List of canon medabots

[spoiler=Plot]

This is a SoL/Action style Rp that will take place in the Meda-Champ University.  It is a boarding school, so dormitories will be on campus.  One for boys and one for girls.  You will attend class, if you so choose, and will be taught multiple lessons during that class session.  There's only one class per day, so you are free to do as you please afterwards.  Don't think that there won't be tests either, because you're still a student!  While in class, your medabot will sit next to you.  Desks are set up so that two people can occupy one desk.  Your class is 1-C, fresh blood ready to be heated up!  This school will try it's best to mold its attendees into the finest shape that it can!  It will make you champions!

[spoiler=University Map]

Main Building - This is where you'll attend classes.  The 1-C classroom is on the second floor.  There is a relatively small library on the first floor.

Cafeteria - Self explanatory.  An enclosed space where you can pickup, and eat meals, if you so desire.

Gym - This is where all your training exercises will take place.  Whether that be medabot coordination, or sparring, is up to you.

Boys/Girls dorms - another self explanatory building.  This place doesn't have co-ed dorms!  Dorm rooms come equipped with a large and small bed, one for human and one for their respective medabot.  Also in each room, there is a bathroom.  The bathroom contains a sink, toilet, and shower.  Each floor of the 5 floor dorm contains one kitchen.

[spoiler=Medacard]

A card given to every university student and employee.  This card displays time, and other various statistics much like your typical smartphone.  However, it is used to access most facilities around the school, and even unlock the school's front gate itself..  Everyday, a student will acquire a total balance of 1000 credits to use as they please among campus, whether it be on snacks, or meals.  However, the balance resets everyday, so student's must spend wisely.

As someone with no real interest in or knowledge of Medabots, you have my pending interest for this RP. Does "mini Real Steel where the robots have powers" sum it up or are there details I'd need to be filled in on? I'm just stoked to see a SoL RP on the site for once tbqh.

Yeah.  But it's like a really specific power that your little robot can't use unless they have their little medal.  Also, the robots don't even come to a regular child's height.

[spoiler=Reiji Masaaki - Medachanic]

"Lupin, would you hold still? I have to tighten one more bolt!"

x393wz.jpg

Personal Information

x393wz.jpg

Name: Reiji Masaaki

Age: 16

Gender: Male

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance:]

Kisaragi.Shintaro.full.1205606.jpg

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 134 lbs

[spoiler=Personality:]

Reiji seems a bit quiet and to himself, and while that's mainly cause he hasn't made many friends as he grew up, he has been trying to do his best to step out of his comfort zone and befriend others around him. And the best two ways he thinks he can do this is by working on Medabots as a mechanic, just like his father, and even fighting people in a RoBattle with Lupin by his side.

In a RoBattle, Reiji does his best to think with a level head on his shoulder. He goes by the teaching that everything is like a giant gear, you do one thing to toss something out of order, things will begin to fall apart. Not only this, he prefers to have play defensive at first, just to find out his opponent's strategies in order to have them collapse in the end.

When he's not dealing with classwork or the RoBattles, Reiji finds solace in working on designs and thoughts for Medabots. As a mechanic, he feels it isn't just his job to work on them, but to also think of new and inventive ways for them to perform. This includes medal combinations, different weapon options, and the like. Also, its another thing to notice that Reiji usually has a pair of earbuds in his ears (usually one out and one in) listening to music and usually has a cherry sucker in his mouth when he's working on Medabots or working on designs.

[spoiler=Biography:]

"Well, the story about how me and Lupin met is...pretty interesting."

Reiji is a single child that lives with his single parent father. There were...complications that Reiji was too young to know exactly when he was three, but his parents did get a divorce and his mother left him with his father. Regardless of that, Reiji didn't have it as tough as the originally thought. His father ran a small mechanics shop that dealt with repairing Medabots. That was the most fun he had. Reiji enjoyed helping and watching his father working on so many different Medabots. However, deep down, Reiji wished he could have his own for a friend. His wish was finally realized...

One night, there was a ruckus that was heard downstairs in his father's shop. Reiji headed down to find out what was the problem, only to see a lone Medabot that was pretty banged up. He recognized the model being GWF-0NF Ashton. Reiji moved down towards the Medabot and started to fix up the bot. The Ashton model was surprisingly accepting of the help, but was extremely displeased with the roughness of the kid tightening his bolts and joints. Reiji just sat there listening to this lone Medabot, named Lupin, hearing how he never found the right one to be his partner and how he's fought many different bots...and the way he looked, it was obvious.

