Muko (formerly Null and Void)

Activate only when an effect of drawing card(s) is activated. Both players see the cards drawn by the effect and discard them all to the Graveyard.

So, with the release of Raging Tempest in the TCG, another older card had to be renamed. “Null and Void”, a card that was initially released in Soul of the Duelist (2004), will now be called “Muko” and has been updated accordingly on the official database. The physical reprint of the card is still unavailable. (So it'll probs be in the next OTS pack)

This was done to exclude it from the “Void” archetype, which is supported through Infernoid Devyaty, Void Vanishment, and Void Feast.

To clarify; Muko was the name it went by in the anime (Ishizu vs Kaiba), discuss?

The counter trap with the gadget in it is a better card.

Drastic Drop Off. It forces the discard of 1 of the drawn cards (including draw for turn) while this discards all of them. Not a ton of utility difference though tbh.

Can this be used vs Maxx C? I'm assuming not because it isn't an effect that draws itself, it only gives the ability to draw.

Drastic is Spell-Speed 3 though.

Not that it matters much, but it could help with decks that draw cards and make chains a lot, like Paleozoics.

Although Drastic might actually discard after resolution, idk. It's been a while since I read the card.
