Kale
With the new Dark Synchro concept, a lot of old cards may reemerge that have to be Level Specific. What i mean is, cards that are activated and draw their strength on the levels of the monsters on the field. Think about these two cards:

these two cards combined could be very awesome, in my opinion. Gravity Bind doesnt allow monsters of a level 4 or higher to attack, basically capping the ATK to 1800 possible, since that is the highest ATK monster possible that could attack is Speed Warrior on his first turn, if i am not mistaken, since he is level 2. But Freezing Fitzgerald is a level -5, so that means that he isnt bound by the law of Gravity Bind, since mathematically -5 is less than 4. This card could also work with the forgotten card in the newest pack:
Since again, he is less than a level 2 monster. this card concept of Negative Levels could bring back some of the older cards, like Gravity Bind, to make a real annoying deck to fight against, am i right? for discussion, try coming up with other cards that would make this card concept very powerful, if not overpowered. Right now, wouldnt it be fun to build a Dark Synchro Stall deck, with Gravity Bind as its center card? that would be fun to be able to attack with your powerful cards and not have to worry about their monsters attacking. Another point for discussion, do you think they might adapt the rules for these monsters for Absolute Value? Such as: -5's absolute Value is 5, since it is 5 spaces away from 0. That would make Gravity Bind still stop him from attacking, and making him not a target for Graceful revival. What do you guys think?

Kale
By a bunch you mean Cards from ever past set almost right? well, old as well as new. i gave the examples of Graceful Revival from the last pack and Gravity Bind from a while back. this card can bring other cards that rely on monsters' levels being less that a certain amount, and these monsters would be able to bypass that completely, because when they made the original cards they didnt take in account the Negative Levels concept. ^_^
bury the year
To the idea of absolute value: It will either be retconned, or they will make it into a card.
Kale
To the idea of absolute value: It will either be retconned' date=' or they will make it into a card.[/quote'] like make a card into the Absolute Value? that would be interesting... i bet that is what they would do to stop the abuse of Gravity Bind, if they did decide to release these. ^_^
Skyfi
Also pretty much everu cards that goes along the lines of "Special Summon One Level Blank or Lower Monster"
Flame Dragon
As far as I know Freezing Fitzgerald is an anime only card, and if they did make these into real cards they would most likely make rulings to address this.
Kale
Also pretty much everu cards that goes along the lines of "Special Summon One Level Blank or Lower Monster" true, but wouldnt these go in the extra deck? so it wouldnt effect play of Marauding Captain, but it could bring up cards that influenced the Graveyard and RFG piles with that effect. @Flame Dragon: that is what i thought. my last discussion point states what i think they will do. Kale
Oh yea oops i forgot but you know what I mean yeah, i thought that is what happened. ^_^ i bet they will make another ruling on these for an 'Absolute Value' concept, they have 5 levels, whether they are negative or not. that means it cant skip Gravity Bind. i bet that is what will happen... Skuldur
they'd need to errata alot of cards, eg "Special Summon 1 lvl 2 or lower or -2 or higher" or something like that i just hope they don't make the cards

Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Ugh. Whoever came up with negalevels was an imbecile, for this reason among others.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Dark Synchros are too annoying, and they would mess with the game xP
Phantom Roxas
Should Dark Synchros actually be released, they would probably be more broken than Tele-DAD.
armageddon08
I think they're just running out of ideas. Next they'll have synchros who can only be Synchroed by finding the square root of the cards used:).
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Should Dark Synchros actually be released' date=' they would probably be more broken than Tele-DAD.[/quote']Well, they're more difficult. To make Fitzgerald required a Level 8 Dark Tuner and another Level 3 monsters. 3 - 8 = -5 For even higher levels requires a higher level Dark Tuner and lower level other monsters. Lowest levels required for Fitzgerald are 1 and 6.
armageddon08
I don't think they're gonna be that playable because of the "high level Tuner" concept
Wyhe
Indeed, you can even discard a Level 1 like a Kuriboh for for a Double Attack, as I had demonstrated in my fanfic's ch 40 when I debutted a custom Dark Synchro of my creation. Phantom Roxas
Really? I should read your fanfic. Anyway, they'll probably make more sense as Season 2 progresses.
Wyhe
Really? I should read your fanfic. Anyway' date=' they'll probably make more sense as Season 2 progresses.[/quote']well Double Attack's effect is discarding a monster so that a lower leveled monster could attack twice. 1 is technically higher than -5, so there you have a high double attacker.
