Cin Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 I'd only use the masterball if I REALLY wanted the Legendary (usually Giratina), or if using it made the battle easy. For example in XD its best to Masterball Master Greevil's XD001 (Shadow Lugia) to avoid damage for the Lv 50 6 Shadows after (Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Exeggutor, Tauros and Rhydon) and believe me that is a hard bunch to pick the shadows off on (Zapdos Lv 50, Paralysed 1 HP.....didn't want to go in the Ultra Ball) and sometimes Lugia makes a useful shield for none shadows. With Colo just to take out Shadow Tyranitar's Sand Steam while picking off Evice's Lv 60s. But Colo and XD work differently to any other game anyhow. I've heard of people catch Legendaries with Pokeballs before so its nothing to brag about. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
