Thomas★Zero
so Ben Kei of Unlimited Bladeworks focus around equip spell cards where the core card Ben Kei allows you to gain ATK and DEF for each equip Spell on the field along with being able to attack equal to the number of equip spells on the field if equipped with 2 or more. Blade Guardian acts as protection for Ben Kei while Sword Craft Generator helps search for the Bladework Equip Spells. Finally each equip Spell besides Laevateinn are based around certain Equip Spells of the past (with the exception of Durendal.) Ben Kei of Unlimited Bladeworks lv 4 DARK Warrior/Effect Increase this cards ATK and DEF by 500 for each Equip Spell Card on the field. If you control 2 or more Equip Spell Cards, this card can make attacks equal to the number of Equip Spell Cards on the field. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can equip 1 "Unlimited Bladeworks" Equip Spell Card from your hand, Deck or GY to this card. You can only activate this effect of "Ben Kei of Unlimited Bladeworks" once per turn. ATK/500 DEF/800 Blade Guardian lv 4 EARTH Warrior/Effect If you control a Monster equipped with a Equip Spell Card, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If your opponent activates a card effect that would target or destroy a monster you control, you can destroy 1 Equip Spell Card you control; negate the activation of that card and destroy it. ATK/1900 DEF/1300 Sword Craft Generator lv 3 FIRE Machine/Effect While you control a Warrior Monster, this card cannot be targeted for an attack. During your Main Phase: you can add 1 "Unlimited Bladeworks" Equip Spell Card from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Sword Craft Generator" once per turn. ATK/300 DEF/1600 Unlimited Bladeworks - Laevateinn Equip Spell Card Equip only to "Ben Kei of Unlimited Bladeworks". Increase the equipped Monsters ATK by 1000. While this card is face-up on the field, all other Equip Spell Cards you control cannot be destroyed by your opponents card effects. You can only control 1 face-up "Unlimited Bladeworks - Laevateinn". Unlimited Bladeworks - Durendal Replica Equip Spell Card Equip only to a Warrior Monster. Increase the equipped Monsters ATK by 500. Once per turn (Quick Effect): when your opponent activates a card effect, you can target 1 Spell/Trap card on the field, destroy the targeted card. Tinkerer
I'm not sure how fair this set of stuff is. It kinda feels like an Exodia turbo in the sense that it's not consistent, but it can completely win games by itself. If your opponent cannot negate Ben Kei's effect or quick effect murder it before it activates its effect, it can pull Noble Arms of Destiny to protect itself and swing at everything with minimum 3k ATK. Again, it's not super consistent (Summoner Monk being its best means of being summoned, but that restricts attacks anyway) and most decks nowadays have at least 1 form of disruption, but randomly pulling out an OTK with 1 card with no hoops to jump through seems like a bit much. If anything, I'd say reduce its effect to calling 3 Equips, rather than 5.
Armoire
So... the Equip Spells and Blade Guardian are fine by themselves.I like the concept with the replicas. Reminds me of Gilgamesh from the Final Fantasy series. What's not fine is Ben Kei of Unlimited Works. The Normal Ben Kei as is can already OTK like crazy, but is hindered by the fact that you can't get the equips you want ASAP.Your retrain jumps through those hoops and equips any Equip Spell from anywhere, and as much as possible. He's basically a guaranteed OTK unless your opponent has something that can stop its effects. And having the effect Once per Duel, when you will most likely use it after clearing your opponent's backrow, doesn't mean much when you're just going to OTK them anyway. Also, because of the new Ben Kei, Sword Craft generator's purpose is basically moot. Also, it feels too slow since you have to waste a Normal Summon on it. I think it would be better if you could Special Summon it while you control a Warrior monster or just have its search effect go off of discards. tl;dr Walking OTKs, once per duel or not, is not a good idea. Suggested fixes:Make his effect search out only Unlimited Bladeworks Equip Spells instead of any Equip Spells.Make him search out only 1 Equip Spell.Make the effect a quick effect.Make his effect a hard OPT instead of OPD.Taking the above and applying it to the effect: Increase this cards ATK and DEF by 500 for each Equip Spell Card on the field. If you control 2 or more Equip Spell Cards, this card can make attacks equal to the number of Equip Spell Cards on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can equip 1 "Unlimited Bladeworks" Equip Spell Card from your hand, Deck or GY to this card. You can only activate this effect of "Ben Kei of Unlimited Bladeworks" once per turn. This way, his range of searching Equip Spells isn't super ridiculous, but he can grab the Equips meant for him once per turn, during either player's turn, to slowly grow in power. This would still give him good advantage but let your opponent have time to get rid of him before he becomes invincible/OTK power.
