[Written] Omni HERO's Version X & Support [8/8]

So with the idea of better version of the Omni HERO's I made this as a Xth version set where the Omni HERO's have upgraded and better effects which can make theme good for Fusion Style HERO's. In addition they include 2 support cards in the form of a Monster that can Summon itself by recycling your Fusion/Change Spells into your deck and a new Fusion Spell that makes summoning HERO Fusions including the classic HERO Fusions easier.

 

Xtra HERO Cross Driver

lv 3 LIGHT

Warrior/Effect

You can Special Summon this card from your hand by shuffling 1 "Polymerization", "Fusion" Spell Card or "Change" Quick-Play Spell Card from your GY into your Deck. You can only Special Summon "Xtra HERO Cross Driver" this way once per turn. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, add 1 "Elemental Fusion X" from your Deck or GY to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Xtra HERO Cross Driver" once per turn.

Elemental HERO Gaia X

lv 6 EARTH

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 EARTH Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. When this card is Fusion Summoned or your opponent Special Summons a Monster, target 1 Monster your opponent controls, halve the targeted Monsters ATK and DEF and double this cards ATK and DEF until the End Phase that turn. You can only activate this effect of "Elemental HERO Gaia X" once per turn. After damage calculation if this card attacked, change this card to defence position.

Elemental HERO Escuridao X

lv 8 DARK

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 DARK Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. Increase this cards ATK equal to the number of "HERO" Monsters in your GY x 100. This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it uses this effect, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved.

Elemental HERO Absolute Zero X

lv 8 WATER

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 WATER Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. Increase this cards ATK by 500 for each other "HERO" Monster on the field. When this card leaves the field, destroy all Monsters your opponent controls, then, inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent for each Monster destroyed by this effect.

Elemental HERO Nova Master X

lv 8 FIRE

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 FIRE Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. When this card destroys a Monster as a result of battle, draw 1 card, then, if the card you drew was a "HERO" Monster, reveal it to your opponent, then, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the revealed Monsters ATK.

Elemental HERO The Shining X

lv 8 LIGHT

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 LIGHT Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. Increase this cards ATK by 300 for each of your banished "HERO" Monsters. When this card leaves the field, add up to 2 of your banished "HERO" Monsters to your hand, then, increase your LP by 1000 for each card added to your hand by this effect. You can only activate this effect of "Elemental HERO The Shining X" once per turn.

Elemental HERO Great Tornado X

lv 8 WIND

Warrior/Fusion/Effect

1 "HERO" Monster + 1 WIND Monster

Must be Fusion Summoned. When this card is Fusion Summoned, halve the ATK and DEF of all Monsters your opponent controls. When this card attacks, return all Spell/Trap Cards on your opponents side of the field to their hand. Your opponent cannot activate card effects in response to this effect.

Elemental Fusion X

Spell Card

Reveal 1 "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster, then, Fusion Summon 1 "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck using 1 "HERO" Monster you control or from your hand and 1 Monster from your Deck whose Attribute is the same as the revealed Monster as Fusion Materials. If the Summoned Fusion Monster is also a "X" Monster, it gains the following effect.

* This card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects.

You can only activate "Elemental Fusion X" once per turn.

Alright lets begin, first of all I have to admit you managed to make to more or less make the omni heros usable again and flashy at that ... that being said I recommend you make the protection from the Fusion Spell once per turn, given that the upgrades and even the original omni heros are solid enough as is and complete destruction protection does not feel like an elemental hero thing to do.

I also feel like the X upgrades should not be strictly better forms, some are, some are not.

 

Now the cards in detail:

1.) Xtra Hero Cross Driver:

     Sounds solid, searching the new fusion spell, having a special summon condition, honestly sounds perfectly fine as an enabler to make Elemental Fusion X actually consistent.

     The name also fits (not being an elemental hero).

2.) Elemental Fusion X:

     As written above having complete protection against destruction does not feel like an elemental hero thing to do and is a little overtuned.

     The card is good enough as is, milling from the deck and requiring minimal setup, with Xtra Hero Cross Driver being a 1-card Fusion Summon for all of them.

3.) Elemental Hero Gaia X:

     To be fair I suggest it only doubles its ATK so that switching to defence position is kind of a "disadvantage" and the original Gaia has an edge in the situational case that you pick a monster with more than 4400 ATK.

     Beyond that I am not sure this card is fair with pushing for 4400 dmg, while not relying on a normal summon and with the ease of being summoned with the new Fusion Spell, so I suggest the damage it inflicts gets

     halved during the turn its effect gets activated.

4.) Elemental Hero Great Tornado X:

     The card is basicly both better and worse than the original one, it immediately bounces an entire backrow when it attacks and then prevents any responses, however has to bounce it, meaning cards like

     Fire Formation - Tenki can be reused, so the monster appears to be balanced in that it has both pros and cons over the original.

5.) Elemental Hero Absolute Zero X:

     This card has an easier to fullfill boosting condition, while not gaining ATK from monsters an opponent controls, which qualifies for not being a strict upgrade, the random burn on the removal sounds fine.

6.) Elemental Hero Nova Master X:

     Another random burn effect on a monster that is basicly the original one with an added utility, again I suggest you make it so the card gets revealed anyways, so it is not strictly better, yet still has an edge over the

     original one.

7.) Elemental Hero Escuridao X:

     Another balanced upgrade, though again it could have a disadvantage over the original one, though I feel like the advantage of using this over the original one is so slim that it should not ever matter, given that attacking

     directly with reduced stats instead of overwhelming an opponent is not something hero decks intend to do, unless it is to finish an opponent.

8.) Elemental Hero The Shining X:

     Another strict upgrade, I like that the float triggers upon leaving the field in any way and cannot miss timing, healing 1000 points for each sounds like a huge help after using cards like destrudo, solemn judgement and/or

     A Hero Lives.

 

All in all I like your set, they are flashy, address the issue with the omni heros and make me want to play heros again.
