How is this bad.

None of the Divine monster are good.

Meh. Kind of cool I guess.

I thought the god cards can't be destroyed?

It depend on what effect they use. If I was to guess I'd say the ones they have in the video game, and those effects aren't good.

Why the heck is this Level 10?

Konami overuses Level 8s and 10s. Not enough 9s and 11s.

If anything, this should be Level 12. If not, then level 11.

Anyways, DIVINE ATTRIBUTE?!?!?!

Yayz.

EDIT: This will either cause, with the noobs:

1.) To be happy that they can use Obelisk in a Duel.

2.) To cause a happy noob explosion.

3.) To cause noobs to complain that it isn't the true Obelisk, since it's not blue and Level 12.

Obelisk tributes two monsters you control to destroy all cards your opponent controls and increases his ATK bey the combined ATK of the tributed monsters' date=' right?

I hope they make Slifer.

No. His effect is Tribute 2 monsters to destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field (technically "and attack your opponent's Life Points directly", but that's pointless if you destroy all of their monsters).

He, apparently for some reason, also had an effect to increase his ATK somewhere, but I'm not sure what it exactly was. And I'm not talking about the "tribute the other gods for infinite ATK" thing.

This is the game effect: You must offer 3 Tributes to Tribute Summon this card. When this card is Special Summoned, it is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase. While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps or Monsters that designate a target. By offering 2 Monsters on your Field as Tributes, all Monsters on your opponent's Field are destroyed.

Tis' where true it would be horrible. Its a negative either way.

If I remember correctly, its anime effect varied between "Tribute two monsters. This card gains infinite ATK" and "Tribute two monsters. Destroy all monsters your opponent controls". The former definitely appeared in the terrible movie, and the latter was definitely used against Yugi at one point - only for Obelisk's direct attack to be blocked by WALL OF KURIBOHS HAX.

If my memory serves me correctly, Obelisk gained infinite attack when the two Tributed monsters were Osiris and Ra. In any other circumstances, the effect was destroying all monsters the opponent controlled.

That said, I'm not so sure this will see much play, unless it does come with the obscene amount of protection the Gods had in the series.

if it says " this monster may only be removed from the field by being destroyed in battle", I'm going to have to get more spell counters.

it has 4000 ATK and DEF if it is big blue.
