Should stay at 3.

I'd post someone else's commentary on the card here, later - I'll just try and find it.

Synchros are easy, easy, easy to get out even without Malicious. Instant Fusion lets you do it without having to fit in the 15+ card engine. The only thing Malicious gives Synchros is synergy with a DARK/Warrior-Psychic engine that lets the deck comfortably run, and draw towards, DAD and CCV.

And it's not even a "free" swarm, not in the sense that Dimension Fusion and Return essentially are; TeleDAD needs to play out most of its resources to spam the field with Synchros and as such it leaves itself vulnerable to disruption if it does not OTK. And guess how it OTKs? DAD, Storm, Reborn, removing all opponent's defense with CCV...

I think the hate toward Malicious stems from the fact that most players have not actually piloted TeleDAD and seen that it lucksacks its way out of impossible scenarios only because of DAD/CCV, and that Malicious is secondary.

From Pojo's T-Drag.

And don't flame away, sayin' in effect: "Pojo... lulz... so poor".

He has a point. Whether that point holds up to scrutiny - I believe it does; you?

mali is bad' date=' it allows the e. tele to make 2+ level 8 scynchros, which is jst unfiar and hard to overcome, even more so if they are going the cheep route and just summon a couple of stardusts.

[/quote']

What you need to do is prove that this is unfair and demonstrate why this is bad for the game and reduces the impact of skill on the game.

question' date=' how the heck do you kill 3 stardusts on the field?

[/quote']

Brionac.

I have to say this should be at 2. Malicious at 3 allows players to carelessly synchro summon and even if they lose that monster they could effortlessly replace it. At 2 however you can only use Malicious effect once forcing to player to carefully think about when and into what monster will be the best to synchro into. Some people may say that this still gives your opponent an easy synchro monster, but their is nothing wrong with your opponent getting a easy level 8 synchro since the worse monster they could get is Stardust.

I don't see whats bad about this card. Its cheap and effective, but hardly damages the game. What damaged the game was having alot of powerful synchros with no other conditions other than "tuner + 1 or more non tuner" to exist this early in the game/even at all, But even this is hardly damaging to the game.