Reiji finally finished the bot up and gave Lupin an offer. He knew he didn't have anywhere to stay with him and his dad and exchange, he'd be his partner. Surprisingly, the answer was yes.

Once Reiji turned sixteen, his father enrolled him into the Meda-Champ University. He wanted his son to put his skills of being partners with Lupin and even his knowledge of fixing up Medabots to good use. Both Reiji and Lupin were both excited and grateful for the opportunity.

Medabot Partner: Lupin (GWF-0NF Ashton)

Misc. Information

x393wz.jpg

Reiji's Theme | Battle Theme

  • Reiji's name can be translated into the following: Reiji - "courteous child", Masaaki - "correct brightness".
  • Reiji's last name, Masaaki, could also be a nod towards the Japanese singer: Masaaki Endoh
  • Reiji being a mechanic-styled character would also match Lupin and his medal: the Angel Medal, which deals in regeneration.

Medabot Name: Lupin

Medabot Gender: Male

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance:]

Ashton_Medarot_Navi_Artwork.jpg

Height: 3'8"

Weight: 140 lbs

[spoiler=Personality:]

Lupin, unlike the wolves his motif was based upon, acts more like you would find in a Cyandog. He happens to be as loyal as they come, given the moment he finally finds his partner (or when he found him) and will do what he can to make Reiji happy. While as loyal as a Cyandog, Lupin does have a sort of complex to where he needs to do some things on his on, or rather...he thinks he does. This stems from his time living on his own and trying to survive whilst finding a partner. In combat, Lupin does his best to suppress his wild urges to battle like he used to and listen to Reiji, but sometimes that's harder than it seems. When it comes to other Medabots and even humans, Lupin is sketchy on them when he first meets new ones, but if Reiji happens to try and be friendly with them...he'll give them a shot.

Lupin absolutely hates his joints and bolts being tightened by Reiji. He complains that he puts a lot of unnecessary force into it. Though Reiji thinks he's just being a big baby.

[spoiler=Equipment:]

Angel Medal: This is the chosen medal that - put within his Medabot Partner. With this medal, it allows for a Medabot to regenerate his or an ally's Medaparts.

Ash Breaker: On the right arm, Lupin has an oversized Break Generator which can be used as a sort of shield mechanism.

Ash Buster: On the left arm, Lupin can hammer nearby enemies.

Ash Leg: The legs on Lupin allow him to have great speed over grass and the forest terrains.

x393wz.jpg

Misc. Information

x393wz.jpg

Lupin's Theme

  • Lupin's name actually is a take on the word "Lupine" which is the French adjective meaning: "of or relating to or characteristics of wolves". This name was given to Lupin due to the fact that his Medabot model motif was in fact a gray wolf.
  • Lupin does sometimes act like a regular dog. For example, there are times when Reiji will rub his head behind his ears parts and his left foot will begin to thump (only because he has no tail).

[spoiler=Human]

8LTwYs1.png
"W-Wait, your plan, it's..."

Name: Rose Black

Age: 15

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]u5uTn9n.png
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 96 pounds

Rose is kind of on the small side, which the rest of her appearance might reflect. Her short silver hair compliments her rather pale skin tone, both of which cause a pair of deep indigo eyes to stand out against the general lack of color on her head. She's often quite shy about her body, and tends to wear clothing that covers as much skin as possible. This holds especially true for her legs, with her left leg having an oddly-shaped birthmark on the side. Other than this birthmark, which tends to stay hidden underneath clothing, Rose's most distinguishing feature is a distinct onyx brooch she wears, with a pair of amethysts set in the piece. Allegedly, the brooch is a family heirloom.

[spoiler=Personality]
Rose isn't much of a doer, preferring to be the voice of reason and the mind of brilliance. She's noted to be able to keep her cool and maintain a level head in even the most chaotic of conditions, and has good leadership skills should a room descend into anarchy. It's a shame she's one of the worst possible people to have these skills though, as Rose is rather timid in nature and doesn't function well with crowds. Rose is most comfortable either by herself or with only a small handful of people around her. This rather acute social anxiety is one of two foils to her typical calm, and can leave her anywhere from jittery to completely shutting down. Crowds, public speaking, and excess attention don't sit well with her and may cause her to flee the scene. These social phobias are partly rooted in a very high self-consciousness about the image others may have of her.

