Multimedia Mod Application Discussion Thread

I have mentioned it before and will mention it again, Being a Mod is not something to wave around at other members. "LOOK AT ME I'M A MOD!" Most people don't seem to understand the responsibility of being a Mod, Luckily I hit the ground running and am proud of what I have achieved. For all of the members who applied, just remember that it's not all fun and Games. Also people who keep going on about their chances will only have their hopes dashed at the end.

I agree with your statement.

Moderation is not really about being a power-hungry, or banning-spree permit but is a great deal of responsibility with this responsibility.

 

Everything else in your statement doesn't make sense, isn't correct or is just stupid.

Don't talk down to other people like your on some magical pedestal that gives you knowlege of everything possible on the subject.

 

Also, I believe this thread should be locked.

As Raven pointed out, this has gotten spammed quite a bit (mostly by me, but w/e) and the mods haven't been chosen.

If this thread goes off topic, it's spam.

If it stays on topic, it's a trip down ego lane with nothing accomplished.

 

The only thing I've figured out from this thread is that Warning Levels get cooler colors when it gets higher, not anything about the mods being chosen.

Opalmoon, I'm not sure how you're seeing my recommendation of Tabris as moderator of the music section as having absolutely nothing to do with the subject of Multimedia Moderation. I also don't think it's fair that you're saying "I'm obsessed with gaining mod powers" when I haven't applied for any position whatsoever and am merely stating who I think would be best for the position.
