at random times. Getting onto a bus? Perfect dynamic shot from the back. Riding the bus? Great, he'd just stick his face out the window like all dogs love to and she'd sit in front of him and take pictures. So a camera almost got dropped out the side of a moving vehicle. This was an adventure for the perfect photo.

It was 5 PM, the evening fresh and everywhere left to go. So to start the duo went to a park. Where better for a dog to be? Noreen had Caleb run around and even tried to get him to catch a frisbee, all the while she took pictures of varying quality and focus. Tired after a respectable number of laps around the park, the security dog came and nearly collapsed at the girl's feet. "Maybe..." he said through heavy breath and panting, "Maybe we can try something else." he said. The girl looked incredibly concerned for a moment but then lit up. "Of course! I have at least half a dozen ideas at the ready." she proclaimed. The dog groaned as he followed his photographer away from the park to the corner of a street.

From what seemed like no where the girl produced a sign. "Hug the dog, free. Pictures." it said. It wasn't long before Noreen started calling out to all passerby advertising the deal she had going. Several children urged their parents to let them do it. Caleb wriggled around as various children and even some adults came to hug him and take pictures with him. One man in particular lifted him up and held him outward to the camera. Noreen took a picture and sold a copy to the man as she had the others before. "This one's perfect!" she exclaimed as she put the sign down with no one else stopping by. She showed the camera to the dog to show the most recent photo. "It gets all of you in a shot but not in some mean defensive pose. Really plays up the cute factor." she said smiling. Caleb looked at the picture again and gasped and then firmly denied the proposal. "No we're not turning that in." he said. "Why noooooooot? It's so good." she moaned in response. "You can see everything! That's indecent!" he said in protest to the display of his doghood. "Aw c'mon it can't bother you that much. You'd wear pants if it did." she said and booped him on the nose to which she quickly apologized and agreed that he was right and they'd get another shot. The dog let out a sigh and continued following the girl.

The girl's enthusiasm and pestering for various poses aside, Caleb was really enjoying exploring the city. They'd spent about two hours wandering around on foot getting various shots at various locales. A grumble of stomachs in unison determined it was time for dinner to which Noreen insisted on a place she loved and said she would treat her new friend to. No longer having the energy to debate with the girl, the dog agreed. And so the two arrived at Neato Burrito. A puzzled look occupied the dog's face as they entered and as the girl ordered two of her favorite. The two were seated in a booth and talked a bit more as they awaited their food. Noreen reviewed the day's efforts and cycled through what seemed like an endless number of photos of the dog. She debated aloud which side was best to show, what pose was best for the purpose of decorating the arena and other such things. When the food came she took a picture of it with her phone interestingly enough and not her camera. To Caleb it seemed like a normal enough burrito and as he dug in it proved to be pretty tasty. Better than the generic food he had purchased for the day. Maybe the excursion was worth it.

The two left the restaurant after finishing their meal and waited at a bus stop like the one they'd taken on the way out. The night seemed oddly calm now that they weren't running around taking pictures. They'd be parting ways here once their separate buses came. The girl turned to the dog with a nervous expression on her face. "Hey uhh.. thanks for letting me do this. I was really pushy about it and I'm sorry. I just reaaaallllly needed to be the one to do this." she said as she offered a hand. Caleb placed a paw in the girl's hand and let her shake it. "No problem." he said calmly trying to avoid saying anything about how much trouble she'd been. "I'll swing by the arena tomorrow morning to turn in the finished product. Meet me at the reception desk first thing in the morning!" she said excitedly. At that her bus arrived and off she went leaving the dog behind. His bus arrived shortly after and after a short ride he was back at the arena on the way to his room.

It was nearly 8 pm now but he felt exhaust from the last three hours. He made it to the hallway to the elevator that would take him to his room's floor but that was as far as it went for the moment. The dog stopped walking and all at once sort of collapsed onto his side leaning up against the wall. He stretched and yawned a lot telling himself he really needed to get up and go to his room but it couldn't hurt to just lie here for a few moments.

4:30 PM

"Yes." The man spoke extremely slowly. Cyanthrax internally face palmed - he had only been here for a few seconds and he already knew this was gonna be a long day. "That is me...Art takes time. If you want to do this you can not rush me....Do you have any ideas for what you want? Tell me them...slowly. All the details." His sentence felt like it took an eternity. The demon almost felt like simply walking out the door in the middle of the director's speech, but it would be a waste to leave after coming here. Plus, he needed the points. "Isn't that you're job!?" He was clearly annoyed with the whole situation. "I n-"

"You know what, never mind. Let's just get this over with." The demon cut him off before he had to listen to another slow sentence. This really was gonna be a long day. "Give me a second to think about this, although that's probably not a problem with you, huh?" He snickered before grabbing the nearest paper and writing utensil he could fine. He really didn't have anything in mind specifically, nor did he know how to articulate his ideas onto words. Instead, he started drawing what he had in mind in a storyboard like-fashion.

5:15 PM

"Well well! Not to toot my own horn, but I am good at this!" He held up his storyboard proudly, as if it was a work of art. While it wasn't awful by any stretch of the imagination, it wasn't anything really special. Still, it was clear that he was proud of what he had done. Taking another look through his own art, he started making his way to the director. "Damn I'm good." He let a hearty chuckle as he turned in his storyboard to the director. Very slowly, he took a deep, analytically look at each drawing. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot who I'm working with..." He said sarcastically, taking a seat again. He place his head on top of his right hand, glaring at the director who seemed to be lost in his own little world.

"Come over here for a sec" The director spoke, as slowly as ever. "Finally! So we can get a start on-" As he got up, the director started nodding his head. "Not quite" He got up, turning back in the storyboard. "Whaddya mean!? YOU HAVE WHAT I WANT, LET'S GO DO IT!" Cyanthrax glared at the director with a look of pure hate. "Don't be so hasty!" The demon growled as the director scolded him. "While I do see the general idea of what you want...these drawings are, as one might say, insufficient in providing the necessary detail I require."