While a very intelligent child, Rose never did fully grasp that the opinions of others aren't everything. She takes great care to not have a negative image, almost ridiculously so, and can build up a lot of stress thinking about it, which rises to the surface when confronted with social anxiety. To relieve this stress, Rose likes to let her mind escape the world she's stuck in and go somewhere else. Somewhere magical. She's a huge fan of fantasy novels, RPGs, and even role-playing. In these kinds of activities, Rose likes to cast herself as the evil sorceress that conjures forth armies of the damned to end all life and establish an eternal reign over her undying kingdom. She's pretty good at the villain thing, too.

Befriending Rose, while not an easy task, can be immensely rewarding if one seeks a loyal friend. Rose would never betray someone she trusts enough to call a friend, nor would she stand by and watch them suffer. No matter what it may be, she's got their back, and seldom asks for anything in return. They're the first people she'll turn to if she has exciting news. While social fear is one of only two things to break her calm, the other is being excited and being able to share that excitement with people she cares about. She wants mostly to be happy, and wants nothing less for those important to her.

[spoiler=Biography]
Rose's family has been very well financially for a couple generations, but the girl herself initially grew up in a rather rural town, away from some of the more prominent technologies of the world. Her parents ran a funeral home and managed the funerals there, but the Black family's true wealth came from Rose's great-grandfather, a stock market genius who made millions with his knack for businesses. As a result, the family was and still is free to do as they pleased with their life; Rose's parents simply decided a funeral home and a humble life was the right way to go. Rose found her parents' work fascinating, running funerals to help the dearly departed be sent off as well as possible. It was fully possible for Rose to run the place herself one day; her parents had noticed Rose was a very intelligent child, and they had high expectations of her as a result. The love of her family's job and the high bar she knew she had to meet ultimately led to a miscommunication or two that changed Rose for the worse.

It was career day at a young Rose's elementary school, and she'd brought along her mother, the undertaker. While they were meant as anything from innocent jokes to cheesy compliments, comments like "She's the Grim Reaper's kid" or "A killer career" were heavily misinterpreted on Rose's end. While they were meant to make her and the other students smile and laugh, Rose mistook it for being called a freak of some sort and being doomed to fall to a life of serial killing. She cried, left the classroom, and quite literally ran home. Needless to say, she was mortified. She didn't even look at her mother for a week afterwards, and didn't go to school for three. By the time she'd returned, she made every possible effort to avoid her classmates and other students, going about her business then returning home. She didn't want to deal with an experience like that again after having been placed on a grand pedestal by her parents, only to have it undermined by what she thought were snarky insults and grim predictions for her future. It became a daily routine in time, but Rose's social fate was sealed the following summer.

The following summer, her family moved far away, figuring distancing Rose from the instigators of her not-so-small panic attack several months prior would make things better. It only made them worse. Rose believed it was because her family too was ashamed of her classmates mocking their career, to such an extent that they fled across the country. It also meant her classmates had no way to clear the bad air between her and them any longer, and Rose wouldn't learn that it was all just a big misunderstanding. Rose found herself falling more and more inward. It was finally decided that a friend would have to be found for Rose. One that would listen unconditionally, wouldn't grow tired of her, and could provide a feeling of safety. Enter stage left, medabots.

Rose had seen them around a few times at that point. Kids of all sorts had these robotic companions. In all honesty, she envied them a bit. It came as a huge surprise when she returned home from school one day to find a medabot in her house, waiting for her specifically. Rose named the robot Mava, and the two quickly became inseperable. Mava provided Rose with a stalwart companion she could feel confident abouot, and Rose provided Mava a person that made her feel important. It was very much a beneficial frienship for both of them. The two even tried battling other medabots every now and then, something Mava's bulk plus Rose's genius made into quite the entertaining sport. It was by Mava's suggestion that Rose looked into pro robattles, and what she saw amazed her and filled her with awe. It inspired the pair to aim for the pro leagues themselves. Which brings us to today.

It's been eight years since Mava's activation. While the pair haven't improved as much as they'd have liked, it was still enough to enter Meda-Champ University in conjuncture with Rose's academic history. And so, the sturdy medabot and her socially anxious partner have taken their steps into this prestigious school.

