Your opponent cannot target monsters you control for attacks except this card in your Extra Monster Zone. At the start of the damage step, if this card battles an opponents monster: target 1 monster in a zone this card points to, then, increase this cards ATK equal to the ATK of the targeted monster. If this card battles a defence position monster, inflict piercing battle damage.

So Excode Talker acts as another Code Talker like Decode (Sword) and Encode (Shield) but Excode is imaged with a Axe.

 

Excode effects make it so your opponents monsters have to focus on this card while its in the extra monster zone and when they do battle it this can gain ATK equal to the ATK of a monster in one of its linked zones. Finally it can also inflict piercing damage.

Well, at least we have another target for Recoded Alive now; not that Konami isn't already planning their own additions (presumably).

 

Card is technically fine on its own, though one thing of concern is this gaining massive ATK from either monsters you have linked to this card (either from mutual Linking or summoning more stuff). I'm going to assume that you just choose 1 monster linked to this card, and not everything if all 3 Links are pointing at something. No major concerns about the protection effect as it's deadweight after you remove it (or resummon via Recoded), though you need to explicitly mention what this card protects from (either attacks, targeting effects or both). I'll assume that your intention is both.

Well I fixed the ATK boost effect for the part where it gains ATK from one monster also the it protects other monsters from being attacked.
