At a later date I got bored of them and he wanted to trade them back. So I threw in a Gold Solemn and he gave me a complete Blackwing Deck. Lightsworn runs just fine without JD. It's still better to have it, but he certainly isn't the sole win-condition. Regardless, though, Honest has uses in decks besides Lightsworn. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the deck itself runs far better without him.
