Level 4 LIGHT Fairy

If you control a "Trickstar" monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If your opponent's card(s) are banished, inflict 200 damage to them for each. You can only use 1 "Trickstar Mysoti" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

1400/1400

Ok, so design notes. The name is based on Myosotis, the forget-me-not. The HOPT on special summoning is to stop loops with Lycoris. The card is designed to do what Lycoris does, burn 200 for each card your opponent has in their hand at the point of resolving Reincarnation. Overall, this should help them win games sooner. Please give honest reviews! Thank you.

EDIT: Tried to put a HOPT on the on burn effect, but it just looked clunky with the SS limit, so I made the Summon clause an effect and put a HOPT on both, making it a Dragon Ruler clause just to nerf it more.

I'll try to keep notes on this adding to the other variant to a minimum because certain users will complain about it. We know that Trickstars should be their own thing and not the variants that are universally disliked, but while said variant exists in its current form [Konami doesn't hit the cards that are causing the problem], it must be taken into consideration for design.

Taking a "standard" variant into account, still does plenty of damage with multiple Lycoris out, but blame's on her; not much on this. Just a note that this card's summon limitation only works for it being SS'd by its own effect, the GY effect of Reincarnation or however you choose to SS her; it does not prevent you from NSing first, then SSing this (though you'd want to spend your NS on Candina for overall searching if able). In slower variants that don't aim to make double/triple Lyco, then it should be okay.

Then again, this card punishes the Desires users heavily (or really anything that banishes in general, so...Metaphys, Shiranui, Kozmo [are these still around in True King / Zoo format], Macro Cosmos/Dark Law, etc). Desires alone is 2K, and you should probably know how often that's seeing use. At least it does give them more to work with for a standard build (least more targets to be searched and less reliant on the 3-4 Main Deck they got) / boost Holly Angel, so there's that.

I would make the burn effect a hard OPT; addressing that issue about the summon lock, if you get that off, you get 2 shots at burning. By making it a hard OPT, you limit it to only burning once after Reincarnation; not three times off consecutive copies. Granted, the burn damage gets weaker if you don't use this immediately (and still relies on Reincarnation), but as I noted above, Reincarnation still exists in multiples and that multiple abuse version exists.

So yeah, I don't think making a banish version of Lyco is a good idea; considering that it can technically still stack on multiples, even with the restriction.

@above user: The FTK one doesn't need help; it's functional as-is (albeit situational, considering I've gone against it a few times and test run against the YGOPro AI). At the same time, the fault is on Konami for permitting said variant to exist; hopefully they address them next list.

I would rather not strengthen the FTK/OTK potential of Trickstars; Lycoris is damaging enough. Removing the hard OPT on the burn effect, but instead burn by just 200 regardless of how many cards are banished, should keep it fair. Other than that, the card is great: the self-Summon effect makes it good as it gives Trickstar some swarming power and go for their Links, and Level4 makes for a 1-card Rank4 along Candina.
