Pokemon Gijinka: The Fallen God [OOC/PG-16/Not Accepting]

Recommended Posts

[spoiler=After IC]Karaoke: So yeah at the moment Fiona is in bed. Tried to add something for Clo which basically is just an option to either somehow silence the watchman, let him call out to her and blow her cover, or blow her own cover. Or just leave if she wishes.

Mac: DRAMA! Basically just continuation of the situation but now Mac is there.

NND: Not gonna bother with the stats again for now lol. But basically those icicles will rain down on them as long as they're inside the prison. Also Deoxys gave Brooke a motivator.

Showdown: The time has come to choose where to go from here....that's basically all.

Kinda short one this time, but it's hopefully enough. If you need something from me to continue lemme know.

[spoiler=After IC]Karaoke: So you do you, guys, wake up, respond to things, make your way through the city. If there's anything you want to look for/do/observe just ask me and I can give you details. If you all agree we can make it to the gate in one of your posts.

Also we're on Day 12 now, woo!

Showdown: Please figure out between the two of you where you want to go now ^^;

Mac: Interactions woo! It might be good to ask me for responses and such to move this along more.

NND: Froslass attacked Easter with Ice Shard and Shadow Ball, hit both Easter and Denku with basically an Icicle Crash from the ice prison, and used Substitute to get away from Brooke and onto the top of the remaining half of the prison. They then launched a Shadow Ball at Brooke directly.

Also Yui please message me when you've seen this.

[spoiler=The Cursed Knight]

"Hehe... You never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from."

Personal Information

Name: Mordred Tyrfing
Species: Aegislash
Gender: Male
Age: 36
Favored Legend: Victini
[spoiler=Appearance]
__aegislash_pokemon_drawn_by_katagiri_ha
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 366 LBS

[spoiler=Personality:]
Mordred's a bit of an odd man. He's dark and imposing at first glance, towering over most folks, and most would assume him quiet a sour gijinka. The opposite is actually true, as he's quite an optimistic fellow. He's lived his entire life with a case of bad luck so severe that it wasn't a matter of if something would go wrong, only when, so he's good at seeing the bright side of any situation. He has a morbid sense of humor, once again relating to his bad luck, and is hard to truly surprise. He thinks he's seen everything, and for the most part, he actually has.

Mordred's generally slow to anger, but he holds a close, personal grudge against Dragon-types, and is always quick to pass judgement on them. This is because of the way most dragons treated him growing up in Skuldafn, which is to say, they never gave him any slack. If the opportunity presents itself, he's all too eager to cut them back down to size with extreme prejudice.  It's not impossible for a Dragon-type to gain his trust - many have - but it requires a lot more effort than it should.

He's extremely honorbound. Some would say that it's the natural instinct of an Aegislash, but Mordred is always looking for people he believes possess the qualities to lead, and will follow them as long as he sees fit. During that time, he's thoroughly loyal to them, defending them from threats and helping them accomplish whatever goal they set out to do. Once that goal is done, however, he's quick to vanish into the night again. This is because Mordred generally grows close to anyone that he chooses to help, and he's learned the hard way that the best thing he can do for his loved ones is to get as far away from them as possible. He secretly wishes to one day rid of himself of his cursed luck, so that he can swear his service to a worthy lord and defend them until his dying breath.

[spoiler=Biography:]
Among the Aegislash line of Gijinka, there has always been a legend: "thou who shalt be born to bear bloody arms shall be qualified, powerful, but forever accursed to bring tragedy." Morded was born to a very superstitious family of Aegislash, and so the day he was born with abnormal red and black armor, they feared the worst of him. They had been passing through the city of Skuldafn when he was born, and so they quickly abandoned him at a local orphanage to be rid of him.

Growing up as a Ghost/Steel-type gijinka in Skuldafn was anything but easy. He had no friends, because even the kindest of them couldn't stand to be around him long. Everywhere he went, something went wrong. If he went to a party, someone would sneak in and steal all the gifts while no one was looking. If he went to the market, some dragon accidentally caught all the stalls on fire and ruined all the wares. His room in the orphanage was built specifically to accommodate him - spartan except for his mattress - but even there, the roof leaked on his head. Eventually, people began to notice the common factor in all these scenarios, which was made worse because he wasn't a dragon.

Morded learned to fight just to defend himself from assault. Kids would throw rocks at him, harass him, and on his worst day a group of young dragons that knew Fire-type attacks cornered him and used the type advantage to torment him until he broke free and ran back to the orphanage crying. Eventually, he became skilled enough that even a type advantage wasn't a huge factor. Eventually, people stopped physically harassing him, and he became numb to the emotional side of it.

He stuck around in Skuldafn until he was twenty. Truth be told, he could have left much sooner, but he stayed just so that the citizens had to deal with his bad luck because he hated them. Mordred did eventually leave though, and he wandered for a long time, ghosting from town-to-town with no real goal. He occasionally met good-spirited young men and women who'd set out to accomplish some goal, and he would offer his aid to them, but he always remained distant.

When he was twenty-five, Mordred learned of Victini, a legendary gijinka said to bring good luck. He was intrigued to say the least, and became a Chaser just to find Victini. Of course, over a decade later, he's not had much luck, but the hope that there is a cure to his horrible luck out there is something that keeps him pushing forward.

[spoiler=After IC]NND: The Ice Prison fell, won't do much damage but there is a bunch of ice falling onto anyone still in the area of it.

Froslass took damage, the hail got stronger, Froslass vanished and shot out some Shadow Balls.

Kyurem is standing by Fawkes and is, more/less, struggling against the power of the rod which, and I'll just explain this here for clarity, can only be effectively used if you're strong/willful enough.

Mac:Intereaaactions. Might be good to ask if you guys want to advanced past this place. Otherwise talk or whatever.

Karaoke: Honestly I forgot if people already stated who they were looking for sorry. But anyway move on to the gate and if you want past it. Interact and such unless you decide as a group to move farther then let me know and I can tell you whatever you need to advance.

Showdown: So yeah basically get all settled in for rest and interact and feel free to go to the next morning.

Rest In Piece, Golem of Ice.

[spoiler=After IC]Mac: Interactionssss also a potential side quest if you so wish.

NND: Easter gets smacked by a Blizzard, Kyurem is free and rampaging but evidently vulnerable, and Dora is Dora

Karaoke: Lots happened here but yeah basically the crowd has been turned against the group by an unexpectedly charismatic thug

Showdown: Okay to be honest I will need y'all to be gone from the city before it gets late because of awkward continuity. I'm sure you'll need info so feel free to ask things.

[spoiler=After IC]Mac: Kah and Mac are talking and the others are led to frog NPC man. Respond and talk and if you want lines let me know.

NND: Dora is being Dora. Kyurem is freezing sheet, including what amounts to a glancing blow on Denku. Deoxys fired back with Flash Cannon. And Froslass had an Ice Shard heading for Easter and a Shadow Ball for Dora.

Feel free to take multiple actions.

Karaoke: With that business resolved, onward to Juyu! Check the map if you forgot what it looks like and remember that a lot of it is broken. Many refugees all over the place. And yes the Charizard is the one who once upon a time was in this RP. Not played by anyone but there.