Medabot Partner: Mava

[spoiler=Medabot]

Model: Baa-Baa Bluey

Name: Mava

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]694e13111b7317a6b1e053035dbe354e-d58d2v6
Height: 3'10"
Weight: 132 pounds

[spoiler=Personality]
Mava can be a bit of a show-off, but wishes nothing but the best for those around her. She's a rather selfless and considerate sort for the most part, aiming to help people in whatever way possible, and lifting spirits when she can figure out how. She's especially careful with humans; they're very fragile creatures compared to medabots - let alone Mava - so she tends to overestimate any injuries humans may sustain and worry herself too much about their health. Not very much unlike a mother worrying over her child, really, but substituting "her child" for "humans".

Another notable trait of Mava's is that she's very patient. She can wait and listen seemingly forever, and has become legitimately angry perhaps twice in her eight years of being active. However, as much as she's patient, Mava is also quite stubborn. Once she's set her mind to something, it takes a lot of effort to change her mind about it. She also enjoys being praised and needed, and isn't necessarily a humble bot. In a stark contrast to her owner, Mava loves the spotlight when she happens to get it, enjoying the adoration of others and the cheers of a crowd. It's not something she brings up often, but she'd really like to be famous and have fans.

[spoiler=Equipment]
Medal: Mava has a Knight Medal, making her more resilient and willing to defend those around her from harm.

Zephyr Hooves: The bottoms of Mava's feet are equipped with small jets! These allow her to move at high speeds and cause her kicks to pack quite a punch.

Safety Bell: The bell around Mava's neck is more than just a cute accessory. It's capable of creating a small force field around Mava, mitigating attacks made against her or anyone she's blocking.

[spoiler=Stel, The Explorer] sj6iZfc.jpg

"How do you do? You're here to train too, right?"

Name: Stel Felch

Age: 15

Gender: Male

[spoiler=Appearance]V3pBUIc.jpg

Though he usually goes without the scarf on hotter days, Stel tends to dress rather warmly, preferring long sleeves and coats. He's 5 foot 7 and rather on the thin side. He's also light, weighing just over 115 Lbs. His phisique makes him an excellent runner, though being as lean as he is means he lacks upper body strength.

[spoiler=Personality]Stel is polite, softspoken, and easygoing. A somewhat shy boy, he doesn't usually speak unless spoken to, and tends to avoid calling attention to himself. Instead, Stel prefers to observe, watching and listening intently to what's around him. Naturally curious (some might even say nosy), he tends to ask a lot of questions and can sometimes stick his nose where it doesn't belong. Of course, he does so in the nicest way he can, despite the social faux pas. This politeness extends to most things Stel does. His manners are remarkable for a boy his age and this, in addition to his intelligence and being well read, makes Stel stunningly well spoken.

That said, Stel is a rather meek boy, and due to both this disposition and a lack of physical strength he's easily pushed around. Because of this Stel usually avoids speaking his mind for fear of provoking a confrontation. When push comes to shove, Stel prefers to negotiate rather than fight, as thinking his way through a problem suits him much better than confronting it. This extends to robattles as well, where he fights tactically and with much more reserve than the vast majority of his peers. In fact, he's become somewhat known for thinking outside the box in combat, using unorthodox strategies that often play to the strengths of his KWG-type medabot, Kilo.

One of Stel's best attributes is his objectivity. He considers all sides of a situation before taking a stance, and will rarely, if ever discount another person's opinions. This also means he's able and willing to take more abuse from others than most, simply because he simultaniously sees the validity of it, and is laid back enough not to let it get to him. That said, he doesn't hold others to this same standard, and as a result Stel can often be both too trusting and too accepting of others' behavior.

[spoiler=Biography]Stel comes from a family of modest means, their only source of income being the small farmers' market jointly owned by his parents. Though there was obviously always food on the table, growing up Stel and his siblings had few luxuries, and as a result the children were often outdoors entertaining themselves, or, as was often the case with middle child Stel, at the local library tearing through a book. Though relatively uneventful, this stable upbringing fostered both an appreciation for nature and a love of literature in Stel, who continued to become more and more curious as he grew older.

As he approached his teens, Stel's curiosity led him to venture out and explore. He often went hiking, and was even repremanded for tresspassing several times. It was during one of these adventures that Stel happened upon what was left of a medabot's tinpet, long since rusted out beyond use, and seemingly hidden far out of the way in an abandoned factory. Inside its slot however was a treasure: an intact Kuwagata medal, seemingly in pristine condition.

