Out of curiousity, I thought Speed Duels could only use up to 30 cards for the Main Deck. Is this true?

Yup.  The deck size is 20-30 total cards.  You also have 4000 LP, you start with a 4-card starting hand, and there is no Main Phase 2.  At least, that's how it works in Duel Links; I dunno if there's a difference between Duel Links and Speed Duels mechanically.