Showdown: Tell the froggy what's going on, he won't react well, feel free to make up his lines if you want while remembering he's a Naruto-like and innocent child who will be very sad his father isn't around.

Also days updated in the OP under the Group section. We're close to being around the same timeline guys, woo!

And now for Team Alola!

Conditions!

Follow the app already in the OP except for the following areas

Species: Must be a Pokemon from Alola. In that must either be a Pokemon that is or evolves into an Alolan Pokemon or a Pokemon exclusive to Alola (Such as say Cubone, Alolan Raichu, Rowlet, and Comfey).

Favored Legend: Unnecessary

Biography: See below spoiler

Level: Level limit is 50

Moves/Powers: If desired the special move can be replaced with a Z-Move

[spoiler=Biography]So here's the plan. Your characters must obviously be from Alola and this is what will be needed as part of their history.

Alola has been attacked by an unknown army, leading what seems to be strange Beasts that had never been seen before. The characters can not have come in contact with any of these directly and they must be fleeing the region.

In the company of Sogaleo and Lunala, whom they found, wounded, as they were making their escape. While on their ship towards Adarid, the two legends seemed to have realized something was going on in Adarid and left the group.

Any number of people can apply. However once I choose three apps to go along with Sethera's, who will be the 1st of 4 members, they must do a brief PM RP together on the ship; their characters interacting as they reach Northshore on Day 1. Only if you're found to be able to do this together in a timely manner will I allow you into the RP.

Note: Anyone can apply, even those not in the RP.

-A Challenger Approaches-

[spoiler=Get Those Crowds ROARing!]

5bGoK6n.png

"You've messed with the rest...now get ready, to take on the best! The Rising Sun...RANDY ROARTON!!"

x393wz.jpg

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Randy "The Rising Sun" Roarton
Species: Incineroar
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Favored Legend: Solgaleo

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Money/Items:]

  • 1500 Poké
  • Map of Region
  • Incinium Z (put on a chain and worn as a necklace around his neck)
  • Lemonade
  • Fire Gem
  • Black Belt
  • TM - Acrobatics

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance:]

incineroar_da_by_leomon32-dampok0.jpg

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 183 lbs

At first glance, one would think that Randy is older than he is, given his appearance looking like it. However, this is something he inherited from his father, which he looks older when he really isn't.

Depicted above is Randy's general clothing appearance. The only difference from the general appearance is that Randy wears a necklace with his Incinium Z hanging around it. Outside of the general clothing appearance of Randy, he does seem to have a very obvious snaggle-tooth on the left side of his mouth, which is plain to see whenever he talks or even smiles.

x393wz.jpg
[spoiler=Personality:]

Whats a professional fighter to do...or rather act? Would it be arrogant and cocky in his own abilities? Well, that is one area that Randy definitely has going for him. While he doesn't treat those around him in an arrogant manner, he does show his arrogance and cockiness whenever he's fighting against his opponents, whether it be in a professional match or even outside of the ring.

While his arrogance and cockiness in his abilities is a defining feature of this Incineroar Gijinka, it doesn't define him fully. In truth, Randy is a kind-hearted and gentle giant to those around him (be it friends or even fans) and does whatever he can to go out of his way to help them with whatever they need. Along with this, Randy has a sense of humor and will try his best to joke around however he can (be it by telling a bad joke or even by doing something silly). However one of his weaknesses that is present happens to be his pride. While he is a generally nice Incineroar, he is a bit too proud. His pride wants him to be seen as an individual who's strong and is always wanting to be seen in such a manner.

In battle, as stated, he shows a great deal of arrogance and cockiness in his abilities when he fights. However, there is also a bit of his pride sprinkled into the mix, but is it the pride of being a fighter or his personal Incineroar pride? That is something most people around him wonder...but to Randy, its definitely a combination of both. And in the area of defeat in battle, Randy might lose his cool ever so slightly (he's a Fire type, cut him some slack), but he's still gracious in defeat...taking it as a learning opportunity to see where he can improve.

x393wz.jpg
[spoiler=Biography:]

"Sit back and I'll tell ya my story...the story of the brightest star to grace the world!"

Born and raised in Alola, Randy Roarton was one that knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life: being a pro wrestler. Its something that always captivated the young Litten and he wanted to be just like his childhood heroes: the Alolan Golem known as "The Boulder" and the shiny Incineroar, known only by the mask he wore: "Sol Mask". Between these two, it made Randy really want to become a star just like them, and to have people cheering for him.

As the years went by, Randy tried his best to practice and do the moves he possibly could, trying to emulate his childhood heroes. However as time went by, Randy saw that Sol Mask had lost a match against a new upcoming Pokémon wrestler, a Blastoise, who challenged Sol Mask for his championship title. Unfortunately, it was a match that was played dirty and to the opponent's favor, ultimately ending in Sol Mask's defeat and immediate retirement from the Professional Pokémon Gijinka Wrestling Federation (PPGWF). After this, it was rumored that Sol Mask dropped off the face of the world. Enraged at this, Randy kept practicing and training, wanting to avenge his childhood hero and challenge the new champion. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to beat him right away, but he knew if he worked his way up the ranks...he would.

When he finally evolved into an Incineroar, Randy joined the PPGWF and started to make his name...and boy did he make it. Upon joining, he won his first official match and swore he'd be going straight to the top to knock the "king" off his throne. At this point, Randy Roarton was labeled a "Heel" while the Blastoise continued to be the PPGWF's "Face". Nevertheless, Randy didn't care about that...he let his actions do the talking. However, good things never last for long...

On the eve of the match that would allow Randy to reach the tier of the PPGWF's top wrestlers, something happened on Alola. The islands came under attack by a strange army with some strange beasts leading them. Randy would've absolutely love to bash heads in, but he thought of the young children that were in the midst of the panicked escape from this, so he made sure they were safe instead. Randy made it to the escape boat with the children, reuniting them with their families, only to see a strange sight...both Solgaleo and Lunala...wounded terribly. He was impressed that such legends were here...and wounded terribly. As the ship left the islands, Randy was wanting and planning to speak to at least Solgaleo about what happened to them, unfortunately they were already gone...somehow.

With all this happening, Randy is hoping that things will eventually go back to normal...at least just long enough for him to kick the hell out of the Blastoise.

