Dragulas
Must First be Synchro Summoned. Once per turn: You can Special Summon1 "Iron Chain" monster from your hand, Deck or GY. You can banish any number of "Iron Chain" from your hand, field and/or GY; this card gains 300 ATK for each card banished to activate this effect, also your opponent sends a card from the top of their Deck equal to that number, (from the extra deck) is not need as naturally synchro summon is from that location, its different from contact fusion monsters because the are stated to be just Special Summoned and can happen from anywhere, thats why they have the location specified. The card itself is cool in terms of being an evolution of ICD, being able to summon an IC from almost anywhere is nice, but this kind of effect is something a combo piece should do not a boss monster (its personal prference due to the bad support they have but its nice to have someone to do it anyway). Second effect on the other hand is very underwelming and should be once per turn also to avoid abusing it regardless of what im going to say: IC do not load the GY as Lightsowrns do and i doubt you would want to banish form hand and field more often than the GY and to just boost the monster and make your opponent mill their deck (which almost everydeck wants or at least do not care). Thats how they work so cannot say it was a flaw to do something they were ment to do, but for a synchro that requires another synchro as material this doesnt see worth the investment, even if it opens the deck for options. It lacks protection of any kind (not mandatory) but doesnt offer any oppresion to the opponent either.

Just saying "Iron Chain" is saying he'd have to look for a card named "Iron Chain" specifically. Ancient Gears had this confusion back in the day because there was a card strictly named "Ancient Gear"."this way" is just shorter xP I think he's trying to replicate a Summoning condition that often appears in Fusions, were they say "(from the Extra Deck)". But yeah, I don't think I've seen a Synchro use it, and I've been looking it up for a few minutes now xD - - - - - I for one, love the fact this card can Summon back the Dragon every turn, or bring out Snake to trigger Inferno Reckless. I used to try out this bad combo where I'd use "Give and Take" to revive "Koitsu" on my opponent's side, revive Chain Snake, use Inferno Reckless, equip them all to Koitsu, and mill 30 cards off your opponent when it got killed.... That's actually easier now with this card. Repairman isn't enough on his own, though searching for him with this card and having him revive an extra card sounds pretty good. too. Or you can also give some value to Chain Coil, because that Tuner now is searchable.
Darj
One thing that bugs me about this card is that it can revive the very same Iron Chain Dragon you used for its Summon and put considerable damage on the board. However, it's lacking disruptive or protection effects that most relevant bosses have nowadays, so I would say this is more of an aggro/beat boss.Would be neat if it could somehow recover, or otherwise take advantage from Iron Chains banished for the effects of both this card and the original Iron Chain Dragon.
