Deck Master / Commander Dueling Book Tournament

I was basically going along the lines of when Jinzo was used as a Deck Master in the anime (episodes 108 and 109) where its effect was effectively "Negate all face-up Trap effects your opponent controls and destroy them." In other words, the same as its normal effect (it also destroyed traps in the anime) except that it only affected the opponent.

 

Also, you seem to have omitted one of the main rules about Deck Masters. Namely, if your Deck Master is destroyed, you lose the duel.

I did point out the same thing in this thread earlier.

 

Response being, this mechanic may be named after Deck Masters for familiarity with YGO players, but mechanically it is largely based on Commanders (an MTG mechanic).

 

Hence the thread name.