  • Darkest Lariat | Dark | Physcial - "These fists of mine overflow with a powerful darkness! Their deathly glow tell me to grasp victory! HERE I GO!! DARKEST LARIAT!!!" Randy swings both his arms and hits the target. The target's stat changes don't affect this attack's damage.
  • Brick Break | Fighting | Physical - The user attacks with a swift chop. It can also break barriers, such as Light Screen and Reflect.
  • Fire Fang | Fire | Physical - The user bites with flame-cloaked fangs. This may also make the target flinch or leave it with a burn.
  • Fire Blast | Fire | Special - The target is attacked with an intense blast of all-consuming fire. This may also leave the target with a burn.
  • Acrobatics | Flying | Physical - The user nimbly strikes the target. If the user is not holding an item, this attack inflicts massive damage.
  • Malicious Moonsault | Dark - This Z Move is unique to Randy and Incineroars as long as they have the Incinium Z. The user strengthens its body using its Z-Power and crashes into the opponent at full force.

x393wz.jpg
Misc. Information

x393wz.jpg

Randy's Theme | Battle Theme

  • Randy's name is a literal pun off of an actual professional wrestler's name: Randy Orton.
  • Another name that was considered for Randy was "Kekoa", which was Hawaiian for "the warrior".
  • Randy does speak with a Hawaiian accent, this being a nod towards Incineroar's origination in the Alola region, the Hawaii of the Pokémon world.
  • Randy happens to be quite fond of drinking Lemonade after a battle. However, his one weakness happens to be in the form of the food, Lava Cookies.
  • Randy's two childhood wrestling heroes are based off two other wrestlers: The Boulder - The Alolan Golem is literally based off Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Sol Mask - The shiny Incineroar is actually based on a wrestler by the ring name "Tiger Mask", a character from a manga, but happens to be the persona of countless professional Japanese wrestlers. That said, Sol Mask, instead of wearing a Incineroar (tiger) mask, he wears a Solgaleo (lion) mask
  • Fun fact: Incineroar have the similar color style and appearance to a "Tiger Mask W" character: Tiger the Dark. That character is also usually known in the wrestling world as a "Heel" or a villain-esque character, something that Incineroar reflects as its Pokémon classification: Heel Pokémon.

Yes hello I am interested in a Team Alola position. and have waited a long time for this opportunity.

[spoiler=Lycanroc]

vXsHcDI.png

"Awooooo!"

iU8EggM.png

Name: Lucine

Species: Lycanroc-Midnight

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Items: 500 Poké, Big Malasada x3, Sitrus Berry, Fresh Water

[spoiler=Appearance]Pw2i5Df.png
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 157 pounds

If it were anyone else, Lucine's appearance would probably be fairly intimidating. After all, her hair and fur has a distinct dark red color offset by the light grays and near-black tips, to say nothing of her ruby red eyes or her razor-sharp claws and teeth. However, since it is Lucine, even these traits don't exactly make her seem like a predator when contrasted by her soft and squishy skin (especially her face!) and the almost plush-like texture of her red fur. The gray, as with any Lycanroc, has a rough, rock-like texture to it.

Unlike some who may be jagged and angular in their appearance, Lucine is all curves and spheres. Barring her claws and teeth, there's not a sharp point or hard angle to be found on her body, She's got a particularly round head, her limbs are almost like tubes protruding from her body, and there's not a particular lack of "frontal spheres" on her part either. However, cuddly though she may look, there aren't any otherwise distinguishing features on Lucine.

[spoiler=Personality]In life, there are people who are just naturally scary. Lucine is the furthest thing from such people, but not for lack of trying. She has her Lycanroc pride to see to, and as a Midnight Lycanroc, she believes that such a thing means that she has to be scary to others, and not seem like the squishy blob of hugs and fun she actually is. Lucine, much to her dismay, couldn't scare a newborn with a family history of wolf phobias. However, her fun-loving nature shouldn't be mistaken for any sort of weakness or helplessness. Lucine's actually a pretty competent young woman, perfectly capable of taking care of herself for the most part. Much to her dismay, she has trouble holding a job, but outside of that, she's a highly independant girl who'd rather do the chores herself than ask someone else to do them for her. She's also got a surprisingly sturdy heart, not easily angered or saddened, and always able to see the positive in something.

She uses this optimism to its fullest, too. If somebody's feeling down, Lucine will do her best to help them realize that, even if things suck right now, the world is a pretty good place overall. Things can't possibly suck forever, so Lucine encourages people to keep their chin up, their eyes forward, and their thoughts positive. That's not to say she's just blindly optimistic, or will recklessly encourage others to look at the up side. She knows that there are some situations too grave to take lightly, and that there are times when it's better to just leave people alone so they can work things out on their own. She'll give them space, but reluctantly so, and will usually be the first one to come running back to them, beaming smile on her face and hugs at the ready. Lucine actually gets lonely quite easily, and craves lots of interaction with lots of people. She isn't afraid to make the first move either, especially if the person in question interests her.

Lucine is also a girl with a strong sense of kinship. When she deems somebody a friend, they'll most likely stay that way for life, and she values family immensely. Be it her own family or others getting along with their families and living happily, there are few things Lucine takes more seriously than family. With her elders, she's humble and respectful, as if listening to the wisdom of her parents. With kids, she tries to be fun and reliable, but also cautious of their safety. She hates to end up disappointing anyone, and if she makes a promise, she'll uphold it come hell or high water.

She likely won't get violent for it though. It should be noted that, unless attacked first or otherwise provoked (such as seeing a defenseless victim being attacked), Lucine is totally harmless. She isn't scary at all even when she tries to be, and in the unlikely event that she does manage to spook somebody, she'll even apologize to them before dropping the shoddy attempts at being scary. Her history of violence is extremely short, since she doesn't like hurting people and only ever does it if it's necessary. Even verbal conflict just doesn't suit her; she doesn't have the quick wit and rigidness needed to contest her points versus someone else's, which also results in her being a poor negotiator and totally lacking in deceptive skills. Lucine also can't keep a secret for the life of her; do not trust her with sensitive information.

What she lacks in the aggression that would probably go miles to make her more intimidating, Lucine makes up for in faith. In herself, in others, in the Flying Malasada Monster, just faith in general. She's the girl who loses the lottery five-hundred times, yet remains certain she can win the next one, or believes any plan - no matter how crazy - can work with enough effort and a bit of luck. Combined with her optimistic personality, Lucine's sheer faith in everything makes it virtually impossible to make her give up at something until it's done, no matter how many times she fails. To her, each failure is just a lesson in how not to do something before trying again. And she will try again until she gets it right.

[spoiler=Biography]Lucine was part of a big family in the lovely Alola Region. Youngest of eleven children, Lucine was born a pure-bred Rockruff, just like her siblings, her parents, and their parents before them, going as far back as anyone can care to trace. They were good folks, sweet as can be, but they took the whole pedigree thing pretty seriously. Lucine's family was rather traditional like that. Speaking of tradition, it was a family tradition among Lucine's folks that the general idea of their future career be decided when they evolve from Rockruff to Lycanroc, depending on when they evolve, and thus, what form they take. Lucine evolved at night, and appropriately became a Midnight Lycanroc.

As a Midnight Lycanroc, Lucine's family insisted that the ideal careers for her be such jobs that would benefit from an imposing appearance, a sturdy body, or otherwise advantages Midnight Lycanrocs had over their Midday counterparts. So, Lucine tried jobs the other Midnight Lycanrocs from among her siblings had been successful in. Despite being of a rather intimidating breed, Lucine's appearance was still soft and cuddly, so being a bouncer didn't work out. Nobody took her seriously when she was a security guard, and bodyguard work was just...no. She even tried being hired muscle for a criminal organization at one point, but violence for the sake of violence or cruelty just wasn't in her, and even that job failed. Lucine feared she'd be stuck in some dead-end waitress job where customers talked about how cute she was or poked her cheeks, but her dreams lied elsewhere. In an even less likely place for her to succeed. Pro wrestling.

