Deadlines:-Contestants have 72 hours to submit their entries.-The contest ends after cards are uploaded in 3 days. After that, if no one voted, next vote wins. Rewards:-The winner gets a rep from the loser.-All voters get a rep for voting. Requirements:Errata a banned draw card in TCG banlist with the following conditions:- The errata edit must limit drawing to 2 cards or lower- The edited card becomes limited. You must control another "Destiny HERO" monster to activate and resolve this effect. You can only use the effect of "Destiny HERO - Disk Commander" once per turn.300/300 [spoiler=Card B ( 0 Votes )]Pot of GreedNormal SpellDraw 1 card and reveal it, then apply the following effect based on its type. ● Monster: Draw 1 more card, then your opponent gains 1000 LP ● Spell: Your opponent draws 1 card, then you lose 1000 LP ● Trap: each player draws 1 card, then you lose 500 LP. Card A keeps the essence of Disk Commander in that it keeps the draw 2, yet it adds a hard OPT and makes it function in conjunction with other Destiny HEROes. Honestly, the hard OPT is the main thing it needs with the other condition making it work mainly with its own kind. That right there is what an errata should do. Card B, on the other hand, isn't a good errata. Considering most Decks consist of Monsters, this card becomes a draw 2 Upstart Goblin. Iirc, Upstart Goblin is on the banlist. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted July 3, 2016 Report Share Posted July 3, 2016 As Striker already mentioned, A at least restricts Disk Commander to being run in Destiny HEROs and has a hard OPT to prevent the infinite loops that got it banned in the first place (well, the ones linked to Zombie World plays from what I recall). If it were released like this, it'd be fine, despite the fact Destiny HEROs still need a little more pushing to become a viable Deck on their own w/out resorting to certain plays, even with the post-legacy stuff. B, however, is not a good errata. Granted, the monster card effect does give you another draw, but it's effectively Upstart Goblin, which got limited a couple banlists ago. Most Decks run monsters, yes, but the fact this sort of copies Upstart isn't good design. The Spell one hurts you the most; you get a draw, but then the opponent also gets a card and you take sizable burn. Like with monsters, these are pretty common in most, if not all Decks. Trap isn't so bad if you're willing to take 500 damage and give opponent a free card, but depending on the Deck, either this comes into play enough or rarely. ----So yeah, card A gets vote here for flavor notes and being a fair errata in general.
