CrabHelmet
The one assured benefit of having a universal OCG is that you'd only need one copy of a hard-to-find card and the rest could be Japanese common versions. That's how it works right now. No' date=' it isn't. The rest could be German versions or French versions or something, but they still need to be from TCG countries. That's what I'm hoping for... Have fun.
Megaworm
Also' date=' please note that even though Japan is not loaded with religious zealots, the rest of the world is. Unless Konami wants to a gun to its head, it's not going to revert back to Angels and Demons and Pentagrams and whatever other crap all those retarded Christians rage about. Massively conservative zealous parents massively influence their children's purchases; and if they see a drop of blood dripping off of the halo of some three-fourths-naked double-D chick nailed to a perpendicular set of sticks set in front of flaming star, you can bet your worthless empty skull that they're not going to buy that crap. What the hell do you use your brain for anyway?[/quote'] Is that why they edited Gemini Elf, Ressurrection of Chakra and Dark Magician Girl's cleavages out!?AND WHY VOLCANIC HELLFIRE IS CALLED VOLCANIC DOOMFIRE!!? God damn christian zealous parents worrying about what cards they buy for their kids...

Guest PikaPerson01
Things I expect to see when we go OCG: 1) That we get the same product release dates as in Japan 2) Card prices will take a huge nose dive 3) Card name changes (ex: Return Fairy-Type to Angel-Type monsters and Fiend-Type to Demon-Type monsters) 4) Japanese/Asian cards becoming legal for North American tourneys 5) Card Rarity changes Talk about wishful thinking. CrabHelmet
Go Upperdeck! I have no idea who has the legal right here, since I haven't read the contract between UDE and Konami, but I would prefer to see UDE win.

Megaworm
Go UDE! Please' date=' I can't stand to see Konami take over the TCG.[/quote'] who created the card game? and no this isn't a stabby comment, it's something i failed to know. Kazuki Takahashi did something, and it became printed and sold because of UDE or Konami?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Yu-Gi-Oh! was never even supposed to be about the card game. It was only going to be mentioned in a few chapters, but it blew out of proportion >>; On topic: I want whoever makes me the happiest to win. I don't know who that would be, though, due to all this confusion on who does what and when.

Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Upperdeck and Konami should have settled this in a Shadow Duel. Since Konami lost, they go to the Shadow Realm I'm glad Upperdeck won the lawsuit though:)

Fh-Fh
I would prefer Konami to have won. I hate UDE, for personal reasons too vile to discuss. I would also like to see some MGS Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I don't even go to UDE tournaments. I stick to lolocals which, where I live, aren't so lol. We can use any cards there, so long we provide the effect. Things I expect to see when we go OCG: 1) That we get the same product release dates as in Japan 2) Card prices will take a huge nose dive 3) Card name changes (ex: Return Fairy-Type to Angel-Type monsters and Fiend-Type to Demon-Type monsters) 4) Japanese/Asian cards becoming legal for North American tourneys 5) Card Rarity changes gtfo. nao. .....Wait a second... What!? Can someone give me an explanation? Are you illiterate or just stupid? Go Upperdeck! Girfrend I know you didnt just go there.
ShinobiDark72
Confused actually. I was actually asking that to what this topic is about. All I got out of it was that Konami's taking over all Yugioh stuff from UDE. I saw nothing concerning ANYTHING about and OCG-TCG merge, lawsuits or any other thing, mostly because the first post didn't explain anything well enough and I'm too tired and lazy to read through 5 pages. So, I ask again. Explanation plox?