"While I don't think I need you to redraw anything, I would like it if you answered some of my questions. Just to iron out some of the details. It's important to make sure everything is just right." Cyanthrax swiped the drawings from the directors hands, before making his way to the chairs. "Tch. Whatever..." The director nodded, before making his way towards the table. "Before we start, I would like to ask you to get rid of that attitude. I'm working as fast as I can, you know." Cyanthrax nearly broke the table with his grip, leaving notable dents on the metal table.

6:45 PM

"Alright, I can see the commercial in my mind." The director stood up from his chair with the storyboard, which was now covered in notes, in his hand. "FINALLY!" Cyanthrax shouted, bolting up and stretching. "Let's get to work then."

It was finally time to shoot the actual commercial. Little did Cyanthrax know, however, that the worst of the slowness had only begun. Not only was the director one of the slowest speakers that Cyanthrax had ever met, but he was also a bit of a perfectionist. Even simple scenes took what felt like an eternity, as every little detail had to be just right to the director. While the slow pace was infuriating, Cyanthrax was surprisingly relaxed about the whole situation, mainly because he was too busy being blown away by the hologram technology they used for the commercials. All of it almost felt real to him.

The commercial started with him walking out of the burning bar, his blazing sword in one hand and a large cup of ale in the other. The landscape outside of the bar resemble a normal town in the middle of an apocalypse - hell fire was raining down from the sky, and the ground around him was cracking open. Hellish creatures wandered the landscape, attacking the few people that were there. Cyanthrax, of course, was nonchalant about the whole situation, taking a swing from his cup before tossing it onto the ground. He was walking towards the camera slowly, a wide grin on his face.

Suddenly, a group of imps started running towards him from the background, pitchforks in their tiny little hands. Without turning to them, he summoned a set of tiny fireballs around his sword, launching them at the tiny demons behind him. The only thing left of the small critters were burn marking on the floor. Finally, Cyanthrax made it to the camera. He kicked it down, towering above it. His sword was pointed right at the lens.

"The name's Cyanthrax, the Lion Sin of Pride!

These mortals can't hold a candle to my flames! I'll burn the competition to the ground!"

The commercial would end with him breathing fire down at the camera.

9:15 PM

"funking FINALLY!" The demon let out happily, cracking the bones on his neck. He checked the time on his watch. "Well fuck." He blurted out angrily, before laughing maniacally. "Quite." The director chimed in. "While I can't stand your rude demeanor, I must say that I am rather proud of how this came out. Hopefully you'll drop the attitude so we can work together on something else." Cyanthrax nodded, a smug grin on his face. "Then I'll leave the rest to you. Seeya!" He rushed out the door, making his way outside to the starry night.

Aurora

"I'm mostly just stopping here to breathe a bit after an interview. Then I'm heading back to the Arena; between fighting a dog and getting an interview, I could use a quick break when I get back myself."

Millie calmed down a bit at the girl's words, and took a drink from her coffee. It seemed she had overreacted a bit. This fighter seemed to be a lot more relaxed than many others she had met. She glanced out at the street, watching as people passed by, all in a hurry to get to wherever they were going. It made her glad to be here. She wasn't fond of that hustle and bustle.

Name's Aurora by the way. I'm fighting at the Arena. How about you?"

"Ah." Millie glanced at the outstretched hand. She took it gingerly for a brief moment before letting go and placing her hands on her knees afterwards. "I'm Millie, um, I work at the Arena's bar...As a waitress. I already know who you are. The staff were all told your names. We're supposed to help you whenever you ask." She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. She certainly wasn't doing a good job at that so far.

Tesability

"Yahoo! We did it!" The sister went to pat Tesability on the back, pausing once she realized that there were wings in the way. "Ya know it's pretty cool of you to come down here so early. Lot of the past fighters took some time to actually get out and about."

"But they did eventually get used to things here." The brother pointed out.

Sara shrugged. "Still, you got a fan in me Dragon-sis. Ever want another game feel free to hit me up. Here, if you ever want to contact me..." Sara raised her arm. It showed the watch that was on her wrist. It was similar to the fighters' but seemed to be much lower tech. She gave Tes her contact information and waved a goodbye, taunting her brother and gloating as they left.

The employee approached Tesability, trying not to seem annoyed. "Is that all then? Or did you want to pay for another match?"

Cyanthrax

It was night when Cyan finally finished his task. There were people about still but it was a much less hectic crowd. People just enjoying life or going home from work. There were lights everywhere he looked and the biggest businesses were still flashing their neon with pride and excitement.

Were he to go to the Arena he'd find it closed, and a notice to enter through a side door that would lead him directly to the elevator to the apartments if he so wished. It would also include a reminder not to try and enter the Arena after close.

Xia

Keeping a hand on Xia's far shoulder, Valerie led the girl out of the sports stadium. As they walked Valerie chatted idly, talking about things ranging from a TV show she watched to the weather to what each other's favorite article of clothing, shorts in her case, were.

She seemed to be glancing behind her on occasion and would sometimes suddenly take a sharp turn or quicken her pace. She also notably avoided getting too close to the Arena and instead went a round-about way.

Eventually the ended up in front of the Casino. A large and exceptionally gaudy structure that seemed to be jam packed. "Come on, Blue, this looks like an exciting place eh?" Though once inside it seemed that Valerie wasn't extremely interested in any of the games beyond playing a few.

[spoiler=OOC]People are free to wrap things up if they want but they can still do more things. Just try and talk to me about it so we can get it flowing faster. Especially you, Yui.

Also reminder to everyone to update your timeline/points in the Database

~Tesability's POV~

"Yahoo! We did it!" The sister went to pat Tesability on the back, pausing once she realized that there were wings in the way. "Ya know it's pretty cool of you to come down here so early. Lot of the past fighters took some time to actually get out and about."

