You must also Tribute "Djinn" monsters from your hand, field, or Deck whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual monster you Ritual Summon. During your Main Phase, except the the turn this card was sent to the GY: You can banish this card from the GY and target 2 "Djinn" monsters that are either banished in your possession or in your GY; Special Summon them. You can only activate this effect of "Djinn Ritual Entourage" once per turn. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 3, 2017 Report Share Posted September 3, 2017 It's nice to see old Rituals getting some support, but given the Levels for all of them (barring Releaser b/c of its own effect that locks SSing that got it banned), you're not likely to be able to summon certain monsters without using duplicates. That, and nearly all of the vanilla Rituals (maybe bar Masked Beast, OG Black Luster, Magician of Black Chaos or anything above 2400 ATK or something) aren't worth it right now in modern applications. Recovering banished Djinns and stuff is nice though; at least you can use them again for another Ritual or ED fodder (if you really need to). Sleepy Posted September 3, 2017 Report Share Posted September 3, 2017 If memory serves me right, there are no vanilla Rituals below Level 6 or above Level 8, so we have 6,7,8 to choose from, and many of them are not really big in ATK or support.The biggest bit is that most Djinns are very low Level cards and their effects iirc don't stack. Otherwise I'd gladly use the one that gives a drawing effect to the Ritual x2 (it IS Level 4 so it'd be best). I think they mostly need something like a Djinn with the effect of boosting the Ritual's ATK, by something like 1000. That'd make even the weakest (Dokuro Rider) have a respectable 2900 ATK with materials from the Deck. Or Masked Beast at 4200 and 3 effects would be amazing. Well as is, I can see Level 7s being actually the best pick so that you don't need to dedicate extra space for the Level 1 anti-trap Djinn and can settle with the drawing card Djinn (Level 4) and either the discarding one (Level 3) or the anti target one (Level 3). Out of these, the best ATK is Garma Sword at 2550, but between Fortress Whale, Skull Guardian, Super War Lion, and Chakra, there can be merit to using either for their different Types or Attributes depending on what it is used in. Chakra would probably win on consistency by sharing the typing of the Djinns themselves.Level 6 are viable but they inherently have lower ATK to an almost unacceptable degree.... Even 7s could use a bit extra...It is an interesting card to say the least, and the reviving effect is pretty good, which would turn Level 6 Rituals into getting Rank 3 aid thinking about it, and thank god Releaser is banned.
