To all those members that want to be mods...

It's really not worth it.

I was a moderator for almost a year, and yesterday, when I finally returned to being a normal member, I enjoyed YCM more than I ever have.

At first becoming a moderator might seem like a fun thing, but after a few weeks, you'll realize it's stressful, and it's not as easy to have fun on the forum.

A lot of people say that they want to be moderators, but they don't realize what it's like to be a moderator.

I just want to give you a word of advice. That advice is that it's much more fun to be a regular member and make posts without having to worry about moderation problems than it is to be a moderator and have to worry about locking threads and things like that.

Other than TotalObelisk, I was a moderator longer than any current moderator until I returned to a normal member.

You should think twice before you make the decision to become a moderator, as you might enjoy the forum like you did before.

There's one more thing I'd like to say.

This is a great forum, and I really enjoy it. I find it much more enjoyable when I'm a normal member than when I'm a moderator. I don't want people to become moderators and end up not having fun.

If you're not down with that, I've got two words for ya!

Thank you for your warnings [star]

I, one of those who doesn't care but still would like to help out with the site, will keep this in mind.

But if I do become a Moderator, I will remember to keep whatever obligations I have.

For I have no life anymore, as I see it being taken' away from me piece by piece until I finally pass from this world. But I shall promise, that If I become a mod, that I won't let anyone down, I will try my best not to dissappoint my fellow members.

And I am nnever to become a Mod, then you have my word that I will follow this advise and enjoy what ever life I have left.

I always used to want to be a mod.

Then I got tired of seeing members, two of which were newbs, that joined after me, have less respect than me ect. become mods instead.

I then thought, why bother with it? It's the same thing as normal but you have to work, and be hated.

Post respected star.

... Someone either doesn't know how to count, or "it" suddenly became a swear word.

... And "you" was never really much of a swear to begin with. >_>

I'm 50/50 on whether or not I even want to be a mod at the moment

If I was a mod, I'd probably be the most hated mod ever, since I'm the one that pretty much caused [star] to leave

Plus, everyone seems to think I'd do a horrible job of it, saying that I would "Go into a state of depression every time a rule was broken"

But it's not like I'd say no if, which I won't, I was asked to be one
