with the importance of positioning in this format i think this card does to much.. as its essentially a free non-target removal for up to 3 cards. damage null its not really good limitation in this game especially with strong effects like this (One Day of Peace say hey from the Limited list)

Well, it's comparable to a better Blasting Fuse, except it doesn't require you to have all zones filled in the column to trigger AND can be activated right away. I mean, yeah, Blasting doesn't have a limitation on it, but it's gimmicky to the point that it's unusable. Yeah, this technically is non-targeting removal and for what it's worth; kill your opponent's stuff while leaving your own cards alone (for most part).

 

Then again, a couple of the gimmick cards from CDIP are probably going to see the light of day now...

I recommend a re-wording of the last bit, so that it not only prevents damage for the rest of the turn, but it also cannot be used if your opponent has already received damage that turn.

That would be a real set-back for the card that could help balance it out more.

Using it in a column with an Extra Monster Zone and maybe a floater from your side (if anything) makes this potentially powerful, but being column-based makes one able to play around it to a degree, and I think that justifies its design enough. 

Though I think it also needs a hard OPT clause so the user doesn't go nuts and use multiples of this card in the same turn. Once one is fulfilled, I think that could be another set back if you want it to.

 

It'd look something like this:

When you activate this card: If your opponent has taken no damage this turn, destroy all other cards in this column, and if you do, your opponent takes no damage for the rest of the turn. You can only activate 1 "Spiritual Flareogan" per turn.
