DAD should definitely be banned.

 

Teleport is a strong engine in teledad but I really see Malicious being the problem there and not e-tele itself.

DAD... I dunno. However, Limited AT THE MOST.

Limiting DAD would be good.

Tele-DAD runs not only the main star Dark Armed Dragon but also a supporting cast of Breaker the Magical Warrior, Sangan, Monster Reborn, Snipe Hunter, and Crush Card Virus. There are a lot of banworthy cards in that deck.

Yes, but out of Breaker the Magical Warrior, Sangan, Monster Reborn, Snipe Hunter, and Crush Card Virus, not one if removed would seriously hinder the decktype.

Yes, but out of Breaker the Magical Warrior, Sangan, Monster Reborn, Snipe Hunter, and Crush Card Virus, not one if removed would seriously hinder the decktype.

 

Removing all five would be a hindrance. Crush is insanely powerful; there's no question of that. Snipe Hunter is powerful, and is an answer to the opponent's Stardust Dragon. Breaker is also good, and makes anti-meta strategies like Oppression far less effective. Sangan and Monster Reborn are obvious.

 

Remove DAD as well as those five, and the deck feels pain.

Perhaps. Maybe I misunderstood the point of this thread. I believe that the question here is "which card would hurt teledad the most if banned?" not "which cards in teledad are bannable?"

The main powerhouses of Tele-DAD. So' date=' what places on the banlist would you put these?

 

Dark Armed Dragon: At least Limited. By the time the next Banlist comes out, we would have had him for a year, that's decent enough time for him to be banned.

 

Emergency Teleport: At least Semi'd

 

Destiny Hero - Malicious: Back to being Semi'd, if not Limited.

Malicious-One of the few cards that could, in theory, be put at 2, but he isn't good enough to be put their. At 1 he is pointless.

DAD is banworthy regardless.

 

I think banning Emergency Teleport would have a significant effect on TeleDAD as it will severely slow down Synchroing. Limiting Teleport in theory would do the same thing (as in slow down Synchroing) without having to get rid of it completely.

 

As well as DAD, alot of cards in the Deck are banworthy without Teleport needing a mention.

and what's the point on limiting a card that only works with more copies of itself??

 

2 or 3, never 1... it's ridiculous...

 

So let's say that theoretically, a card had the following effect: "Discard this card to special summon another copy from your deck. You then win the duel."

 

You would support keeping this semi-limited so as not to make it useless?

Trouble is, half the time, TeleDAD never pulls DAD, and just relies on Goyo/Stardust/Thoughtruler/etc. It's even worse on DMU (my arena), where they have Brionac, X-Saber Urbellum, and Hyper Telekinetic Gunner.

 

I say ban E-Teleport. I used to like it and say "Ban DAD", but then I found out it made Buster Mode playable, and anything that can do that is far too powerful. Then it'll just be DAD, which apparently loses out to Lightsworns and Glads. Oh, and ban CCV. Most broken unbanned card in the game IMO.

 

I just like Reborn 'cuz I do, and don't really have a reason for it to remain unbanned, but...

If Konami got rid of Emergency Teleport and Dark Armed Dragon, what the hell would the Deck be called then.

3) Given your reasoning with the Synchros (Except for HPG, that's just ridiculous), I agree.
