I used to imagine it as a glass/transparent table with the card sections on both sites with 2 wires at the bottom. One wire would contact to the mains power supply, and the other one would be a USB that contacts to your PC/Laptop. Installed on the PC/Laptop would be the software that came with it on a Disk. The Disk would contain every Registered Yugioh card with the pictures so when you play the Card is recognizes it by checking the Data on the PC. :P, I had a good imagination.