"Ai getsh bowed eeshee," the dragon replied to this.

"But they did eventually get used to things here." The brother pointed out, causing her to tilt her head slightly in response.

Sara shrugged. "Still, you got a fan in me, Dragon-sis."

"Dwagun-shish," she repeated with a question in her voice, her fangs making the name sound far worse than it should be.

"Ever want another game feel free to hit me up. Here, if you ever want to contact me..." The white dots of Tesability's pitch-black eyes fell upon the watch that the girl, but obviously a far-less technologically-advanced version. It was similar to the fighters' but seemed to be much lower tech...though, to be fair, it seemed like she got the most-advanced version of all of them, considering her digital nature. Upon hearing Sara share her contact information with the NetMonster, Tesability mentally added the information to her watch's databanks and returned with a wave of her own.

The employee approached Tesability before she could fly off, trying not to seem annoyed. "Is that all then? Or did you want to pay for another match?"

"Ai gudsh naw," she replied before stretching out her four limbs and extending her wings. "Baish."

With that, she flew up and over the town, watching the city below while staying low enough to avoid being among the panic of metal, glass and other flying things above. She just flew around and explored the town around the arena, peeking around at anything that caught her attention until her stomach grumbled. Remembering the points she had left, she flew off towards anything that caught the attention of her nose to find the biggest thing she could get for seven points before going back to her room for bed.

Once she finally got back to said room, she found the padded thing she shut down on last night was covered in something new. She poked a claw into it and heard a crinkling sound from within the cloth, tilting her head one way in confusion. It was then that she noticed a note laying upon it, moving her muzzle to better see it.

"If you have another accident, this should help protect the rest of your bed as well as be easier for us to clean."

Blinking in confusion, she hopped up onto the bed before pulling her limbs underneath her like a cat to shut down until it was time to return to awareness...

"Ah. I'm Millie, um, I work at the Arena's bar...As a waitress. I already know who you are. The staff were all told your names. We're supposed to help you whenever you ask."

"Oh? Well then, nice to meetcha Millie!" Aurora returned her gloved hand to her drink. She felt a chill in the air. She'd have to finish her drink and go, before she became an inconvenience. As such, Aurora took a big sip from the drink in her hands. She had to get out of here fast, but she didn't want to just ditch somebody in the middle of the conversation. That was rude! So, Aurora reached for the trust bag at her side and...promptly realized she hadn't brought it with her when she left the Arena. Talk about unlucky. Aurora quickly downed the rest of her drink, before setting her empty bag on the table.

"I'd love to stick around and talk, but I forgot my bag in my room, and don't want to bother you during your break with...well, y'know, the cold. If we bump into each other again, we should try this again though!" With that, Aurora got up to her feet, tossing her cup into the nearest trash can before waving goodbye. "See you around, Millie." With that, Aurora made her way out of the coffee shop. She had to get back, and then...who knows?

He was greeted by a barrage of lights coming from various businesses in the city. The crowds were populated, although not nearly as much as it was during the day. Checking his watch, he noticed that it was about 9:17 PM. "Fuck. I knew he was slow, but that's ridiculous..." He muttered under his breath, before wandering around the city a bit. There were many people outside of some of the businesses, attempting to get the attention of those people around them. Cyanthrax ignored them for the most part. "Ugh, I'm totally drained...that commercial better make me bank!" He decided to go back to the Arena.

He eventually found his way to the Arena, only to find it closed. On the closed door of the arena was a note. "The Arena is now closed! Fighters, please use the side door to return to your rooms. Please do NOT try and enter the Arena when it is closed. Thank you!" Cyanthrax let out an annoyed sigh, before making his way to the said side door. Opening the door, he found an elevator that, presumingly, would lead him to where all the rooms are. He considered trying to stop at the bar, before deciding against it - he would get a drink tomorrow. All he wanted was for the day to end. Exhausted, he made his way to his room.

As the duo had continued to walk through the city, they chatted about a very many things. Whenever Valerie had brought up a subject that she would rattle on about, Xia would simply seem incredibly interested in what she was talking about and emphatically nod along. Were it a subject she also had input in, such as what her favorite clothes were, (which she of course  emphatically declared were the ones she was currently wearing,) she would respond with equal fervor and joy. While they chatted, Xia at certain points as though she had to start increasing her pace in order to keep up with the girl, though she wasn't exactly sure why that would be the case. Nevertheless, the group had eventually ended up at a building known as a Casino.

It took the girl a few moments to realize that she was the "Blue" that Valerie had been referring to, but she eventually followed in after her tennis playing friend. Once inside, the girl was in a state of awe, looking at all the different machines and tables that were around with people busily playing whatever games they did. The first thing that caught her attention was the slot machines. She watched over the shoulders of others, who were likely made uncomfortable by this, with a face filled with wonder as the slots spun and spun until stopping, showing off various symbols and making a noise that the person seemed disappointed to hear. Moving beyond those, she then went to card tables and watched as other people were playing poker, though they noticeably still had most if not all their clothing on. "Ooooh, let's go play cards Valerie. Cards are fun after all!"

While Xia had went to play cards, she seemed to be completely oblivious to the otherwise serious atmosphere and happily played along. While she spent a good deal of time at the table, Valerie seemed more partial to watch, playing very sparsely. It wasn't long though, Xia had realized the time and knew she had to get going. Saying goodbye to all of the people, especially the dealer, the girl eventually left the Casino with Valerie. Looking at the girl, she had a wide smile on her face as she said, "thanks for hanging out with me today Valerie! It was suuuuper fun, and don't worry. I'll get way better at tennis for next time! Bye bye." With a wave, the girl left the area, going back to her room and falling asleep for the night.

"Yes, yes, I heard you the first time...Oh I certainly know you'll keep calling...just...fine, very well, I'll do you this favor. Just stop calling at this ungodly hour." Mauvache canceled the call and rubbed her temples.

