Naturia Vanilla Bean

EARTH Level 2 [Plant/Tuner/Normal] 0/2000

The sweet strong flavor of this bean is other-worldly. So good that it is said those who taste it can synchronize with the forces of nature.

I believe Naturias could make an entire variant off of this card.

It being a Naturia means it gets to become fodder for other effects like Sunflower, Vein, Mantis, or Horneedle (which negate monster effects, Spell/Trap effects, or destroy Normal or Special Summons, respectively).

It can be Summoned from the Deck easily with Antjaw, Sacred Tree, or from the hand by Pumpkin.

It can build up easy field presence because it is a vanilla. Tri-Wight, Painful Decision, Dark Factory of Mass Production, Faustian Bargain, etc.

It can also allow its fodder status to be used by Polynosis (AKA the Solemn Judgment for Plants).

Fruitfly can build-up easily as well.

The access of negation makes Naturia Forest actually do something now (though to be fair that one would still be underwhelming....)

It does not get Level 1 support, but it is still a pretty viable Tuner that can on a whim go into Beast or Barkion.

You could also use League of Uniform Nomenclature (more lenient Inferno Reckless for low Level vanillas) since Naturia Marron can cycle them back.

IDK how it'd work out but it could even be experimented on with White Elephant's Gift for a little draw engine. The idea of this card is easy quick fodder swarm, and it is also a Plant so that Sacred Tree can support the Insects with more tools, turning this into a Traptrix.

^Those are more or less the combos.

I'd leave it to the comments normally but posting a vanilla and saying nothing would probably result in this moved or locked xD

I find unusual for you to make support for an specific archetype xD

I like the vanilla flavor so this card gets bonus points from me.

The main issue I see with playing these along Antjaw, Sunflower and Vein is that they are too reactive by depending on the opponent's plays, who can simply resort to beating your Naturias before activating anything, or simply take the hits since giving up 2 monsters with Sunflower/Vein for 1 negation isn't a good deal nowadays, and they can just run over whatever Antjaw Summons.

The swarming power it offers as a low-Level vanilla seems promising though, and a more Insect-oriented variant with Mantis, Horneedle, Traptrix, Verdant Sanctuary and Naturia Tree may have some degree of effectiveness, at least as far as a casual deck can go; if only Naturias had more swarming power. This card being a Tuner is a plus that shouldn't be overlooked, either.

I believe you mean Marron instead of Tulip?

Making it a Pendulum would let you sneak in an extra effect and applications there, especially as a Pendulum Tuner with no restrictions, and coincidentally wouldn't conflict with Mantis at all since Pendulums can still be sent to the GY from the hand... but then it would lose Tri-Wight, Elephant's Gift and Marron support.

Yes Marron (edited).

Antjaw is I believe a very interesting card that nobody else uses. Just wait for the opponent to use a Special Summon effect, bring out Antjaw with the Tree or a Call of the Haunted, and it'll be there in time for the opponent's Summon to trigger it. The idea is that Fruitfly is pretty easy to bring out and stack up, with up to 5400 ATK potential shrinkage.

Remember Special Summons are very much needed nowadays in multiples xD

Yeah, don't think Pendulum would be a great idea. There could be made a different card with pendulum in mind, but I think this card just stops working with half the things it is supposed to if I did that, and at that point I might as well just make up a Monster Effect for it because it no longer has enough benefits as a vanilla, by not touching the GY.... Also, Naturias + Pendulums seem conflictive overall.

VANILLA XD

Anyway, not much I can say other than that it's a higher level Flamvell Guard that can't be used for Dragons or Card of Consonance, which is worse, but considering the existence of a Level 4 EARTH Plant/Tuner I wouldn't be surprised if they could get something out of this.

Tbh I think they need more cards that mill and banish so that Naturia actually have synergy with each other outside of their name, so if you make more that would probably be the direction to go.
