Can somebody please explain to me what makes arcana force ex the dark ruler good?

Whether or not he's "good" is irrelevant. Banworthiness and goodness do not strictly correspond to one another; The Six Samurai - Zanji is superior to Self-Destruct Button, but only one of those two deserves to be legal.

The part where he single-handedly inflicts 8000 damage in one Battle Phase, and thus has a built-in OTK, is the part that makes him banworthy.

wow!! because of this card everybody changed the discurse...

until yesterday was "BAN THE WORLD!!"

now is "BAN THE DARK RULER!!"

doesn,t matter who, the people wants one arcana force on the ban list... and i don't know why, they're still too situational cards...

Bump because I think this card should get re-evaluated.

In a format where it's so easy to get monsters on the field (Malicious, Junk Synchron, Gigaplant, Zombie Master, and possibly Goyo Guardian) and so easy to keep monsters on the field (Krebons), this card could have a devastating effect on the Meta in a good deck.

Since it doesn't specify which Graveyard you have to send the monsters to, could monsters that you Special Summon with Goyo Guardian be used to Summon this card?

World lock > this?

A situational combo requiring at least five cards is better than a one turn OTK that only requires four cards?

world+Valhalla+3 scout planes in the grave+ bazoo or Strike Ninja+Light B?

Ex dark+3 monsters u control+Heavy/Tru+something to get rid of the monsters already on the field+Light B?

4<7?

but lets cut out the heavy/tru and monster d

4<5?

and the Light B we really dont need that.

4<4?

yes in "quote" shear power and the fact its a "1" card OTK yeah its better but playability wise no. a thousand times no

^The World is not an OTK' date=' it's a Lockdown. You need more than one of your turns to complete it.

[/quote']

D-draw Mal>get rid of Hact/play Valhalla>Terraphorming Light B/just play it> sp. summon World>normal anything.

Game?

normally u need more than one turn to make it happen but still

Wolf: The purpose of an OTK is to inflict enough damage to reduce the opponent to 0, or winning the duel by card effects, in one turn. A Lockdown is normally, not an OTK. Not saying that it's bad: Yata-Lock usually takes more than one turn to accomplish. Lockdowns, if handled properly, renders your opponent helpless.
