Would definitely run Card B over A. I mean, Card A does negate effects, but only activated ones. Jinzo says hello. It's a shame he's difficult to play these days. As for Card B, would I like to negate an attack, activate Foolish Burial, and lockdown my opponent until the end of the Battle Phase? Yes please.

Vote for Card B.

Card A appears to be a Continuous Trap based on how it's worded. When you run a battle trap, one of the few things you want it to do is to protect you or your monsters, preferably by getting the attacker off the field. Card A doesn't really do that, and while it does stop effects from activating, reducing the damage you take isn't as favourable as a defense mechanism. That, and the fact that it affects both players and can be neutralized by basic S/T removal after its activation gives players another reason not to run it.

Card B negates the attack - normally also something not as favorable - but it makes up for it with a couple of cool things. Selective mill is particularly powerful in this game due to everyone and their mother having some form of Graveyard interaction particularly where monsters are concerned, and it also blocks the opponent from doing anything else other than attacking. Although, it lasts till the end of the Battle Phase, severely limiting the situations where the full bite of this shutout can be felt.

Vote goes to Card B.

Card A basically reduces the amount of battle damage you take, but unlike stuff like Mirror Force and the like, the opponent's monster(s) still exist and depending on the circumstances, the halved damage won't do you any good. It negates effects that trigger on the field, but Armades doesn't care.

B is basically Foolish Burial that can negate attacks and the opponent's chances of playing this turn. This only lasts one turn, yes, but compared to card A, you at least get to block one attack at minimum and opponent can't do much else. Because of the Graveyard interactions, a few Decks can plus off of the mill effect.

(As far as the effects are concerned, A is basically a one-turn thing as well since it blows itself up when your turn is over.)

Vote to B.