Stel took this stroke of luck to heart. His family was unable to afford medabots for any of their children, and so when he brought the medal home, he showed it to his brother, sister and parents, and broached the idea of adding a robotic companion to the household (as tinpets and parts were cheaper than medals, relatively speaking). And so soon after, a Mach Massive named Kilo became a member of the Felch family.

Its been six months since then, and though they don't always see eye to eye, Kilo and Stel have developed a strong friendship, to the point that they've begun training to robattle together. Stel's parents took notice, and surprised Stel on his 15th birthday by enrolling him in Meda-Champ.

[spoiler=Personality:]

Medal: Owl Medal: Medabots equipped with the Owl Medal are not only granted silent footsteps, but the noise emitted from the ignition of their propulsion systems are significantly quieter than the noise emitted from other Medabots' propulsion systems. As such, the Owl Medal is especially recommended for stealth-orientated Medabots. The Owl Medal comes in two forms: the Crest Owl Medal, and the Lilith Owl Medal.
[spoiler=Equipment:]Taser Fangs (Head Equipment): All Countesla Medabots are equipped with this weapon as standard, and Guilemete is no exception. It ejects from the mouth, as one would expect, and charges up electricity that can be fired at an enemy to cause paralysis. Alternatively, Guilemete can bite down on an enemy Medabot while the fangs charge up electricity, and if she does, the stricken part will be disabled on top of the Medabot suffering paralysis.

Bat Drones (Left & Right Arm Equipment): Guilemete shoots a myriad of pellets that appear spherical as they are first ejected. As they begin to travel down range however, bat-shaped wings sprout out from the sides and vibrate constantly, and these so-called "pellets" dart all over the place, revealing themselves to be miniature drones of sorts. These drones serve more of a distraction than a true weapon, but they are capable of inflicting Viruses on Medabots that remain surrounded by them for too long, and they excel at relaying information that Guilemete may need at any time. Drones that are still functional return to Guilemete when the battle is over.

[spoiler=Finn]

igITmke.jpg?1

Name: Finn Roper

Age: 15

Gender: Male

[spoiler=Appearance:]

8fxh7Yd.jpg

Height: 5"5'

Weight: 124 lbs

[spoiler=Personality:]

A caring and loving individual, Finn is the kind of person to take care of anyone who looks like they are in need, or are in a bit of a pickle.  He isn't the type to turn someone down, and is often taken advantage of for this very fact, beyond the point of her spending his own money to help someone.  Finn does this because he sees the good in everyone, and he wants people to see the best in him.  Although he goes out of his way to help people, he is very shy and hesitant when talking to those who he thinks he were in need.  It goes as far that people think that he may be about to confess his feelings for them at any moment, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

While Finn isn't helping others, he's usually brushing up on his medabot history.  He idolizes medabot fighters and wishes to be one of the best among the pros.  He focuses on honing his strategies in the ring, instead of utilizing brute force tactics that he sees most of the time in his age group.

Finn is a very feminine boy, and is almost always mistaken as a female by those who aren't familiar with them.  Finn is also quite the healthy individual.  He practices a healthy diet and exercises regularly.  However, he is very vulnerable to sweet treats, and can be bent into anyone's will if a piece of pie is involved.

[spoiler=Biography:]

Finn is the single child in his family, and has been sheltered most of his life.  Although he constantly asked to become an older brother, his parents always seemed to say no.  They always said that he was their little miracle, and he never figured out why until he was a little older.  In his early childhood, Finn was harshly sick and relied on the generosity of others to help him while he was unable to help himself.  This is why he is so helpful nowadays, he wishes to repay the kindness that he had received while growing up.  Although, when he came down with a serious life-threatening eye infection one day, the doctors were forced to take his right eye away.  During his recovery, his parents had saved up money, and bought a used medabot for him.

This medabot's name was June and she also had no left eye.  It happened to be just a coincidence at the time that both had no left eye, and his parents had bought it before the whole circumstance began.  However, Finn couldn't have been more happy.  He saw June as the younger sister he always wanted.  June and Finn have been together for five years now, and they are a close knit pair.  On his fifteenth birthday, his parents had another surprise in store for him.  They enrolled Finn into the Meda-Champ University!

