Yea that's right I forgot his first confrontation with Cornelia. That was one time, but there were others. [spoiler=That was one of the memorable times, but not the only one. In the first season alone:]In Stage 2, everything gets screwed up by Suzaku, so he ends up needing to go straight for Clovis instead of winning the battle as planned. Stage 7, of course, has Cornelia defeating him. In the battle where Toudou first appeared, his plan to kill Cornelia is foiled. The plan to trap Suzaku with the Gefron Desomethingorothers gets messed up when Suzaku tries to get them both killed together, Schneizel shows up, and V.V. transports them to an island. Of course, Lelouch goes into Mode Lock at the worst possible time, causing his plan to get Euphie to apparently assassinate him to be foiled. Stage 25 leads to Lelouch's entire rebellion failing. Can't believe I didn't mention this earlier, but it took Light about five-and-a-half years only to fail at his plan, but it only took Lelouch one-and-a-half to succeed.