In Lucine's defense, the dream was a huge fluke on fate's part. Lucine had immense respect for her eldest sibling, a fellow Midnight Lycanroc, who himself wanted to be a wrestler. His room was adorned with wrestling merchandise, he'd often read magazines about wrestling, and in general it was pretty easy for Lucine to subconsciously make a connection between her eldest brother and wrestling. When she was feeling down about her unsuccessful search for a good job, her brother brought her to a match last year to lift her spirits, featuring an up-and-coming heel named Randy Roarton and an old pro called Turt Angle. The fight was intense, the crowd was hyped, and Lucine got washed away in the waves of excitement. She wanted to bring that same kind of excitement to people that she experienced watching the two wrestlers, even if she wasn't much of a fighter. When she confided in her brother about her new dream, he taught her how to fight in a way that used her tough body as an advantage. However, neither Lucine nor her brother ever got a chance to properly enter the world of wrestling, even if her brother did get registered as part of the PPGWF.

Not long before her brother's first match, the Alola Region was attacked. Evacuations began, and in the panic, Lucine got separated from her family and possessions, stuck on a boat bound for Adarid. She later learned that she was on the same boat as - and thus bound for the same destination as - Randy Roarton himself. While she's pretty stoked about that, Lucine's been more concerned about not only her family, but both Solgaleo and Lunala who were brought onto the Adarid-bound ship, but went missing at some point during the voyage. She's got a lot of questions that need answering right now, and she's determined to get her answers, find her family, and show the world that she can be strong and scary.

iU8EggM.png

Level: 26

Ability: Keen Eye: Lucine's got quite the set of peepers. Even in the worst of conditions, she can see exactly what she's doing, and trying to be all elusive just doesn't work once you've got her attention.

[spoiler=Moves/Powers]Stone Edge: Despite being a Midnight Lycanroc, Lucine's actually lacking a bit in the muscle department. Instead, when she goes for an all-out attack like this, she uses her weight. Every bit of it goes into a swinging attack that will use any combination of her claws or the rocky mane atop her head. Because she's sorta just swinging with her entire body weight, it's not too unlikely that she'll actually miss her target, but at the same time, when she does hit, there's a good chance she'll hit a sore spot just through sheer force.

Counter: The specialty of a Midnight Lycanroc! ...or so she's been told. Lucine powers through the next attack, then retaliates with even greater power onto the exposed opponent. Since retaliating involves being within swinging range, this won't work if somebody, say, fired a laser beam at her.

Protect: Lucine can eat up attacks with the best of them when she puts her mind to it, and this move is proof of that. Assuming a defensive stance, Lucine hangs tight for a bit and powers her way through any attacks thrown at her within a brief timeframe, coming out none the worse for wear. Powering through too many attacks in a row is a bad idea, and as a result, using this multiple times in a row will probably cause it to fail.

Rock Polish: Please don't ask. By using this ability, Lucine can sharply increase her speed, making her way faster in a fight.

Howl: Lucine howls as ferociously as she can (it's not scary at all) to get her blood pumping. Increases her fighting spirit and causes her attack to go up.

Ravage: Only usable if Lucine has sustained significant damage. Upon using this ability, Lucine pushes her adrenal glands into full gear to go on a rampage against her opponents. This sharply increases her attack and speed, but as a tradeoff, all of her attacks cause recoil damage since she shouldn't be exerting as much force as she does in this state. Lasts until combat ends or Lucine is KO'd by an opponent's attack or her own recoil damage.

iU8EggM.png

[spoiler=Misc]Lucine's diet mostly consists of meat, though fruits and veggies are perfectly safe for her to eat too. Seafood, however, makes her sick.

Not really one for junk food or sweets for the most part, but Lucine has yet to say no to a malasada.

Actually a morning person. Lucine has trouble staying up late at night, in fact, and is seldom awake after ten at night.

X1mEOsb.png?2

Height: 4'10"

Weight: 90 lbs

Marie does not wear the conical cap shown in the image.

Not shown, as they are somewhat covered by her hair, are the classic blue floppy ears of a Popplio.

OiPJaxf.png?1

Height: 5'0"

Weight: 105 lbs

Her feet are also shaped more like flippers, making her more adept at swimming.

[spoiler=Personality]

Caring at heart, Marie does her best to both keep people safe as best she can. As such, she is a bit of a worrywart and tends to try to dissuade people from doing anything that she would consider dangerous or reckless. As such, when someone does either of these kinds of things she is sure to reprimand them for it, tending to be somewhat blunt. Trying to present herself as much more mature then her age would suggest, she also cares for neither age nor height when it comes to those that she reprimands. When it comes to dealing with those she would deem as "mean" or "bullies" she would much rather scold and talk away then she would actively fight.

Marie also tries her best to make sure that everyone remains happy. As such, she tries to have an outwardly cheery disposition about her, and tries to keep the spirits up of those around her. Despite actually being pragmatic herself, not trying to delude herself with unrealistic and overly positive thoughts, she tries to give off an optimistic vibe to help others get back on their feet whenever they're down. However, she also does not like making others worry about things. As such, she tries to keep any and all problems and stress she has to herself, as well as generally refusing help from others if she is struggling with something.

Despite this aura of maturity and emotional stability she seeks to give off,  she is still ultimately a kid. As such, she is prone to not making the best decisions herself, and is likely not always right in what she says. Furthermore, she is still prone to irritation and anger. The quickest way to irritate Marie would be to both treat her as a child, and disregard, either her efforts or words, for being a child. When her irritation turns to anger, her tone becomes more aggressive and her scolding becomes more like yelling. Taken a step beyond that and she can become violent. While she does her best to try and stay composed, trying to keep a brave face when others might not, she does have a great fear of being alone. As such, when she believes she is either lost from anyone familiar or abandoned, it will usually result in sobbing.

[spoiler=Bio]

Born an only child to a pair of rather prolific of performers. Marie had never actually met her parents, and only knew of what they were like from what others had told her. Her parents, while known to be kind and sincere individuals, also had a streak of being flighty and irresponsible. Given that they hadn't even planned to have Marie, they decided that it would do the young girl no good to expose her to their kind of environment and nature, and that there were likely parents that could do much better then them. As such, before taking off for a trip to a completely different region, they had left their child in the care of an old Drampa, both a friend and fan to the couple. While they promised to visit, after embarking on their trip, they were never seen in Alola again. And so, this Drampa was the only family that Marie knew of, much less remember, growing up. While they were a kind old dragon, they were still a bit forgetful and absent minded. As such, just as he was able to take care of her by providing for her, the young girl had to learn how to help and take care of him. As such her much earlier years were spent almost entirely indoors, and her free time was spent mostly reading books, trying to learn more about what her parents did, and trying to learn those skills herself. The only times she had ever actually gone outside and met with others was when she went on shopping trips with her caretaker.