"I had hoped to keep her away from them for a bit longer. I should have known she'd attack this soon. So be it, I can give one of them to her, this could work out in my favor actually..."

Dawn of the Second Day (Wednesday)

The fighters would wake up and find that a light rain has started outside. It would last until a little past noon. Strangely they would find this rain even if they went to one of the lower levels. The rain wasn't cold, though the temperature was a bit chilly on this day, and it wasn't heavy enough to cause a problem.

Once more they would be greeted, upon waking up, by the maid service. However they'd be informed that this would be the last free day of it. If they wanted someone to come clean their room in the future they would have to pay up points.

Other than that the day seemed to be similar to the last. With a reminder about the various events and how to get a fight prepared.

There would be two new messages though. The first was an additional Combat Event.

Battle With An Unknown(?) Foe: Face a foe from a realm unknown to you, but, something feels...familiar about this opponent.

Price: 200 Points. Reward: 300 Points and Mystery Item

The other would be a simple request, from Mauvache. "There is someone who would like to meet with one of you. If you have done an interview already it may be best to avoid this however anyone can take this request. No points will be gained but a free meal is guaranteed afterwards." It would be a first come first serve sort of request and, as of now, entirely optional. If someone takes Mauvache up on this a location would be marked on their map to meet with someone.

The buzzing from her watch woke her up, causing the dragon to grumble a little under her maw before letting out a yawn.

The watch fed her the information for the day, such as the now-daily reminder to sign up for a random match, which she did almost immediately. Stretching her paws and wings as she limbered up, a string of other reminders entered her head, including for something with a time limit.

Something regarding a 'photo shoot', and that it had to be done within the week.

Letting loose with a grumble, she bounced off her none-too-padded bed onto the floor when a message crossed her watch, then noggin.

"There is someone who would like to meet with one of you. If you have done an interview already it may be best to avoid this however anyone can take this request. No points will be gained but a free meal is guaranteed afterwards."

Free food? She could do that.

Wings stretched out, she hopped over the heads of the cleaning crew, whom alerted her to the fact that this was the last day of free cleaning, before flying over towards the location that would soon flag on her watch after sending in the 'request' to fulfill that, going nowhere near her top speed due to the rain.

Cyanthrax woke up the next morning rather early, greeted by the light pitapat of rain coming from outside. He got up from his bed, checking his watch for the time and noticing the two messages. The first one was a new combat event that he couldn't afford to do, while the other was to meet someone for no points. "Fuck that." He cursed under his breath, stretching a bit as someone knocked on his door. Opening it, he saw a rather familiar cleaning crew. This time, however, they informed that this would be the last day they would be doing it for free - from here on out it would cost him points to clean up. He simply shrugged, before passing the two. As he made his way to the elevator, he used his watch to sign up for the random queue, as he had done the previous day.

As before, Elijah woke up earlier than he reasonably should. He was so used to making the most of his time that he woke up every morning like one of thoe dreams where you fall suddenly and wake up just as fast. Didn't he read something about that being your brain jump-starting your heart to make sure you were still alive? Yeah, on the internet somewhere.

In any case, he scattered and re-organized his stuff, upon which he found that after sleeping on it, he would indeed be doing his commercials for The Kid next. Ohh, the plans he had.

The maid service found him leaving as they arrived again, and he briefly but politely thanked them for their work and checked his watch-device. Free meal? Well if I'm skimping on food already, this couldn't hurt. Oh, but that cameraman and reporter... no, I'm gonna help the little guy before I give a boon to someone else. Today, it's commercials with Spider, a photo shoot, and a fight.

Aria

Aria let out a loud groan as her watch started beeping. Her head was pounding, her body ached, and every time the watch beeped it felt like a firetruck's siren in her ears.

"Shut the funk UP!!" Aria shouted at her watch, tapping it in frustration until, by some miracle, she managed to hit the snooze button. She squinted at the watch, the glare from the screen like staring into the sun itself. She could barely make out two items; one of which appeared to already have been taken by someone else, while the other costing... 200 points. Aria looked at her balance and only saw 105. She sat up and got a better hold of her bearings, clutching her head in pain. Looking down she noticed her general state of undress, and on the floor was Angela sleeping perhaps too soundly.

Aria groaned again, letting herself fall back down on the bed. "What the hell happened last night?" she asked, with the tone not unlike that of someone telling a doctor to rip a bandage off, and waiting for the sharp pain.

Angela took some time to relish in the light rain the moment she regained her consciousness. Last night was fun, she should try doing that again later, although she was somewhat disappointed that she didn't manage to know more of the guys she played with. Nevertheless as she cleansed her body that was starting to feel a bit too sticky and recovered her drained stamina using the Heaven's Holes, Angela wondered where she should go next- at least until she realized about the time and that Aria was still stuck in her room. She removed any thought on getting a new set of clothing for the time being, and almost immediately jet forward using Invisible Air to cover herself, dashing through the city and the portals, disregarding everything else to reach her room with the hope that the girl wouldn't be awake by the time she's there.

Thankfully, she arrived in the room with Aria still sleeping soundly, so she decided to pretend to sleep on the floor for the time being - which didn't last long as her and Aria's watches started to beep in an annoying manner, prompting Aria to wake up and yell. Well...at least she didn't arrive when Aria's already awake, so Angela was sure Aria wouldn't be too suspicious regarding her and what she did last night. Granted, that certain strong smell on Angela's barely washed body probably would raise some questions, as well as her ragged hair, but...eh, let's not think about that.

"What the hell happened last night?"

"Good morning, Aria! You drank too much alcohol during our karaoke night and vomitted a lot before passing out. I carried you here since I don't know how to enter your room with you getting knocked out." Wobbling a bit and keeping her legs closed to not let Aria see anything suspicious between them, Angela rose from her spot and went to greet the girl, a groggy smile etched on her expression.

