I'm banned' date=' for your sake I won't go into it (long story), but Roxas is being a nice fellow and posting my message for me. You should +rep him. I know Genzo posted a breakdown of the top 16 Decktypes, but this is radically different somehow, so I'm going through with it anyway. Here're a thoughts on the new Meta. 1) The diversity. Who'd've thought? I'd've expected at least 10 LS, but there're only 7. Pretty cool. 2) Counter Fairies made it in. Woot. 3) Phantom Dragon is tech now apparently. Pretty cool stuff. I still think it's bad and that other cards do its job better, but eh, worked for them. Give it a spin and see how it works out. 4) Notice the scarce number of Spells. Maurice Brantley mains FOUR spells, and Mario Matheu mains TWO. I mean sure, there're an infinite amount of numbers larger than two, but relative to the norm of 8-15 or so, it's pretty radical. Granted, Brantly ran Counter Fairies and Matheu ran Anti-Meta, both with few spells to speak of, but it would still be a great idea to start running or at least siding Jinzos and Decrees now that Traps are at an all-time high. (I might be wrong, so forget I said that if I am. They're still pretty high, so to speak.) 5) Congrats to Jeff Jones, winner of Konami's first SJC! His Deck is crazy-random. D-Hero Defender, Phantom Dragon, and Beast King Barbaros were among his choices. I don't think ANYONE would've seen those in the Champ's Deck. 6) The guys at Konami make terrible typists. Joseph Franzo apparently mained 2 CCVs. Now why hadn't this been thought of before? Do it and you'll be successful. George Garcia's Side Deck is a clone of his Extra Deck. He's got 6 Gyzaruses, 6 Heraks, and 4 Stardusts. 7) This's probably a typo looking back at 6, but Justin Trias top 16'd with no Side Deck. Awesome or what? 8) I'd wager a select few people were at that tourny considering the Top 16 Decklists. 9) lolKonami. Yeah. This is filler so there're 10 thoughts. 10's a nice number. 10) Start netdecking. ^_^ It'll be a lot cheaper to do this time around. Side Decks can't have fusions/synchros in it. Hence why people speculate as such. They made one mistake before' date=' so it's not out of the range of possibility that they'd make another one. I've been having issues like this: I think my service-provider is in a dispute with another one, which has lead to my not being able to access part of the internet. But anyways, would it be possible if someone at least went through and pasted the top 16 decklists here, and possibly other data? If they just atk and tag out you bring this out and you can even kill laquari. It's like a mini gorz vs them. If we had tragoedia things would be different.