Eventually, on one such trip, the young Popplio had gotten themselves split from the old Drampa. While looking for him, she had met with a few kids who were being picked on by others. Thinking that these bullies were doing something wrong, she went to go scold them in a similar way that the old Drampa did to her when she did something wrong. While the bullies were confused by this sudden appearance, the situation was taken care of when some others had taken note of the scene being made. Thankful for the young Popplio's help. she became friends with the others. From then on, the girl had started to go outside much more often and began hanging out with her new found friends. While the time spent with them was fun, due to being kids, at times the group would find themselves getting into trouble as a result. Realizing that getting into trouble was a bad thing, the girl often took it upon herself to try and steer her friends away from trouble whenever she thought they were going to.

These peaceful and fun times of Marie's were then brought to a halt. While she was out having fun with her friends, her home region had suddenly been beset by strange an alien beasts. When the attack had hit and panic had ensued, the young Popplio had tried her best to simply try and find her friends and caretaker. However, being unsuccessful, she was eventually taken away from the scene, unwillingly, by a man who was simply aiding with evacuations, put on a ship to a region known as Adarid.

[spoiler=Pokestuff]

Level: 17(11)

Ability:

Torrent - Whenever sufficiently injured, Marie's water type attacks are all powered up.
Moves/Powers:

  • I Can Do It! - Fighting at your peak is all about having a certain state of mind. Marie can take the time to motivate herself to get closer to this peak, raising both her physical and special attack power. (Work Up)
  • Disarming Voice - Making a sharp, yet melodious sound, a pulse of mystic energy is let loose at the opponent. Listen I don't know either.
  • Water Gun  -  Marie can create a ball of water and fire it. It kind of hurts.
  • Icy Wind -  After small inhale, Marie is able to let loose a stream of cold air at a single target, slowing the target down when they're hit by it.
  • Rain Dance - By letting out a soft, melancholy tune, Marie is able to change the weather around her to suddenly start raining.
  • Seafoam Sonata - A lesser version of techniques known only to Primarinas, Oceanic Operetta. By letting out a few soft notes and holding them, Marie conjures two large orbs of water, before firing them at a single target. The two orbs explode on contact dealing a sizable amount of damage.

Money/Items:

  • A blue gem that supposedly belonged to her mother.
  • Deck of Cards
  • 2 Sweet Malasada
  • 50 Poke
  • Mystic Water

Misc:

  • Marie's mother is a Primarina and her father an Espeon.
  • Marie likes to sing and knows very basic magic tricks.
  • While not actually a chaser, one of Marie's favorite legends they ever read about was Kyogre. After all, if one could do a simple performance to make it start raining, then Kyogre was likely to be a great performer themselves.
  • Marie's favorite Alolan Legend is Tapu Fini, though this is likely due just to the similar typing.

Skype(Optional): I know where you live

[spoiler=The Crackling Thunder of Justice]

"Evildoers be wear, for I am the cracking thunder of JUSTICE! Evil shall not stand in my way!

~ General Information ~

Allias: Static Boom

Name: Hope Crozier

Species: Vikavolt

Gender: Female
Age: 26
Favored Legend: Lunala, Solgaleo, and all of the members of the Sword of Justice quartet
[spoiler=Appearance]
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 164.3 lbs

GozZWZ7.png

Underneath the helmet lays a young woman with light-tan skin and long hair that she keeps in a bun as to not be uncomfortable underneath the helmet. Hope has bright, green eyes. Beneath the layers of blue plating around her body is a relatively flexible suit;one that is not too dissimilar to a swim suit that reaches up to her ankles (note: the white things around her legs are part of the suit and not the armor plating). All of the blue parts are detachable, and she tends to detach them when resting in a place where she can safely store them away. Her wings, however, are a natural part of her body, just like her species in general. They can be tucked away underneath 2 shell-like plates common to her species. Her armor is an adaptation of traditional Vikavolt combat armor, which consists of blue plating not unlike the kind that she wears.

~ Character Information ~

[spoiler=Personality]

Hope has always had a sense of heroism and justice, even before she took on the persona of Static Boom, having to look after not only her brother but also her mother. She is always willing to risk her own life to save others, leaving her to charge head-first into dangerous situations without hesitation. Despite all the fame that she had gotten over the years, Hope has remained relatively humble, rarely bragging about her own achievements to others. As a hero, she has to be selfless to be able to help others. Luckily, this isn't a problem for Hope, as she is fairly selfless. Her first priority in most of the actions she does is to save civilians. She is often confused as a man while in full Static Boom mode, which doesn't really bother her as much unless its specifically because of her smaller breasts, which she is self-conscious about. Depending on who is pointing it out, she will either say quiet about it if the person is not doing out of ill intentions to not make the other person feel bad, or she will lash out at them if they're doing it to personally insult her.

Hope is also very stubborn and headstrong; there isn't much that can stop her one she puts her mind onto doing something. She often overwhelms herself trying to help everyone she can, and in general has a tenancy to bite more than she can chew. She also has a tenancy to take on blame for things that she at worst is indirectly responsible for. While not a complete dullard, thinking and planning isn't really Hope's strong suit, which pairs poorly with her tenancy to charge into battle. Hope is exceptionally dramatic when in the persona of Static Boom; this is most apparent by the fact that she tends to talk like a hero from an old cartoon. She also has a tenancy to hide her emotions from others, as she doesn't want others to worry about her. This bottling of emotions makes it difficult for her to open up completely with people.

[spoiler=Biography]

Hope was born and raised in Alola in a small family consisting of her father and a brother five years younger than her - her mother, a foreign Heracross, left her father shortly before her birth. This, of course, left her with the responsibility of having to help take care of her father and, more importantly, her little brother. While having her parents be away was a big shake up, the family managed to stay strong together and pull through. Due to having to help take care of her family at a young age, she grew a sense of duty to protect others.

As a child she had always been a fan of heroes - whether they were actual heroic chasers, Legenady Pokemon that fought for justice, or face wrestlers who would take on the heels, Hope was following them vigorously. Out of all of the heroes that she followed, however, was a famous hero that went by the name "The Surge Surfer" - a Raichu that came from her hometown, and thus would come back from time to time and tell tales of his heroic journeys. It was said that he even had the honor of sparing with the Alolan legends! When she became a young adult, she dedicated her life to becoming a hero like her idol and, with the support of his family, started training vigorously to become stronger.

Eventually she became a sort of local hero to her small hometown, stopping petty criminals from stealing purses and the like. One time she even stopped a murder from happening. On that faithful day, when the young man that he had saved asked for her name, she took on the persona of Static Boom. Her local heroism and general strength would eventually catch the attention of others outside of her small hometown, and she would turn into a sort of local hero-in-training.

However, things would take a turn for the worse when the strange beasts attacked Alola. At first, she wanted to take on the beasts on his own. However, as a hero-in-training, she realized two things - one, it was her first priority was to make sure the people were safe and two, he could not take on an army on his own. So she helped escort many of the civilians away from the danger radius, including her father and brother, whom she had to say goodbye with the promise of seeing them again. While she was taking her family to safety, she met with 2 gijinka she never thought she would see with her own eyes - Lunala and Solgaleo were with the boats, injured. When she was sure that no one was left behind, she boarded on one of the boats with a small bag of items and the mentality to gather up a team of gijinka to return and take back Alola. However, when Solgaleo and Lunana left the group her priority shifted - she had to make sure the duo was safe.

