The Nyx Avatar
For this card, the intent is mainly to give Zombie or Fiend-Type monsters a Contact Fusion monster. The second intention would perhaps be to give them another option for recovery. I'm sure Zombie-Type has some, but I don't recall too many for Fiend-Type monsters. And the Summoning requirements are in keeping with the namesake (Yokai), as Yokai did appear in Yugioh, but their Types in official release was Zombie. DARKLevel 6Fiend/Fusion/EffectATK:2300DEF:23001 Fiend or Zombie-Type monster + 1 Fiend or Zombie-Type monsterThis monster cannot be used as a Fusion Material Monster. You can Special Summon this card from your Extra Deck by banishing the above cards from your side of the field. (You do not use "Polymerization".) You can pay 1000 Life Points to target 1 Fiend or Zombie-Type monster in either player's Graveyard; Special Summon it to your side of the field. You can only activate this effect of "Priestess of the Yokai" once per turn.

Black D'Sceptyr
Huh, t hat Zombie was a replacement term for Undead; seemed to fit the motif. Plus, the Yosenju clan was originally called the Hermit Yokai. BUT THIS CARD NOW. Feels like Mezuki numbers 4, 5 and 6, really, especially with how compatico it is with the Shiranui. Solitare and Spiritmaster's creaming the bed over this support now. Not being a Fusion Material itself can keep the numbers game from getting too big-but lets face it, this is only going to be what we Zombie-users summon AFTER the Lord Omega cocaine bucket runs dry, 'specially with them getting under the umbrella of the Link Format through their banishing effect. Still though, this is the Triple Whopper vs. Big Mac argument-both are great and this is a good boon to an already revival-heavy Deck. Almost makes me wonder if it's worth it. But the pic won me over. 9/10.