[spoiler=Resident Music Lover]Name: Freya Jennings

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 125 lbs

Medabot Partner: Anubis

[spoiler=Appearance]Anime_Rock_Out_Girl.jpg

[spoiler=Personality]Freya is as cheerful as they come and always has a smile on her face. Freya is always wanting to make new friends and joining a university for medabattling was just something she couldn't resist. New friends, rivals, Medabots, and maybe new music. When it comes to music, Freya can't get enough of it, she goes into her own little world when she starts listening to her headphones and can't help but sing along when one of her favorite songs comes on. This can be bothersome sometimes as she doesn't really have good listening ears, not because she has her music too loud, but because once she starts listening to a good song, she won't listen to anything else.

Freya does have a soft spot for family and can get kinda down when she's reminded of her family. She usually has to listen to one of her songs to get back in a good mood. She also has a surprising temper if someone pushes her buttons, especially if someone takes her headphones away from her. Freya may like music more than medabattling, but she still wants to get better at it so her older sister can be proud of her.

[spoiler=Biography]Freya's family has always been on the separate side, with her mother passing away from sickness three years ago and her father being on business trips most of the time. The only one to stay for most of Freya's life was her older sister Kris, who is also an experienced robattler. Now because of her life away from most of her family, some would think that Freya has a rather sad life, but that's not true, Freya actually has a rather cheerful outlook. In fact, the one thing that makes Freya forget all the troubles in the world is her love of music, she can't help but jam out to a song she likes, which is pretty much all the time as she brings a pair of headphones wherever she goes.

One day, Freya was sitting around watching her sister practice with her Medabot when she thought she could give robattling a try. When Kris let Freya borrow her Medabot, Anubis, Freya had a bit of a problem focusing, but once she started listening to her music, she started to show promise as a robattler. It seemed that when she was in her own world, Freya could actually focus on a battle without being distracted by other things. With this in mind, Kris signed Freya up for the Meda-Champ University and let her keep Anubis, in exchange, Kris asked Freya to become a great robattler, one greater than her. Freya excepted this with a smile on her face and set off with her new partner to become a better robattler.

[spoiler=Misc]Favorite Song: https://youtu.be/pIjir3kro20

Always has a her headphones around whenever she feels like jamming.

[spoiler=Silent Guardian]Model: MKII Jackel

Name: Anubis

Gender: Male

Height: 3'6"

Weight: 144 lbs

[spoiler=Appearance]https://imgur.com/zOsb96E

[spoiler=Personality]Anubis is used to being partnered to an expert medabattler, so when he was partnered with Freya, his world kinda flipped upside down. Anubis is a bit on the quiet side, preferring to only talk with Freya and sometimes with those he deems a strong ally. In battle, he can be seen as being honorable to those he fights, though when it comes down to it, he can be brutal. He finds it hard to concentrate sometimes when Freya is listening to some of her louder music, and feels his skills could be better utilized by a more mature robattler. Nevertheless, Anubis sticks by Freya's side, as he had made a promise to his former partner that he would, in the hopes Freya will become a better robattler someday.

[spoiler=Equipment]Octopus Medal: Allows Anubis to cloak himself, making him completely invisible for up to two minutes, it doesn't muffle his sound though.

Right Arm: An ankh shaped weapon that's a blade on one end and a blaster on the other, the whole of the weapon can also be used as a shield.

Left Arm: Hooked claws that allow Anubis to catch and parry incoming melee attacks, can also be used as a simple melee weapon.

Legs: Made for agility, Anubis can run and jump at high speeds, the clawed feet can also lock down onto any surface allowing Anubis to position himself anywhere, including on a wall, or upside down on a ceiling.

[spoiler=WEBSTER MOTHAF*CKIN' KEELE... also Letty.]

PzpDajJ.jpg

"Hit it till it DIES!"

Name: Webster Keele
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance:

PzpDajJ.jpg

Webster weighs in at 133 pounds and stands at five feet, six inches.
Personality: Determined to succeed and sure to let you know about it, Webster is always raring to go. Webster loves RoBattling, and is enthusiastic as hell about it and his other interests, which include soccer and other, more extreme sports like rock-climbing. He wants to become the RoBattling champion, and seeks to emulate the powerful image he feels is associated with that. Sadly, Webster lacks a good win record in Robo-Battling, having lost a good percentage of his battles thus far. This mainly stems from a lack of good connection to his Medabot and an understanding of how best to utilize her abilities. Not satisfied with Letty's low damage output, he constantly saddles her with Medaparts that don't mesh well with her Medal or small size. Webster is a touch slow to learn and very stubborn, so he has yet to realize the issue is this incompatibility, and refuses to swap her medal out, reasoning that he'll just win enough parts to retrofit her anyway, even though this is a very unlikely goal at present.