"Also uh...you vomitted on my pile of clothing as well as yours, and I had no spares. Sorry for the indecent showing."

One of the cleaning crew appeared not long after, mentioning that it'd be the last day for free service on room cleaning. The person seemed to try their best in not looking at the scene of Aria and Angela, and so Angela decided to just say that the room's fine and there was no need to clean it, and just asked about the laundry service in the apartment instead. After getting the information, she thanked him, and the cleaning crew hurriedly left the room with a reddened face, much to Angela's amusement. She turned back to Aria again not long after.

"So, are you still dizzy from your hangover? I can carry you around if you need to. Do you need to go to the bathroom?"

With the new day having dawned upon them, Xia slowly woke up, as her arm continued to hang off the bed. In a bit of a drowsy state, the girl picked herself up, and had a bit of a start as she heard her watch deliver a message to her. Looking at it, the girl went wide eye in wonder as she saw the specifics of a new combat event being revealed. Xia didn't really understand what the text of the event actually meant, but having something new to do and someone new to fight only managed to make her feel pumped up for the day's events. Looking at the list of things she could do, Xia thought that it would be best to go and do something that didn't involve fighting first, so that she could meet more people that weren't the other fighters. But, she didn't not want to meet the other fighters as well, as the last few she met were great friends! As such, looking through the non-combat events, Xia perked up and saw one and looked to the person cleaning her room. "Hey, Ms. Cleaning Maid Lady Person," she started. "Where can I find the head maid?" Once she was told, the girl then signed up for a random battle and started to wander the halls of her building. With taking care of only the morning necessities, the girl went to where she had figured this head maid person would be.

Aria

"Good morning, Aria! You drank too much alcohol during our karaoke night and vomitted a lot before passing out. I carried you here since I don't know how to enter your room with you getting knocked out."

Aria groaned, and pushed herself into more an upright position. Something smelled... off, but Aria couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"Also uh...you vomitted on my pile of clothing as well as yours, and I had no spares. Sorry for the indecent showing."

Aria squinted in Angela's direction, and noticed her general disheveled and undress appearance. She seemed to freeze for a second, as if her brain had shut down entirely. The cleaning crew arrived and Angela turned to address them, Aria's squinting gaze still fixed on the place that Angela once stood as if nobody had moved. It wasn't long until she returned.

"So, are you still dizzy from your hangover? I can carry you around if you need to. Do you need to go to the bathroom?"

Aria blinked, as if her brain had restarted completely. Right, if something had happened between them, why would Aria still be in her underwear? Aria would've been too drunk to do anything, unless... do people dress each other after sex? None of the doujins ever showed that... Do they? Aria would need to check for certain later.

"No, i-it's fine, I can get up no problefppbfbbpf," Aria began to say, stepping out of bed and immediately landing flat on her face on the floor. The bed wasn't very high off the ground and Aria hadn't really pushed herself too much, so the fall wasn't very significant. "I can make it just fine, just give me some funking clothes so I'm not walkin' in the hall in my undies," Aria's muffled voice from the floor could be heard, as she pushed herself to her feet, teetering on the spot but managing to gain some composure.

Tesability

The Netmonster would be sent towards the North-West, a fair distance away from the Arena, and find her destination to be a several story building. It was rectangular and wasn't all too wide but it seemed large enough to house several rooms per floor.

In front of it, leaning next to the doorway, was a young woman who was munching on a banana as Tesability arrived. Once she caught sight of the draconic creature she pushed herself off the wall and approached Tes.

Pointing with the partially eaten banana, wielding it like a baton, the girl spoke. "So you're the one Ol' Mauvy sent my way, eh? I gotta say not who I'd expect to be put on the air but she always did have a weird sense of humor." The girl pointed the banana at herself. "Since you're not from around these parts I should introduce myself. I'm Julian, and this is my Radio Station. Gifted by the Big M herself. Got a sort of talk show thing going on and I wanted to get one of you fighters on it as soon as I could. So tell me, Tesability, you ready for the grilling of your life?"

Xia

"Where can I find the head maid?"

"Oh, well they're probably cleaning in the floor above this right about now, just head up and you'll find them...they'll be the one listening to music."

With the vague directions Xia would eventually find herself on the fifth floor, which was much the same as the one below, but with a key difference in that it contained another elevator that was marked to indicate it led to the rooftop.

The only one she could find cleaning was a young woman who, indeed, had headphones in their ears and was currently cleaning the hallway with a serious expressing on their face.

If Xia got their attention they'd give a start and, blushing slightly, remove the headphones. "Sorry about that I...got a little caught up in my cleaning. I'm the head maid, Camille, is there...anything I can do for you?"

All

If anyone were to pay attention to any of the many television screens throughout the city, or in the Arena itself, or browsed through news on their watches, they'd find one story stand out above the rest as noteworthy.

A group of men, mostly known drunks, vanished last night. It seemed that no one had seen sight of them after entering the bar and it was unknown if this was some sort of multi-murder, kidnapping, or if it's a case of drunken adventures gone wrong.

A woman was on the screen, speaking, in a voice that had an odd warbling tone behind it, almost robotic. A caption underneath indicated she was Officer Kate Lawson. "We of the Rama-Indri Police Force are taking this very seriously. I, that is, we, certainly won't dismiss a case just because of something like the victims being known as drunkards. If anyone has any knowledge of the whereabouts of these men please contact me, us, at the police station as soon as possible." A question was asked off-screen which caused the woman's eyes to narrow. "Yes of course we're taking it seriously...I do not know what my race has to do with....No I was not assigned as a token effort that's ridiculous...That is all I have to say on the matter, good day." The screen then cut to images of the missing men.

Wings folded in, Tesability couldn't help but tilt her head at the green-haired person talking to her. Listening to the not-hunter using terms she couldn't exactly figure out why she was using them the way she was.