~ Combat Information ~

Level 37

Abilities

  • Levitate: With the help of the wings on her back and the power of justice, Hope can fly a short distance above the ground, granting her immunity to grounded attacks.

Attacks:

  • Charge Beam: Hope fires off a charged electric beam out of the top of her wrist, dealing a bit of damage. Using this attack powers up her electrical power.
  • Bug Buzz: Hope vibrates her wings fast enough to cause sonic blasts of sound in the area in front of her, hurting anyone in the blast zone and potentially sending them back. The more electrical power she has, the faster she can vibrate those wings for more devastating attacks.
  • Zap Cannon: While it takes a while to charge, the immense beam fired from her belt is charged with enough electrical power to leave the target paralyzed. However, due to its long start-up time it isn't difficult to dodge if you're aware. Charges slightly faster with more electric power, however Zap Cannon will deplete any excess electrical power gained by Charge Beam.  This attack can be used without any charges from Charge Beam, but will leave the user weakened if done so.
  • Acrobatics: With swift heroic movement, Hope fights up-close with extreme acrobatics. Basically, this move serves as her basics of CQC.
  • Gigavolt Havok: Building up all the electrical energy he has into her fist, Hope can fire off a devastating punch packed with electrical power. If charged enough, the attack will guarantee a paralysis. However, as like Zap Cannon, this attack will us up all the excess electrical power she had. This attack can be used without any charges from Charge Beam, but will leave the user weakened if done so.

After some quick thought, I'll probably apply for fun for now, without any real thought of getting in. If somehow of the three apps I get picked, I'll think again whether I can handle another role to play before deciding whether to go with her or not. Do keep this in mind when deciding whose characters get in Team Alola.

[spoiler=Happily Ever After]

7JRhN2J.png
Salina Sycily
Species: Salazzle
Gender: Female
Age: 22

Level: 22
[spoiler=Appearance]FD2G0Lf.png

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 120 lbs

Her forked tongue is a good length longer than usual, and despite her attempts to hide them with makeup, her red body markings glow when under stress.

[spoiler=Personal Information]Personality

To put simply, a dumb bimbo, and she's fine with that. Salina is a woman with high sexual appeal and does not hesitate to utilize it to get what she wants. She's willing to sleep around and enjoys doing the act a fair bit, usually with men who aren't close acquaintances, and in general is a person who enjoys being a woman of allure to her fullest. She's quick to flirt and very assertive, even aggressive. Although it turns people who prefer submissive women away, she still manages to find a good number of victims so she doesn't lack confidence. On the other hand, she does not get along with (and she would say she loathes) men who are too dense and won't blatantly reject her. She also dislikes men who do that right off the bat, so in a way she simply doesn't like men she can't charm. She won't pursue someone when it makes them too uncomfortable, but she also won't try to be nice to them. To women, she's threatened by those with even higher sexual appeal than her but otherwise will quickly warm up to most. As for kids, she loves them but feels lost on how to behave around them since she doesn't want to corrupt their innocence.

In matters unrelated to sex or romantic social interaction, she is more airheaded. She forgot most of the things she learned in basic education and although she does like men who are studious and work hard, she doesn't really understand the appeal herself. She feels she doesn't have much talent in other areas and has convinced herself she doesn't mind it, but she does dream of being good at music. As a compromise she sings to herself sometimes.

Although she craves men, she also doesn't trust them or desire a long-standing relationship with one. Because of who she is, it's not very often that a man would take interest in her as anything but a woman, and other women feel threatened by her femininity. Therefore she cherishes the few personal relationships she has, and would do anything to protect it. If she had a close friend who was a man, she wouldn't sleep with him. She would be very supportive of her friends in their endeavors and demand almost nothing in return, just that their friendship would continue for days to come.

Biography

A native Alolan, Salina spends her days with her two friends Mathilda and Priscilla, the former a fellow Salazzle and the latter a Mareanie. Although she has many acquaintances(mostly male), she doesn't know a lot of people who would consider her an actual friend. Therefore she trusts the two friends she does have very much, even if they don't share her particular hobby of manhunting. Salina's family cannot be described as rich by any means but the financial struggles they faced were minor and Salina cannot be said to have had a lacking childhood. Her first crush was an older Decidueye man that did not go anywhere.

With her two friends, Salina lived a very happy life on Alola, such that she truly could not ask for anything more, to the point where one could say she's rather sheltered. One day however, Alola was attacked by an army of monsters. Fortunately, she wasn't near the area that was struck and was safely evacuated away alongside a few others. However, neither of her two friends are with her and Salina fears the worst may have happened to them.

[spoiler=Combat information]Ability

Oblivious - Immune to taunting and infatuation and various other forms of psychological manipulation.
Moves/Powers

Flamethrower - The one offensive skill in her moveset. She breathes fire from her lips. Neither the range or power are phenomenal but it keeps people away from her in a pinch. The way she likes to do it, a high-pitched whistling-like sound rings as the fire comes out.

Torment - Through eye contact, Salina compels her target to vary their attacks. The same attack or skill cannot be used twice in a row. It does not last long if eye contact is not continuously held.

Encore - Rouses her targets to repeat the same attack or skill through the sounds of her clapping. Synergizes nicely with Torment.

Captivate - Attracts men with a short dance that displays her high femininity and sexual allure. The momentary distraction is more than enough to make most attacks miss completely, and is at least massively weakened even if they hit. Women are unaffected.

Salina Inverted - Through words, Salina can command people to do something and they would feel a natural impulsion to do the opposite. It's a weak form of suggestion that would normally be too weak to be effective, but in the midst of combat filled with distractions, and with her other skills, her words can at least reliably make an opponent pause in their tracks, attempting to break away from the suggestion.

In combat, she's developed a skillset that takes advantage of her charm but she doesn't particularly have anything decisive, preferring not to fight at all. Instead her moveset is mostly distractions of different varieties, which ironically lets her fulfill a unique support niche should she ever have to fight. It's been said by those who's seen her fight that her style resembles a dance.

Money/Items: Piece of cheap jewelry, make-up kit, 200 coin.

So, yeah, I'm withdrawing my Mimikyu. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, because I don't want to stay on this forum, but I don't want to leave this RP. It's quite the predicament,

The only answer I have thus far is just giving Cowcow my posts so he can put them in host posts. I dunno, I'll figure something out.

First I will say I will look over the current characters tomorrow and bring up any issues I see. Very soon I'll be picking the three but I'm unsure when exactly. But please get the characters up as soon as you can. Early characters get the advantage of me knowing you're interested.

[spoiler=After IC]Karaoke: If you want to interact with the NPCs and want more to go on feel free to ask me things because you're in a spot where it can go either slowly or quickly.

The Charizard is Aegon from the OP btw. I don't feel comfortable controlling him much so please don't try and get too in depth with interacting with them.

Mac: Sorry Yui for not much to go on but here's your chance to bond with an old boar, isn't that wonderful?

As for the others. Basically the idea here is convince the Politoed you are good people.

NND: Froslass hit Easter with a Blizzard and is now trying. TRYING. to escape. And Kyurem is locked in a mighty struggle. Denku can either barely take the hits or will be knocked out, I will leave it in your hands, Saiku.