Webster wants more than anything to be liked. Underneath the loud, brash boy is someone who wants people to look up to him. It was what drew him to RoBattling in the first place: The prestige, the image associated with professional battling. He struggles with not being able to reach that ideal, and hates losing. He hasn't figured out the finer points of Robo-Battling yet, still in the phase where he thinks hitting something till it ceases function is the way to go. Webster is nevertheless a guy who loves to have a lot of fun, and will always try to bring a smile to the faces of people he likes. His short temper and impulsiveness may send him at you if you get in his face, however. Loud and brash, and quite a fan of introducing himself as "WEBSTER MOTHAF*CKIN KEELE," he is almost always the center of attention with the force of his personality.

Biography: Webster has always been a huge Robattling fan, and has always wanted a Medabot capable of bringing him to the top of the field. Though his family had plenty of money, his parents were very hesitant to buy him one. They were worried that his impulsive nature and an object that was loaded up with guns would be a bad combination, and he could end up hurting himself. One of the few people who didn't seem to share their opinion was his older cousin Grace. A researcher of medicine and librarian, she was very supportive of Webster's dreams of professional Robattling. He looked up to her and declared her his favorite relative in return. Eventually, for his fourteenth birthday, Grace gifted Webster with her own Medabot, Letty, as she was soon to head overseas on grant work and she didn't think the work would suit her. The only issue was that Letty wasn't used to combat, having been used mainly as an assistant to Grace, fetching books, holding things, etc. She also didn't gel with Webster's preferred fighting style (read: Smash it a lot). Nevertheless, he refuses to swap out her Medal on the grounds that Grace gave it to him, as well as not realizing how truly he fails to work with her by loading her down with more combat-oriented Medaparts.

He managed to squeak into Meda-Champ University recently by the skin of his teeth, his lackluster grades in anything not named P.E. up to that point and rudimentary Robattling knowledge not impressing the teachers much. He's got a lot to prove, and the pressure is mounting before classes even stat by his concerned parents.

Medabot Partner: Letty
Misc: Webster is a very accomplished athlete, being particularly skilled in soccer.

Medabot App

Medabot Model: Ptolemy
Medabot Name: Letty
Medabot Gender: Female
Appearance:

s2xtnfx.png

Letty stands at 3 feet, 4 inches, and weights 115 pounds.
Personality: A quiet bot, Letty is as mild-mannered as they come, a striking contrast to her Medafighter. She is a pleasant and soft-spoken Medabot, who easily gets flustered and embarrassed. Letty is also very low on self-confidence, being the last in almost any group to speak up. She's very helpful, though, and often goes out of her way to try and assist people she likes, and even strangers can expect her to be kind and gentle, and willing to lend a hand. She's also very intelligent and organized, taking personal pleasure in keeping a space clean and tidy. Letty is not very practiced at Robattling, having gone through very little combat usage before she came under Webster's ownership. She has more knowledge of human anatomy than most Medabots from her time with Webster's cousin Grace, and has a lot of her mannerisms from her. She is somewhat intimidated by Webster, though she does ultimately like him, and blames herself for their failures at Robattling, not realizing its a problem on both sides. Webster is very much the dominant one in their relationship, and Letty is happy to keep it that way.
Medal: Dragonfly Medal- Letty's Dragonfly metal gives her in general a speed boost, combining with her smaller size and frame to make her quicker than the average Medabot. This is hampered by usage of heavier Medaparts, however.
Medabot Equipment:

Head- Light-a-Lamp. Contains the scoping ability, improving accuracy if Letty isn't moving.

Right arm- Grind. A rifle that doesn't do much damage but can fire very quickly.

Left Arm- Swat. A Gatling that gets a snipe attack for improved critical damage.

Legs- Turnover. Allows Letty increased movement speed on grassy or forest terrain, improving her already great overall speed.

