I like the story and the characters. I watched it since it was dubbed, and it was one of my favorites now.

I used to like it. It had a decent concept. Average characters. I hated the reprensentation, but still watched it. Then I read the manga. I still liked it, but less, as I expected more. Then I gave it to my friends. To my amazement, they became obsessed with it, and started to read literally volumes a day, and downloaded the episodes from the internet. One bought an expensive TV, and threw out his old one, simply to watch Naruto in higher resolution. I started to hate it. It got to the point where I transferred classes, because they were harassing and bullying me for new volumes and money to buy them. It is now my most hated manga/anime. It got stupider, and more silly. It has become generic and honestly, just sad.

 

P.S. About my username, I joined before I started hating Naruto. The avatar and sig are set to change when I can be bothered.

1. You don't know me, so how can you compare me to anything? It is incredibly disrespectful to compare everyone to anything if you don't know everyone.

2. I will agree that the art is not the best I have ever seen, but if you can't be any better (maybe you can, I don't know. If you are an artist, I envy you) then you don't get to complain about it.

3. The story is yes granted very slow, but Bleach is slow too and I haven't heard anyone belly-ache about that yet (unless I missed it).

4. The character's do seem slightly OTT in their way of being either one way or the other (bad, good, self-righteous etc.).

5. Nothing in the current world Pop Culture is accurate about what the fabled Ninja is like; because what is easier way to hide - In plain sight where anyone in the area could be a Ninja/Target, or wearing a full black outfit in a well-lit area carrying knives and throwing stars. Hmmmmmmmm... Houston I think we may have a problem.