"Wha'sha 'gwillen'," Tesability asked as she placed a paw to her muzzle in thought.

A moment passed before the large silver leaves that were her ears lowered and her wings slightly unfolded while she narrowed her pitch-black eyes and raised her muzzle to the girl's face after lowering her paw back onto the ground. "An' wha'cha meansh 'nawt hu yu ekspect'?"

5:00AM

Points: 72 67 57

W/L Record: 0/1

Aurora woke up, feeling much more content with the room temperature than she had the day before. She was honestly pretty impressed that it had worked as well as she expected it to, having expected to wake up feeling at least a little bit chilly. Anyone who walked in would probably be met with a blast of heat to the face though, and Aurora was met with the same feeling as she removed the blanket from on top of her and felt the heat she'd set up the day before wash over her. I won't miss this kind of feeling. It wasn't a cold feeling at all. It was warm. Hot, even. However, as the heat in the room shut down, Aurora could feel the temperature starting to climb back down to the cold she was more used to. She'd still have some time in the hotter room though.

As Aurora got dressed for the day - keeping it warm yet casual, same as yesterday - she was met with the sound of the door opening. In stepped three fairies, who Aurora guessed probably wouldn't appreciate the heat like she did. She put her Fragment actively to work a bit more, causing the temperature to quickly drop to a more normal level. There's always tomorrow for that kind of stuff too. The fairies briefly reminded her that this was the last day for free cleaning, which Aurora nodded in response to before leaving. She wanted to eat something hot to start the day off right. And getting there and getting her food was a pretty simple process. As she ate, she watched the news, and her eyes and ears fell upon a rather interesting broadcast.

"We of the Rama-Indri Police Force are taking this very seriously. I, that is, we, certainly won't dismiss a case just because of something like the victims being known as drunkards. If anyone has any knowledge of the whereabouts of these men please contact me, us, at the police station as soon as possible. Yes of course we're taking it seriously...I do not know what my race has to do with....No I was not assigned as a token effort that's ridiculous...That is all I have to say on the matter, good day."

Missing people? I can help with that I bet! Oh, Caleb would probably be good at it too, since he's a dog. But I'll do this myself.

Once her meal was finished, Aurora made to leave. She checked her watch for the map of the city, looking for the police station. As she stepped out, she noticed it was raining lightly, and there was a slight chill to the air that wasn't her doing. I don't have an umbrella. It's only a light rain, though. I'll be fine. With that, Aurora pulled the hood of her coat up over her head, and took off. There was a police service to help. A slight chill was nothing to Aurora if she kept moving. Even so, she put her gloved hands in her pockets as she took off, only pulling out the hand with the watch on it to check the map periodically to keep from getting lost.

Caleb awoke once again to a knock on his door. He was in his bed but couldn't recall walking back to his room the night before. As his brain caught up with him, he remembered picking himself up outside the elevator and eventually making his way back to his room. He'd lied down around 9 PM after looking through various random things on his watch for a bit. Now he stretched out and yawned as a member of the cleaning staff entered, informing him this was the last day his room would be cleaned free of charge for him. It wasn't Camille today but the dog still attempted to chat some with the maid. They seemed only really interested in doing their job so nothing much came of it.

With the maid's work complete, Caleb was left alone sitting up on his bed. He looked at the watch and saw first his total points now read one hundred twenty from his various activities the day before. There were two notices as well. The first a battle event with some mystery opponent. However the cost to even try it was two hundred points so Caleb skipped the rest of the details. The second was a request but said it might be best for someone who hadn't already done an interview. And so again he skipped most of the details once he saw it didn't particularly apply to him.

It was in the public showers that the security dog remembered what was waiting for him this morning. Sitting under the warm water he recalled the previous evenings events and knew Noreen would be waiting for him to turn in her masterpiece. All he had for it was a sigh as he finished doing what he could to get clean and shook the water from his fur. He went out and bought the day's basic meals for ten points then made his way to the reception desk where sure enough Noreen was waiting. "You weren't kidding about first thing in the morning were you?" the dog said greeting the girl. It was 8:30 AM and he doubted she'd done much else this morning. The girl's usual enthusiasm seemed absent and in their place were abnormally large bags under her eyes.

"You're here!" she said through a yawn. "Long night?" Caleb asked slightly concerned for the girl. "Oh I didn't sleep. Was up all night working on getting you the perfect picture... and some other stuff but mostly your picture!" she said seemingly perking up as the conversation continued. She pulled out a mobile device and after a few taps presented it to the dog. He saw a picture he recognized more from the activity involving it than the pose itself but couldn't recognize the background. He was dripping wet in it but at least he was decent in it. "This was from those silly poses you had me do in the fountain at the park isn't it? How am I in a river?" he questioned. "Thaaaaat's the magic of image editing! I made it a little more dramatic. Please tell me you like it." she said kneeling down and getting close to the dog's face. "Uh, yeah it's fine. Thanks for not showing... it, like we discussed." he replied. The girl jolted up to her feet and threw her hands up in excitement. "Thank goodness, I already turned it in for you! You have no idea how many perfectly good photos I had to toss out just to make you happy. But it all paid off." she said, clearly losing steam as she carried on. She then moved to a nearby bench and practically passed out on the spot. Caleb poked the girl to make sure she was still breathing which only elicited a mumbled "Five more minutes mom". He wasn't entirely sure it was alright to just leave her but ultimately he concluded she would be fine and would probably tackle him again if she found him.

As the dog trotted away from the desk he took note of what seemed to be a news station reporting on various things on the several television screens. Several men had gone missing without a trace. An interview with a female officer was played and she seemed to be struggling with some of the questions being posed to her. Having dealt with plenty a drunk guest at the Hotel he had several theories for what could have happened but at the same time people didn't tend to just go missing without someone having seen them, especially not in groups. It would stick in the back of his mind for the rest of the day to be sure. He took note of the rain outside as well which was a bit disappointing. He had wanted to explore more of the city but doing that on foot and in the rain seemed less than enjoyable.

