[spoiler=Endymion the Enchanted Emperor: Info]

LIGHT/Spellcaster-Type Synchro Effect Monster/Level 9/3200 ATK/2200 DEF

Lore: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Master" Spellcaster-Type monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned using "Endymion the Master Magician" as a Material: You can add 1 "Magicial" and/or 1 "Spell" card from your Deck to your hand. While this card is face-up on the field, each time your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, inflict 700 damage to your opponent after it resolves. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard 1 Spell Card, but return that card in the Graveyard to the hand during the 2rd End Phase after this effect was activated; send 1 other card on the field to the Graveyard.

More Spell Counter support, even after my harebrained attempts to tie the Dark Magician lineup into it? Well, yea.

And really, Endymion needed a new look. Load of potential, even now with the Magical lineup. This is far from the end for Endymion.

Or the Spell Counter Synchros.

Or Prophecy itself.

Or my wholesale abuse of oars.

BDS, signing off...

WITH THIS.

In terms of this card's summon requirement, Endymion's JP name is "Divine Magical King", whereas the other monsters that would fit the requirement in English have different Japanese names (or don't directly translate to "Master"). Same thing goes for the searching effect if you do use Endymion to Synchro into this (er, I think he's the only one who would fit the bill). Just a note about that because a lot of the English names use the same word, but Japan uses different terms.

Anyway, you don't exactly have a choice in the Tuner you're using here (Night's End Sorcerer), given the above and that you need to make 9, but with that said, you are guaranteed a search on-summon, which is nice. Can safely say that Pendulum users and maybe stuff like Burgesstoma/Paleozoic or whatever spams backrow heavily will hate you for keeping this up (bar other removal), as it will drain their LP the more times they trigger. I am slightly skeptical of this card's (better) Drancia effect though (you know how much people dislike this one, right?), but you will need to have discardable Spell Cards to really do anything. I think Spell Counter decks will have spare cards they can burn, but yeah. At least it gets around targeting/destruction immunity, however the removal effect raises some concerns.
