iAmNateXero
The controller of this card sends 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from their hand to the Graveyard or reveals a Rock-Type from their hand during each of your End Phases. If you don't do either, this card is destroyed. When the effect of an effect monster is activated, you can tribute this card to negate the activation and destroy that monster. Okay lets debate about this guy being better than Doom caliber Knight on a great day. Lets also debate about its Release Date and its Legality. Lets also talk about this guy's Timing. Is it as fast as Doom in the Damage Phase? Does that mean it can Crush Honest (before Damage Calculation *If anybody is that stupid to activate it before hand* or even during?) [spoiler=Me discussing it live.]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHUnEIW5_Hg GO GO GO!
Guest Star
If you ask me, I'd say that it IS better than Doomcaliber Knight, albeit being a little more situational. The fact that the Tribute is optional makes it much, much better. Then again, using both in a Deck (providing 6 1900 ATK Beatsticks that can negate Monster Effects), could prove to be very beneficial.

Exiro
You need to be using Rock-Type monsters or -1 yourself every End Phase if you want to run this card instead of Skull Discovery Knight. All that just to have the same effect, but optional?I really don't think that makes it better all of a sudden.

CrabHelmet
Worse than Deathcalibre Knight. Unless you happen to run a Rock-based deck, it is virtually guaranteed to -1 you with its effect. That is in no way worth making the effect optional.
Flame Dragon
If you have a rock deck, this thing is great. Out side of their it is just about a never ending -1 and much worse then Deathcalibre.

CrabHelmet
Explain why the epic name "Core Chimair" got changed to something as stupid as that. The Japanese name is just pronounced Koakimeiru; Koa'ki Meiru and Core Chimair are just alternate ways of rendering it in English. Of course, this is still the worst possible time to remain strictly faithful to the source material. What, we can't have Deformer or Lightlords, but we can have this? GenzoTheHarpist
Of course the difference is that "Core Chimair" has meaning in english but "Koa'ki Meiru" is completely meaningless. Also the apostrophe is random and has no basis in the original japanese.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
I have to say that the Koaki Meiru monsters aren't going to be usable a lot. And it's not just the Guardian, we got about 6 more Koaki Meiru monsters (correct me if I'm wrong) and they pretty much all require you to send the Core to the Graveyard or they go to the Graveyard. Pretty bad theme, I say

Of course it's only practical when you have multiple copies of the same monster to reveal. About this card, I think anti-meta decks featuring this and cards like Legendary Jujitsu Master could work. ~ P O L A R I S ~
Rocks actually are shaping up pretty nicely, between Rock-Stone, Pachy, Gigantes, Jujitsu, Megarock, this, Dark Gaia, stuff like that, I think they could start being pretty viable.