"Guess I'll fight early today." he said to himself as he fiddled with his watch until he had managed to sign himself up for the random matches.

As Xia walked into the room, the head maid introduced themselves and then wondered what it was that the half-dragon girl was doing there. With her general chipper attitude, she said, "hello there Ms. Head Maid Person. I'm Xia! And I'm here because uh," she then looked to her watch, as if she were searching for the answer to the question. With her expression brightening up, shes said, "right! Help you clean stuff!"

Camille looked Xia up and down a bit. "That's, well, you're not exactly in proper dress but...erm." It seemed clear that they weren't exactly confident in directing people, which made it odd they were the head maid, but after taking a deep breath they kept speaking. "I'll need you to go door by door and ask if the occupants wish for room cleaning. If they do..." Camille stepped to the side and pressed a few buttons on a number pad. What seemed to be a closet opened up in the wall. "You can find whatever is needed to clean in here."

Xia looked  stunned for a moment before saying, "proper dress?" She looked a bit more downtrodden before saying, "but I don't really have any other clothes..." Shaking it off she then looked back to the maid and said, "but I'll do my best and clean the rooms the bestest!" Walking over to the closet, the girl then realized something. She knew that in order to clean stuff she needed to wipe stuff, wet stuff and use soap. However, the amount of things in the closet made Xia unsure if there was more to that with the whole maiding thing and thus didn't know what was important. So she figured, everything was. Steadily and surely, Xia eventually walked out of the closet, every cleaning product and tool she could carry.

Camille watched in horror as Xia walked  out carrying a pile of equipment that brushed against the ceiling. They watched as it swayed with every step. Swaying. Swaying. The pile began to tip over. As the pile tipped over and pretty much everything toppled onto the ground, Xia expression turned to both shock and horror as she had seen what it was she did wrong. Bending down, she looked at the mess she had made, the girl had no idea what to do in this situation. Her eyes started to water as she looked to the head maid with both an expression of sorrow, confusion and apology. While she was fairly certain that Camille had now more than likely hated them and that she messed everything up, the maid instead tried to reassure her.

"It's fine. I'll just....put everything back." There was a slight edge to the chipper tone. Not entirely annoyance but the cheer present was a bit forced. Xia then watched as the maid began to go to work in cleaning up her mess. With grace, agility and focus befitting of a head maid, Camille had picked up after the dragon girls mess and put away all the things she had spilled.

While he was in the process of doing this, Xia meekly said, "man, you're really good at this. Sorry I messed everything up...already...sorry..." Though, due to their focus, the maid seemed to not take any note of this. Once it was all over and done, the girl slowly walked back to closet, picking only a few supplies, one after the other. Each time she did, she looked to the maid for approval only to then take it back out once they did.

"I didn't mean to upset you, miss." They spoke kindly. "Just try and remember to take it easy next time." They smiled at the Dragon girl.

The water in Xia's eyes subsided as she saluted the maid saying, "yes! I'll do just that! Thanks Camille, you're the bestest and nicest maid I've ever met! Well," puffing up her chest a bit with determination she then said, "Xia is off to work! Away!" And then proceeded to roam the halls of the building to begin her work.

"I can make it just fine, just give me some funking clothes so I'm not walkin' in the hall in my undies,"

"...That is a good point. In that case, just wait for me for a little bit, alright?"

After saying that, Angela went to her bed and pulled its sheet up and wrapped it around herself as a cloak before taking the bundle of clothing at the corner of the room with her. She left the room and Aria not long after, using her wind magic to weave her way through the people on the halls of the apartment as fast as she could until she could find herself in the laundry room. Following the instruction given by the cleaning crew earlier, she got the bundle of clothing to the machine there, and suddenly they're clean and dry again. Technology sure was quite amazing. Without wasting any time, she took the clothing back to her room, spending a total of around fifteen minutes for everything according to her watch.

"Here's your clothing, sorry for the wait! Maybe you can't really remember anything with your hangover now, but last night sure was fun, we should do that again! Though...maybe with less alcohol."

Angela got herself dressed not long afterwards, and decided to check her watch for anything interesting. There was a notification about a new additional exhibition match, although Angela really lacked the point to do that one right now. However, something else took her attention soon after. It was the news, and she froze as she heard the police officer mentioned how a group of drunks suddenly vanished. Those drunks...she realized that they were the ones she played with last night. Of course, there would be one explanation for this.

Nezar.

Why did he have to deal with them? He already allowed her to go there in the first place, fully knowing what she was going to do. Was the risk of Mauvache's reputation getting tarnished that big with that thing happening for him to get rid of those people? Angela of course felt an immense guilt regarding this, but as she thought about it, she couldn't help but to start feeling more resentful at Mauvache too. But...even if it's her fault, she couldn't do anything now. And she couldn't just break down before Aria. She wouldn't want anyone to worry about her. With an awkward smile, she decided to sign herself up to the random match, and then addressed Aria.

"E-eh...hey, have you done your photoshoot? If not, we can go together there now. And grab something to eat along the way. Since getting you drunk is my fault, it's all on me. Does that sound good?"

Aria

Angela left to go grab Aria some close, and came back very soon from the laundromat with Aria's outfit from yesterday freshly cleaned.

"Here's your clothing, sorry for the wait! Maybe you can't really remember anything with your hangover now, but last night sure was fun, we should do that again! Though... maybe with less alcohol," Angela announced cheerfully.

Aria had to remind herself that it was very unlikely that the two of them "did" anything the night previous, but she was going to need to confirm that later.

"I'll think about it when I can think about it," Aria grumbled. She took a moment to stand up, and after wobbling on the spot for a few minutes, managed to get into her clothes once again. Her hair was a mess, and she still smelled like vomit and booze, but both of those could be resolved with a quick shower. Angela got dressed as well, and the two of them waited in the room. Aria signed herself up for a random match without even considering it.