[spoiler=Lily Sterling]

233aa0d0_o.png

“T-That's enough, Puffy...Let's get ready for the next battle.”

Name: Lily Sterling

Age: 16

Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

cebaee31_o.jpeg

Lily is 5'5 (166 cm) and weights 130 pounds (60 kg)

[spoiler=Personality] Victim of bullying, the anxious young girl resorted to creating several barriers around her, not letting anybody hurt her anymore. She's a quiet person who always minds her words, never saying more than she needs to but also always saying the right things. Lily is a solemn young woman who carries an aura of mystery around her wherever she goes, yet goes by unnoticed by most. Or so she'd wish.

Puffy, her partner Medabot and adoptive sister, always makes sure to (accidentally) make Lily the center of attention, which turns the young girl into a nervous wreck. However, if one were to quietly approach her, after some time for Lily to determine if they're trustworthy, one'd find an excellent friend in her.

During battles, however, is where the duo truly shines: they fight in complete sync, using the strategies they've mastered throughout the years and making new ones on the flight as well. Looking at Lily's face during a Robattle, you can easily tell she loses all her inhibitions and is truly happy.

[spoiler=Biography] Adopted into a wealthy couple that couldn't have children, Lily was pampered with luxury throughout her whole life. She was homeschooled by the best tutors, she was given anything she ever asked for and more. Except when she asked for a little sister, at age four.

Young and naive, Lily couldn't understand why her parents couldn't just have the stork bring another baby. Still, they did the best they could: on Lily's fifth birthday her parents drove her to a Medabot store, convincing her that a Medabot would be a better little sister since she'd stay like that forever! Thrilled, Lily accepted but didn't choose one of the more expensive models like her parents expected. Instead she chose a little PomPom Mate who played music for the store.

From that day forwards, Puffy and Lily were best friends, with them calling themselves sisters as-a-matter-of-factly. However, as the years went by, young Lily's heart and wish for friendship couldn't be satisfied from the same old Medabot who always told the same corny jokes, even if she still loved her as a sister. When she turned 11, Lily was put into a private school with other students. Awkward and used to her sister Puffy, she quickly became “that weirdo” to other students.

Lily didn't care, however. The constant bullying forced her to reassure herself she needed nobody other than her sister, which is how she came upon a hobby they could both enjoy: Robattling. For the years leading up to the current date, Lily and Puffy spent her days watching pro Robattles, buying new parts and sparring with the other kids, who she still didn't talk to, her skill making her known in her school.

The next step for these two sisters was obvious: Meda-Champ University. And they were ready.

Medabot Partner: Puffy the PomPom Mate

Misc: Lily loves chocolate.

[spoiler=Puffy Sterling]

09428dc8_o.png

Hi! I'm Puffy! Lily named me Puffy when she was just 5 years old! Do you wanna see a picture of 5-year-old Lily? She was so cute! Hey, what's your name?”

Medabot Model: PomPom Mate

Medabot Name: Puffy Sterling

Medabot Gender: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]

a9244085_o.png

Puffy is 3'6 tall and weights 100 pounds.

[spoiler=Personality] Puffy is the friendliest, most upbeat Medabot you could possibly find. She loves talking to humans and her own kind alike, and you can tell right away she doesn't have a filter. Proud of her partner, she usually tells embarassing stories or comments about Lily without any intention other than to help other people see her as as much of a cool person as Puffy sees her and help the young girl make friends. She also loves throwing puns around like it's nobody's business. Puffy is driven by Lily's happiness, always giving her 100% in battle (even if she doesn't necessarily like them) just to see her smile and hear her say “Good job!”. This also means the Medabot can get a bad case of the blues after a defeat.

Beat Medal: With hardly any use in actual combat, this medal allows the equipped Medabot to play music and various sound effects from their body. Good for parties, or annoying her partner.

[spoiler=Medabot Equipment]

Left Arm – PomPow!: A high-speed, yet inaccurate gatling gun hidden within Puffy's left pompom.

Right Arm – PomSlash!: Inside her right-hand pompom lies a sharp hidden blade. It can pop out instantly and retract just as quickly.

Head – Chopphair: Puffy can spin her hair around at inhuman speeds, managing to fly like a helicopter.

Legs – Turbo Heelys: Puffy's shoes have retractible wheels to allow for faster land travel, given there's not grass or dirt around. While flying, she can use a pair of powerful jet boosters to fly faster.