Showdown: Yes I time and spaced jumped you. Also yes 100 Poke is lost. Also the "Taiga on head" is cause Dark type ;) Now this is important. DO NOT POST UNTIL SETHERA DOES. Sethera this is your cue to jump in with I think you know which NPC

Reminder that Sethera's character is automatically in and the three spots available do not include their character. That being said I will discuss any possible issues with them (both with their character and with these other characters) so keep that in mind.

Personal Information

Name: Randy "The Rising Sun" Roarton
Species: Incineroar
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Favored Legend: Solgaleo

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Money/Items:]

  • 500 Poké
  • Incinium Z (put on a chain and worn as a necklace around his neck)
  • 2x Full Restore
  • Lemonade

[spoiler=Appearance:]

incineroar_da_by_leomon32-dampok0.jpg

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 183 lbs

Depicted above is Randy's general clothing appearance. The only difference from the general appearance is that Randy wears a necklace with his Incinium Z hanging around it. Outside of the general clothing appearance of Randy, he does seem to have a very obvious snaggle-tooth on the left side of his mouth, which is plain to see whenever he talks or even smiles.

x393wz.jpg
[spoiler=Personality:]

In battle, as stated, he shows a great deal of arrogance and cockiness in his abilities when he fights. However, there is also a bit of his pride sprinkled into the mix, but is the pride of being a fighter or his personal Incineroar pride? That is something most people around him wonder...but to Randy, its definitely a combination of both. And in the area of defeat in battle, Randy might lose his cool ever so slightly (he's a Fire type, cut him some slack), but he's still gracious in defeat...taking it as a learning opportunity to see where he can improve.

x393wz.jpg
[spoiler=Biography:]

"Sit back and I'll tell ya my story...the story of the brightest star to grace the world!"

Born and raised in Alola, Randy Roarton was one that knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life: being a pro wrestler. Its something that always captivated the young Litten and he wanted to be just like his childhood heroes: the Alolan Golem known as "The Boulder" and the shiny Incineroar, known only by the mask he wore: Sol Mask.

  • Darkest Lariat - "These fists of mine overflow with a powerful darkness! It's deathly glow tell me to grasp victory! HERE I GO!! DARKEST LARIAT!!!" Randy swings both his arms and hits the target. The target's stat changes don't affect this attack's damage.
  • Brick Break - The user attacks with a swift chop. It can also break barriers, such as Light Screen and Reflect.
  • Fire Fang - The user bites with flame-cloaked fangs. This may also make the target flinch or leave it with a burn.
  • Fire Blast - The target is attacked with an intense blast of all-consuming fire. This may also leave the target with a burn.

Misc. Information

[spoiler=Lycanroc]

vXsHcDI.png

"Awooooo!"

iU8EggM.png

Name: Lucine

Species: Lycanroc-Midnight

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Items: 500 Poké, Big Malasada x3, Sitrus Berry, Fresh Water

[spoiler=Appearance]Pw2i5Df.png

[spoiler=The Ocean's Gray Waves]

Name: Marie
Species: Popplio
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Favored Legend: Kyogre

[spoiler=Appearance]

X1mEOsb.png?2

Height: 4'10"

Weight: 90 lbs

Not shown, as they are somewhat covered by her hair, are the classic blue floppy ears of a popplio. Her feet are also shaped more like flippers, making her more adept at swimming.

[spoiler=Personality]

Despite actually being pragmatic herself, she tries to give off an optimistic vibe to help others get back on their feet whenever they're down.

Furthermore, she is still prone to irritation and anger if provoked enough and will either mouth off or actually get violent. While she does her best to try and stay composed, trying to keep a brave face when others might not, she does have a great fear of being alone. As such, when she believes she is either lost from anyone familiar or abandoned, it will usually result in sobbing.

[spoiler=Bio]

Born an only child to a pair of rather prolific of performers. Marie had never actually met her parents, and only knew of what they were like from what others had told her. Ever since she could remember she had lived with an old Drampa, a friend and fan to her parents.

[spoiler=Pokestuff]

Level: 11

Ability:

Torrent - Whenever sufficiently injured, Marie's water type attacks are all powered up.
Moves/Powers:

  • Pound - Punch.
  • Disarming Voice - Making a sharp, yet melodious sound, a pulse of mystic energy is let loose at the opponent. Listen I don't know either.
  • Water Gun  -  Marie can create a ball of water and fire it. It kind of hurts.
  • Aqua Ring -  By focusing, Marie is able to create a veil of water around them that slowly nurses any wounds that they have.
  • Rain Dance - By letting out a soft, melancholy tune, Marie is able to change the weather around her to suddenly start raining.
  • Lakeside Lyrica - A lesser version of techniques known only to Primarinas, Oceanic Operetta. By letting out a soft note with her voice, Marie is able to conjure 4 small bubbles that all coalesce into one larger that one, that is then launched towards a singular target, exploding on impact. While this is easily the strongest attack she knows, it's still pretty weak.

Money/Items:

  • A blue gem that supposedly belonged to her mother.
  • 1 Soda Pop
  • 2 Sweet Malasada
  • 1 Oran Berry
  • 150 Poke

"Evildoers be wear, for I am the cracking thunder of JUSTICE! Evil shall not stand in my way!

~ General Information ~

Allias: Static Boom

Name: Hope Crozier

Species: Vikavolt

Gender: Female
Age: 26
Favored Legend: Lunala, Solgaleo, and all of the members of the Sword of Justice quartet
[spoiler=Appearance]
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 164.3 lbs

GozZWZ7.png

Underneath the mask lays a young woman with light-tan skin and long hair that she keeps in a bun as to not be uncomfortable underneath the mask. Hope has bright, green eyes.

~ Character Information ~

[spoiler=Personality]

She is empathetic with those around him, as she herself can get fairly emotional. As a hero, she has to be selfless to be able to help others. Luckily, this isn't a problem for Hope, as she is fairly selfless. Her first priority in most of the actions she does is to save civilians.

Hope is also very stubborn and headstrong; there isn't much that can stop her one she puts her mind onto doing something. She often overwhelms herself trying to help everyone she can, and in general has a tenancy to bite more than she can chew. While not a complete dullard, thinking and planning isn't really Hope's strong suit, which pairs poorly with her tenancy to charge into battle. Hope is exceptionally dramatic; this is most apparent by the fact that she tends to talk like a hero from an old cartoon. Also, she gets rather annoyed with people confusing her with a man - not enough to correct them if they're a civilian, but among friends she'll speak up about it. She is especially annoyed if its due to her rather flat chest area.

[spoiler=Biography]

Out of all of the heroes that she followed, however, was a famous chaser that went by the name "The Surge Surfer" - a Raichu that came from her hometown, and thus would come back from time to time and tell tales of his heroic journeys.

As much as she would of loved to talk to both of them, she had her duty to make sure everyone was safe. When she was sure that no one was left behind, she boarded on one of the boats with a small bag of items and the mentality to gather up a team of gijinka to return and take back Alola.