"E-eh... hey, have you done your photoshoot? If not, we can go together there now. And grab something to eat along the way. Since getting you drunk is my fault, it's all on me. Does that sound good?" Angela spoke up.

Aria thought about it for a moment, but her conclusion was fairly easy to come to. It had been a while since she had any sort of friends to consistently hang out and, well, consistently call friends, and the prospect of starting fresh in this weird dimension was not unattractive to her. "I already did my photoshoot, but I can tag along anyways. Breakfast sounds great, but I wanna shower first. I smell like sheet," Aria replied, her voice still more of a grumble than anything.

"I already did my photoshoot, but I can tag along anyways. Breakfast sounds great, but I wanna shower first. I smell like sheet,"

"Ah, yeah. And I smell pretty bad too, spunk and all that from last night. Let's go shower together then."

Upon reaching the conclusion that both of them smelled quite terrible, the two made their way to the showers. They spent quite a while there to make sure everything was clean, and due to Aria's condition worrying her Angela insisted on helping to wash her. Not much incidents happened during the process thankfully, and the two would be able to go out from the showers with a new freshness. Angela primarily really appreciated that her skin didn't feel sticky at all now and felt that her mind had been cleansed from the fog covering it before with the refreshing shower session. Not long after, around twenty minutes after they left Angela's room, the two would be sitting on a bench as Angela ordered both of them a sandwich. With them being quite relaxed, Angela decided to try starting up a conversation.

"Do you have any plans today? After going to the photoshoot and do our daily battle, I feel like exploring this place more. With us being stuck here for the time being, might aswell find something for us to enjoy here, right?

Anything fun you have in mind?"

Tesability

"Oh yeah we're definitely gonna need a translator at this rate. Right that first thing....grilling is, like, an interview, but with gusto, ya know? Maybe you don't...looks like sayings are not the way to go. I see now why GrandMau sent you here...Don't worry about it, let's just get on with the show eh?"

Julian led Tesability inside. The entrance way was a simple, grey walled, room with a pair of steel chairs on the left-hand wall. To the right was a hallway, lighted by a single florescent bulb. "Yeah Mauvy does not give us much of a budget here."

To the right was a window, where Tes would be able to see the DJ equipment. A cluster of tech that Tesability would feel right at home in. Soundboards, mics, stereos, everything needed to broadcast music, and voices, to the masses.

Julian headed down the hall and into the room, gesturing for Tes to follow. Once inside, Julian closed the door and sat down in a wheeled chair. She spun it around and moved around the small rectangular table in the middle of the room. "Dunno how we're gonna strap a mic to you but if there's anything you need before we go on the air let me know now. Else we're going right into this bitc-thing."

Aurora

The police station would be found to be not very far away from the Arena. It was a large, simple, economical looking structure. Imposing was a good word for it. Though it seemed that people were allowed to come and go as they please, but only in the downstairs lobby.

As Aurora entered she would find police bustling around. With the occasional civilian waiting to talk to someone about various issues. The policewoman from before, Kate, was currently talking with an older policeman who seemed to want nothing more than to get away with his coffee and doughnut.

If Aurora approached she would overhear the end of the conversation.

"You don't understand I'm sure it has to do with them, evidence suggests."

"Evidence? Evidence that one of hers are to blame? You have been here long enough to know not to go down that route." As he walked away he grumbled. "Should never have taken you off paper-pushing, damn minority quotas..."

Kate stood still, keeping her head held high, though her jaw looked clenched. She turned around and walked briskly right past Aurora.

Caleb

The dog was in the reception area, doing his dog thing, while people filled in. There were many who tried to talk to him but there had been a strict policy not to disturb the fighters much when they were in the Arena.

However the receptionist, Benjamin, didn't have that issue. In between talking to customers he would eye up the dog. It was a quarter of an hour before he beckoned him over.

"Hey, sorry bout this, but you seemed bored over there, thought you might want a friendly chat or something." Without missing a beat the boy continued speaking. "Saw you with Noreen over there, she's quite something isn't she? We went to school together but she was always missing class cause she found something interesting out the window to photograph and just had to go out and get it."

Xia

"yes! I'll do just that! Thanks Camille, you're the bestest and nicest maid I've ever met! Well," puffing up her chest a bit with determination she then said, "Xia is off to work! Away!

Camille's face grew hot at Xia's words, mumbling an awkward "thank you" before going off to take care of their own work.

Xia would find the first person she asked, a rather nice old man, very appreciative of the help. As it turned out the man was quite fond of gardening but didn't get out much so his entire room was filled with dirt.

After she tackled this she would hear a surprised shout from a nearby room.

Were she to check she'd see Camille bursting backwards out of the room, a look of pure terror on their face, as they stared at the doorway.

Standing in the doorway, looking curiously at Camille, was a white kitten.

Aria

Aria and Angela both headed to the communal bathrooms and got themselves cleaned up. Aria wasn't exactly comfortable with the help in the cleaning department, but after her overall state of undress last night she also figured that there wasn't much left for Angela to see. The shower improved how Aria was feeling, but a lot her whole body still felt very bad. After getting cleaned up and dressed, Angela ordered both of them a sandwich and the two of them finally rested on a bench.

"Do you have any plans today? After going to the photoshoot and do our daily battle, I feel like exploring this place more. With us being stuck here for the time being, might aswell find something for us to enjoy here, right? Anything fun you have in mind?" Angela was the one to say first.

Aria thought for a moment. "I signed up for a fight, so that'll probably happen after noon again. I also should earn a few more points; maybe do the interview or commercial or somethin'. Maybe both. For later, I dunno. I kinda wanna see the arcade, but only if my head stops feeling like fuckin' Punch-Out!! with Mike Tyson already."
