I was thinking either:1) The Gladiator can complete a challenge to increase his/her points to 2.OR2) They pay a point price and get back to 3 points. Hardly anyone will want to pay points. How about they lose out. Once there is only one person who has beaten everyone that has entered or could possibly enter then the contest ends. "Once per turn, by tributing 1 monster and removing it from play, destroy 1 monster your opponent controls. You cannot conduct your Batte Phase during a turn that you activate this effect.
