Babymon
Anyone feel these cards have potential to be great archetypes?
notcleverusername
I get that you're a baby, but they're already archetypesExtremely bad onesThese 4 cards you've posted are the only good ones
Hallohallo
Silent Swordsman (LV7) > Silent Magician (LV8) I'd rather have a monster that negates all Spells on the field than a monster that is unaffected by them. And thank God you didn't post Silent Paladin.
xlArisenRoselx
What's so bad about them? I've barely even seen any of them, but I kinda liked the ones I had seen. Plz Explain...
Darj
Silent Swordsman and Slash got potential, IMO. Negating Spells with Swordsman, then evolving into LV7 to lock them all can be nasty. I watched this post-Links HERO build that ran them and it looked really fun to play, but I can't tell how competitively viable it is.
Hallohallo
What's so bad about them? I've barely even seen any of them, but I kinda liked the ones I had seen. Plz Explain...They are way too slow and specific for today's meta. Most of them need to survive until your Standby Phase to get their leveled up monsters, their effects to level up are way too specific... and boring imo and they have no protection, except from Spells. Plus you brick faster if you run multiples. New cards help you search the old ones easily and give you more protection (Silent Sword Slash at least). (GigaDrillBreaker)
The issue with magician is that you aren't actually getting much out of it, and it isn't searchable. Not to mention its spell is awful. The issue with swordsman is that without slash it will be run over, and without swordsman, slash is unplayable. This becomes an issue when you take into account the fact that slash isn't searchable.

You don't really mind Swordsman being run over when it floats into LV7.Also Slash may not be searchable, but you can at least mill it with Foolish Burial of Belongings to get the search. ~~~~
At locals someone did a Buster Blader combo against me that ended on one of these (probably the Warrior one?) + Buster Dragon and the Fusion. All I remember about it is that it was really elegant.