~ Inventory ~

  • 500 Poke
  • 5 Cell Batteries
  • 5 Oran Berries
  • 2 Lum Berries
  • 5 Pecha Berries

~ Misc ~
General Theme: ELEMENTS - RIDER CHIPS
Battle Theme: Boss Battle - Learn With Pokemon: Typing Adventure

Favorite Food: JUSTICE, and also berries with the occasional cell battery. But mainly JUSTICE

After some quick thought, I'll probably apply for fun for now, without any real thought of getting in. If somehow of the three apps I get picked, I'll think again whether I can handle another role to play before deciding whether to go with her or not. Do keep this in mind when deciding whose characters get in Team Alola.

[spoiler=Happily Ever After]

7JRhN2J.png
Salina Sycily
Species: Salazzle
Gender: Female
Age: 22

Level: 22
[spoiler=Appearance]FD2G0Lf.png

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 120 lbs

Her forked tongue is a good length longer than usual, and despite her attempts to hide them with makeup, her red body markings glow when under stress.

[spoiler=Personal Information]Personality

[spoiler=Combat information]Ability

Randy: I still am bothered by how old he looks. I suggest either writing something in the appearance about looking younger or make looking older than he is be part of his character.

I almost feel his character is too flawless in a sense. His pride is clearly not an issue because it's part act and the part that isn't he's still fine with losing. It's not a huge problem per say but I would like to see something more of his flaws.

The Bio seems fine overall.

As does the Powers

Overall there's not really many issues besides what I pointed out. Seems solid.

Lucine: A question. Does Lucine actually look intimidating in some tangible way? I ask because of how not intimidating the image looks but there's an implication that she at first glance is intimidating.

My main issue with the personality is the surplus of "She's this except for in these situations" which make her seem to be a little more bland. As in stuff like "she's super optimistic but not in certain situations". There's a lot of things like that which just seem to be to add length to the personality but it causes her to have less defining traits. Plus it's much harder to realistically play a character who has so much to keep in mind. At very least I'd like a shorter version of what her major traits is.

Bio is fine. While I do like linking it to Randy I will be trying NOT to take that too much into account due to not wanting to force people to do it.

Powers are fine but I do worry about the fact that usually Stone Edge's main flaw is not having many uses.

Overall I like her but some things are worrisome.

Marie: Precious child V2. I want to know what's up with that...hat? What even is that?

I like that her personality could easily get her into trouble, that's always fun. In fact her entire personality seems to be set up for her own failure which is interesting if that's the intention. Good of you to keep the kid vibe but I do wonder about a couple things. One in what way is she pragmatic?  Two what kind of provocation? Also I'd like more specifics on what she does when angered.

So why doesn't she see her parents? Did they abandon her or what? Other than that the bio is really solid.

Powers are fine

Overall probably the most solid all together with a few questions for clarity.

Hope: Maybe a little more description on the non-suited appearance could be nice here. Also how often is she in that suit and how comfortable is it? And is it a natural thing for her species? If not what part of her comes from the Gijinka side?

Personality seems for the most part fine. I was worried with the first part because she seemed to have little flaws but then we delved into her being...well she reminds me of Mac. Actually, it would make me feel better if you look at Mac and tell me specifically what the major differences in personality are there.

Chasers aren't exactly a thing in Alola but there are those who, if considered strong enough, get a chance to fight the Alolan legends for honor. Not something I specified very well so that's on me but keep it in mind. Also Sogeleo and Lunala were on the boat with the rest of Team Alola.

Powers are fine

Overall she is pretty good but more info on appearance is needed and some bio fixes. Also the Mac thing because it's gonna bug me so much.

Salina: 22 22 lol

Salandit evolves at level 33 though and while lower level evolution is fine in some cases it seems a big difference here.

That Appearance tho

Her personality concerns me because of just how thin-ice that sort of thing is. It's very easy to really screw it up and be just pandering or stereotypical. There's some good bits in there but it seems to always just come back to the most basic and blatant thing. It's not bad exactly and it could be really fun for some interactions but it also feels borderline disturbing. She almost feels more like a one-off NPC to stir up some interactions.

The bio is basic but that doesn't make it bad on its own. I was hoping to see something that might help explain her attitude though so that kind of stands out. Which makes the stuff about the personality even more "This is awkward".

Combat stuff is fine and interesting. Also "Poke" instead of "coin".

Okay so we've got 5 potentials and only 3 spots which means, if no others come in later, 2 will have to go. Right now the ones I'm leaning towards having be in this are Randy and Marie but that of course can change.

I must be missing the bit that implies she's intimidating unless it's the "If it were anyone else, Lucine's appearance would probably be fairly intimidating." bit. If that's it, it's probably just poor choice of words on my part; a quick and slightly exaggerated comparison would be like comparing a life-sized stuffed lion to the real thing. They're similar at a glance, but a stuffed lion doesn't really give off that "I am the king of the jungle, bow before me." vibe.

As for personality, I glanced back through it again and I definitely did have some poor choices in wording. I can go ahead and rewrite it with a more careful look at what words I choose if that eases your concerns any. I'm with you on the Stone Edge issue, though nightroc doesn't really get many STAB options (the best alternative would be Rock Slide) that suit Lucine and that I personally like (using moves I don't like has been problematic this RP, namely with Fawkes).

I edited the bio.

As for the Hope vs Mac things, I think that while they are pretty similar they have a couple of key distinctions. I think the main distinction between the two is that Mac is a lot louder and honest about how she feels about things, while Hope is the type of person to hide how she's feeling in order to not worry others. She is also in general more level-headed than Mac despite her dramatic way of acting while in her superhero persona. I guess a way to put it is Hope is more big sister, looking out for her younger siblings and putting them ahead of herself while Mac is more little sisterly - naive and hot-headed, probably most importantly she's 'pure'.

I've made some changes to her to further separate the two and to better express her personality.

Fair enough. I think I'll withdraw from trying to apply into Alola. Upon sitting and thinking about it, I already have 2 roles I'm playing here(and I'm aware there are monsters in the RP section like you people who do like, 5 at the same time whereas I struggle to find motivation to post one a week), but since I had a character I thought was interesting I decided to wait for this first.

Aww okay. It was an interesting concept though.

Also that moveset is quite clever.

But fair enough don't want to tax yourself. Clo~ is great on her own

I genuinely had no idea what to do with her moveset until I scrolled past Salazzle's movelist and saw the two taunt moves did opposite things, then the idea came to me. The level 22 thing was indeed sorta a lazy mistake, I saw it evolved at level 33 and somehow forgot it in favor of having a not-strong support oriented character.

On the bio, I didn't want to give her some kind of weird traumatic past to explain her being a slut but if the lack of that seems unnatural I'll have to account for it next time. Personality though, can't really reassure anything since she's not gonna be played but, I was thinking that since most RPers are probably gonna have their character push her away(since it'd probably feel weird to have your character randomly have sex with a loose person randomly) so I was looking forward to how the dynamics would form based off that.

I can understand that and it's the thing I was considering with team dynamics. Just didn't want it to just be that I suppose.

Oh but for future stuff. Doesn't need to be all too traumatic past necessarily but there are plenty of things that could lead to it. Say...lack of attention or growing up with someone who was super confident of that stuff and not realizing it was only part of who they were but still trying to follow in their footsteps.
